Chapter 820: Chapter 839: Peacock (Part 2)

"Are these men perverts? Why do they like watching this kind of show?" Adrian Desmond asked puzzled.

"The people who come here are fed up with life and looking for excitement. As long as you can excite them and make them feel alive, that’s enough..."

In the dark auditorium, someone cheered loudly and threw money onto the stage, which the beauties picked up and tucked into their G-cup chests.

"How do you know both Night Owl and Alice?"

The reason Adrian Desmond gave up staying at the hotel with Sienna Johnson to meet Wayne Manning was because he heard those two names in the hotel.

The name Night Owl isn’t something an ordinary person can know.

"I once told you that I have a younger sister who got lost, do you remember?" Wayne Manning said slowly.

"Don’t tell me, Alice is your sister."

"Yes!"

Adrian frowned at this bizarre twist of fate, "Could there be a mistake?"

Wayne Manning took out a pendant and opened it. Inside was a woman in a long gown. The long gown is similar to the Orientan qipao, but with a high slit.

"Who is she?" Her face looked exactly like Alice’s, and Adrian Desmond vaguely guessed a few things.

"My mother!"

"It’s not impossible for people in this world to look exactly alike. Just because they look the same, you assume she’s your sister? That’s too hasty."

"I trust my instincts."

Adrian let out a cold snort, with a hint of mockery in his tone. Wayne Manning wiped his face and said bitterly, "I’ve been searching for my sister for many years. Now that I finally have a lead, I so hope she is my sister."

"Why not do a paternity test?"

"She’s unwilling."

"You came all the way to Mandanila because of Alice, didn’t you?"

Wayne chuckled lightly, "Did you think it was for your wife?"

"It better not be!"

"I wouldn’t dare touch your woman. I don’t want to be hunted down, like a rat scurrying down the street, hiding all the time."

"Good that you know."

"Tell me about Alice, I’m curious. Does she have a red birthmark on her butt?"

"How would I know if she has a birthmark on her butt?" Adrian said unhappily.

If Sienna Johnson, that little firecracker, heard this, there’s no telling how she’d take it.

"Aren’t you two very close?"

"Alice said that?"

"Yes."

Wayne habitually pulled a cigarette from his pocket and put it in his mouth. He wanted to light it, but seeing Adrian’s warning glance, he refrained.

"I heard her say that when you were planning to escape from Death Island, you agreed to leave together, but in the end, you left her behind..."

As Wayne spoke, an unintentional note of blame crept into his voice, blaming Adrian for not taking Alice with him.

Adrian explained, "We did agree to escape together, but as luck would have it, she was on a mission that day, so I left alone."

"What you did was not loyal."

"Hah, what is loyalty? Staying alive is what’s most important."

There, even one’s own relatives and lovers could be killed without hesitation. Friendship wasn’t worth a dime.

"What do you really want by calling me out here?" Adrian asked.

"Today, I called you out because I hope you can help me. I want Alice freed from that place. My mother always hoped my sister would grow up, marry a man who loves her, and lead a happy life.

Not like now, as a killing machine."

"..."

"Adrian, you got out from that place. I think we can cooperate."

Adrian and Night Owl were enemies, a "you die or I die" type of relationship. If Wayne could help him, that would be ideal.

"Alright."

"How do you plan to deal with Night Owl?"

"My wife is about to give birth. Right now, I don’t have the time to deal with Night Owl. Everything will have to wait until Sienna gives birth."

When Curly was born, Adrian wasn’t by Sienna Johnson’s side, a regret he could never let go of in this lifetime;

For his son’s birth, Adrian wanted to be at Sienna’s side, waiting together for their son to arrive.

So, be it Night Owl or anything else, everything had to take a back seat.

Wayne looked at Adrian’s stern profile, thought for a moment, and finally agreed because his abilities alone were not enough to contend with Night Owl.

"Can you tell me about Alice?"

Adrian declined, saying, "Alice is probably in Southeast Agaia now. If you want to know about her, just go find her. Other than killing together, we’re not really familiar!"

"Adrian, you really are cold-blooded and ruthless!"

"I have to go."

Adrian walked toward the elevator. The gilded elevator doors slowly opened, and he stepped inside and left.

As the elevator closed, a room door opened, and a voluptuous woman stepped out.

...

Mandanila was extremely hot, but after the sun set, it finally got a little cooler.

The Friendship Hotel had an indoor swimming pool. Sienna Johnson had slept too much during the day and couldn’t fall asleep, so she went for a few laps.

Sabrina Conner and Barnes Smythe, under Adrian’s instructions to protect Sienna, followed along.

Barnes couldn’t swim, but Sabrina kept Sienna company in the pool.

"I never thought a pregnant woman could swim so fast!"

Sienna floated on her back on the water’s surface, gently paddling like a mermaid.

Sienna proudly said, "In high school, I participated in the student swimming competition in Sileria City. I was the champion."

"Student swimming competition champion, so impressive," Sabrina mocked.

"I was the most beautiful student swimming competition champion!"

Sabrina: ...
