Chapter 675: Chapter 420 Return to Golden Barley_2

Wizards have always held strength in high regard, although he was a councilman, he was only a Third Rank Wizard, while the man before him, Leopold, was a genuine Fourth Rank Wizard.

“No need for formalities, I should be the one thanking you for bringing glory to the Tin Saint School.” With that, Leopold generously tossed a Storage Ring to Colin with his right hand, “Here, you deserve this.”

More than a wizard, the bearded man seed like a rcenary soldier who would be drinking barley brew at a tavern.

“Thank you.”

“No need for such words, they’re just pointless pleasantries. If you truly want to thank , then stay at the Tin Saint School.”

Colin hesitated for a mont, then fell silent.

Leopold curled his lips, a hint of barely discernible disappointnt flashed in his eyes before he continued,

“I give you these because your becoming a councilman has indeed brought substantial benefits to the Tin Saint School, you deserve it.”

“Alright, once the party starts, just make a brief appearance and then you can leave.”

After speaking, Leopold prepared to leave. Although the party was nominally to celebrate Colin’s councilmanship, for him, it was more essential to use this opportunity to negotiate so benefit sharing and establish relationships with certain wizards who would be attending.

It was a well-known fact that Colin was definitely going to leave the Tin Saint School.

Aside from the Nine Major Schools, which school could retain a Supre Council mber?

“Lord Leopold,” called out Colin.

“Is there anything else?” Leopold turned around.

“I do have a favor to ask of you.” Colin pondered for a mont and said, “I have a ntor and a school sister at the school who were sent to the front lines so ti ago, and I would ask you to recall them.”

Leopold raised an eyebrow, “Not content just leaving the school yourself, you want to take your ntor and school sister with you? Is the Tin Saint School that bad?”

“You jest, sir. It’s just that I’ve just beco a councilman and urgently need to manage my territory, and am indeed short of helping hands.”

“Whether the ntor and school sister choose to leave the School will depend on their own decision at that ti.”

“Alright, I’ll help you,” Leopold waved dismissively, paused, then added,

“If there have been so unpleasant things in the Tin Saint School before, if possible, I hope you can let them go.

Of course, this is neither a command nor a threat… But in so ways, the Tin Saint School faces the sa situation as you did when facing the Nine Major Schools and those pureblood families… That’s just how this world works.”

Leopold sneered, “Your background has already limited most things. Even as a Fourth Rank Wizard, it’s impossible for to beco a Supre Council mber.”

“You are lucky, Colin, but you’re not that lucky; more troubles are waiting for you ahead…”

Leopold then turned and walked into the crowd.

Shortly after the party started, Colin followed Leopold onto the stage for a brief appearance, then left through a side door.

His departure might have been noticed by so, but it caused no ripples at the party that was supposed to celebrate his councilmanship.

Inside Black Castle.

“Councilman Colin, everything has been handled. You just need to return the School Badge and Golden Feather Token to , and you will be officially disconnected from the School.”

“From now on, you will no longer be subject to the restraints of the Tin Saint School, nor will you enjoy the various privileges of being a mber of the Tin Saint School.”

“Yes.” Colin nodded, he took out the feather-shaped Tin Saint School Badge and the Golden Feather Token from his waist, holding them in his hands, the familiar cold texture was comforting, and after a mont’s hesitation, he handed them both to Reagan who was in front of him.

“Very well, with that, everything has been processed.” Reagan took the badge and the token and disposed of them in Colin’s presence.

Colin watched the scene, feeling sowhat sentintal. He sighed inwardly, then turned and left.

“Let escort you, Councilman Colin,” Reagan followed him.

Colin did not mind, and after leaving Black Castle, chose not to fly; instead, he walked, looking around him.

Tonight was a moonlit night, the smooth stone path under his feet was clearly visible, and the green trees beside it were also covered with a layer of silver gauze, not just a dark mass of silhouette as on ordinary nights.

The night wind brushed past, rustling the branches and leaves, making the silence of the night even more pronounced.

“After tonight, who knows when I will co again.”

As thoughts flowed, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a familiar figure ahead.

“Colin?” Bernie said, sowhat surprised, smiling, “What a coincidence, eting again… Lord Reagan?!”

He stared at the familiar wizard next to Colin and suddenly froze, then quickly bowed respectfully.

“Councilman Colin, do you know Bernie?”

“Yes, I often ran into him when attending classes at the Teaching Castle,” Colin smiled.

“I see,” Reagan nodded, taking a few more glances at Bernie and committing his face to mory.

“Let’s go,” Colin said with a smile.

The sudden appearance of Bernie diluted so of the lancholy in his heart, he rembered the sincere advice Bernie had given him a few days ago… and he wondered what Bernie would think seeing him now.

But after all, it was just a nodding acquaintance, and further conversation might not be fitting.

Colin continued walking forward, with Reagan closely following.

Bernie remained standing there, his mind a muddled ss, until Colin and the other had walked far away but he still hadn’t reacted.

“Colin… Councilman?”

The next day, at the headquarters of the True Knowledge Society.

After a night’s wait, Colin finally waited for Shelley to co out.

Shelley looked tired, massaging his forehead as he ca out the door. Seeing Colin outside, he dropped his hand and smiled slightly, asking,

“Have you officially beco a mber of the Supre Council?”

“Yes.” Colin nodded, pointing to the badge on his chest.

“Congratulations.”

“Thank you.” Colin smiled.

Although he had heard countless congratulations and Shelley was not congratulating him for the first ti, he still smiled every ti he heard it. It was not for any particular reason, but genuine congratulations like this, untainted by anything else, are rare in this world.

“I ca to tell you so news,” he continued, “After becoming a councilman, I will be assigned to govern a region, and I have been assigned to the Tilai Plain.”

“The entire Tilai Plain?” Shelley was taken aback.

“Yes.”

“Didn’t Nois help you?” worry appeared on Shelley’s face, “You are only a Second Rank Wizard, and Tilai Plain has just suffered a divine attack…”

“Nois had no power over this decision; it was determined by a vote,” Colin shook his head, then paused and added, “He has already done plenty for .”

“Let’s leave that aside for now. I have two other things to discuss during this visit.”

“The first thing is—I can help the Chasai Comrce beco the largest chamber of comrce in the entire Tilai Plain and provide the necessary conveniences for the Truth Society. At the sa ti, I need the Truth Society to cooperate with in managing the entire Tilai Plain.”

“The second thing—” Colin paused, “Concerning the pollution of the farmland, I might be able to help…”

Several days later, Atbolde and Lillian returned to Neustadt City.

After a considerable shock, they wasted no ti in deciding to leave the Tin Saint School and follow Colin.

Having dealt with these matters, Colin finally set out on the journey ho, heading back to the Roon Kingdom, his domain.
