Ivy River grabbed the two little ones and said, “When we get ho, you two will do your howork first. The teacher ntioned that there is howork today, and then you can wash up and go to bed, okay?”
The two little ones responded in unison, “Okay!”
Throughout the whole process, none of the three paid any attention to Edwin Blake.
They chose to completely ignore him.
Edwin was really pissed, feeling like a warm face pressed against a cold butt!
After he helped the Old Lady into the car, he ca back and stood in front of Ivy, staring at her.
Ivy said coldly, “What do you want?”
Edwin frowned and spoke coldly, “I’m here to remind you not to forget that I’m your patient. What ti should I go to the hospital tomorrow?”
“I’ll inform Harry Ross about the arrangents tomorrow. Don’t be anxious. You can’t rush things, and your illness isn’t sothing that can be cured in a day.”
Ivy spoke bluntly.
The two little ones overheard and asked curiously, “Mom, is he sick?”
Edwin imdiately chid in, “Yeah, your mom is your dad’s attending physician. Daddy’s life is entirely in your mom’s hands.”
Fatty snorted coldly but didn’t speak.
Even so, Edwin could sense the thick sarcasm.
Emmy chuckled and asked, “Mom, will his illness be very painful?”
Ivy knew she was up to no good and directly answered, “It might be very painful during later treatnts, but it shouldn’t be a major problem.”
Edwin felt comforted, suddenly feeling like his daughter had grown up.
Emmy nodded and said in her childish voice, “If it’s not too painful, Mom, I hope you can be a little harsher. He should feel what it’s like to be treated.”
“Alright!”
Ivy glanced at the now petrified Edwin and held back a laugh, saying, “Treating patients fairly is Mom’s responsibility. I can’t just hurt patients randomly. Baby, that’s not the right thing to do.”
Hearing this, Edwin’s expression slightly eased.
“But Mom promises you this because Mom loves you. Since you requested it, I’ll reluctantly agree.”

Ivy stopped and turned, “I don’t analyze; I can tell if there’s an issue just by a glance and know how to diagnose it. Why follow ?”
The doctor felt embarrassed by Ivy’s words.
Frozen for a mont, he eventually said, “Sorry, Director River, I wasn’t aware. I’ll go handle my tasks now!”
After speaking, he hurriedly left, blushing furiously.
The surrounding doctors also swiftly dispersed, not daring to linger around Ivy.
Coincidentally, Evelyn King arrived for work.
The two hadn’t seen each other in a while, making this eting feel sowhat awkward.
Ivy nodded at Evelyn, “Doctor King, did Lewis Chadwick inform you about participating in the Traditional Chinese dicine Competition?”

He stood up and instructed Harry, “Adjourn the eting, pack up, we’re heading out.”
Harry quickly began packing.
He knew if the president unhesitatingly stood up, it must be Madam’s call.
Ivy frowned and said, “Are you in a eting? If so, co in the afternoon. I can see you then.”
“No, the eting’s over. Your timing is perfect.”
Ivy replied coldly, “Okay, co directly. No need to register.”
Edwin wanted to say more but saw Ivy had already hung up.
He wasn’t upset, smiled and told everyone, “Your proposals were fine, proceed quickly.”
The managent was astonished.
One quickly asked Harry, “Who just called the president? My proposal was rejected ten tis and now, it’s approved!”
“Right, Harry, tell us, is the president experiencing a new spark of romance? My presentation made sweat, fearing mistakes.”
