"YUKI-NII! WAKE UP! IT IS SIX ALREADY!"
"WAKEY, WAKEY!"
Yuki groaned as he felt a dull impact on his stomach, knowing full well that it was his two little sisters hopping onto it enthusiastically. Honestly, he didn't know how those two got their unlimited energy this early,
"Urgh… Five more minutes…" Yuki just rolled over his bed, ignoring the two tiny girls who were pouting right now.
"No, cannot do, Yuki-nii! You have to wake up no! You have a ga today, right?" One of them shook his body with her tiny hand.
"The ga is still at 8, let sleep for a little bit." Yuki just grunted, covering his face with his pillow. The two little girls were unhappy that their big brother completely ignored them before they whispered at each other and let out a small giggle that should have alard Yuki instantly. As the owner of the room didn't bulge under their wake-up call, the older girl smiled mischievously before pinching the boy straight to the waist. "OUCH! OKAY, OKAY! I WAKE UP NOW!" Yuki jumped on the spot imdiately, glaring at the two little girls who scampered away instantly with full laughter.
"They get you good, huh?" Aiko who coincidentally crossed his room smiled amusedly as the matron saw Yuki rubbing his waist. "Don't worry, I have received the end of it several tis. You will get used to it soon."
"Baasan, I don't want to get used to it!" Yuki groaned, finally fully awake after receiving the end of his little sisters' shenanigan.
"Well, make sure you wake up quickly when the little girls co, right?" Aiko giggled before leaving Yuki grumbled on his bad.
It was Saturday already, the day when the ga between Tsunemori High and Oyama High happened. Just like the usual ga day, Yuki's day would always start with the two youngest girls in the orphanage, Mai and Hina, waking him up excitedly. It took Yuki a minute to regain his soul after being awakened forcefully, and when he was in a better condition, he shuddered imdiately at how cold the weather was.
"Baasan, do you have any plan to put a heater in my room?" Yuki asked as he sat in the kitchen.
"Oh, sorry, Yuki-kun, I have already ordered it from the online shop, but it said the heater would be delivered in the next three days. Sorry, you have to sacrifice yourself in this situation." Aiko said guiltily.
"Hmm… Don't worry, Baasan, I am okay." Yuki grunted as he grabbed the cup full of hot chocolate, sighing in relief as he felt the warmth embracing his body. "I am the only one who doesn't have a heater in my room, right?" He asked, concerned.
After all, a heater was the most important thing to have in the winter. Without it, the children would suffer a lot from the weather, with so having the potential to suffer from hypothermia. So, the main priority should be to give them all the best living conditions possible here.
"Don't worry, there is at least one heater in every room already." Aiko smiled. "The only rooms that haven't had a heater yet are yours and mine, and we will get it in the next three days."
Yuki let out a heavy sigh as he enjoyed the hot chocolate Aiko made for him. A few seconds later, the sound of tiny steps stomping the way through the corridor could be heard echoing throughout the building before Aiko shouted, "DON'T RUN INSIDE THE BUILDING! DON'T WAKE UP YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS!"
"YES, BAACHAN!"
There was silence for a mont before the two little naces who woke Yuki up a while ago suddenly appeared out of nowhere, sitting in the table with their hair still ssy.
"Oh, dear… have you even washed your face first?" Aiko asked, concerned.
"Of course, we have!" The two little girls shouted, affronted. "Who do you think we are, Baachan?"
"Okay, okay, I apologize!" Aiko raised both hands in a surrender manner. "Hina-chan, co here. Let do your hair. Mai-chan, please, let your brother do yours."
In a second, the youngest girl in the building, Mai, hopped onto Yuki's lap while wiggling her body a little to make herself comfortable, letting Yuki do her hair. Fortunately, after living in a building where the majority of its residents were female, he had learned a lot about setting a cute hairstyle, so his hands just automatically moved, starting to brush Mai's hair with a little comb.
"So, where are the others?" Yuki asked, not even turning his head from Mai's hair.
"Well, most of them are still asleep, with only Taro-nii awake and playing his ga. He hushed away from his room right after I entered it." Mai crossed her tiny arms in front of her chest, pouted.
Yuki just chuckled at the cute gesture the girl showed. As he did the little girl's hair, he sohow felt a bit nostalgic at how dostic this atmosphere was. In the sumr, he would always sit in the kitchen whenever he had a ga day, letting himself feel relaxed while his little siblings chatted and laughed with each other. He didn't know why it stopped during this winter tournant, but he determined to change it all in the future.
'I really need to spend more ti with them.' He muttered.
"So, are you sure we can just go and watch your ga today, Yuki?" Aiko suddenly asked, snapping him from his daydreaming.
"Of course, Baasan! Even if the security asked, just tell him that you are my family and co to watch, you will be allowed to enter." Yuki answered nonchalantly.
Yeah, after two days ago, Aiko told him that she and his siblings had nothing to do today, he offered them all to co and watch his ga. While so of them just nodded and made an excuse to not go, most of the children were excited to co and watch their big brighter play. After all, it wasn't often the ga happened in a weekend like this.
"Brother, brother!" Hina's voice suddenly snapped Yuki from his thoughts. "With us watching your ga, you have to win the ga, okay?! Promise !" The girl suddenly offered her pinkies.
"Oh, yeah! too, Yuki-nii!" Mai also turned around and offered her pinkies too.
In return, Yuki just let out a small chuckle, thinking, 'Well, with that kind of support behind , how could I lose?' Before accepting the pinkies and nodding his head solemnly. "Don't worry, I will win this ga. Promise."
