Xia Shangzhou searched every single place that Lin Jiayi liked to go, frequented, and possibly visited, but he still couldn’t find her.

Xia Shangzhou knew that Lin Jiage was right, and he was well aware that the security in the capital had always been very good. She was wearing a black gown and a pair of sky-high heels. She stood by the roadside, glancing at the clubhouse door from ti to ti as though she was waiting for soone to co out.
It was sumr now, so it wasn’t too cold at night. However, she had probably been standing there in her high heels for a long ti, so her feet weren’t feeling too well. She would change her stance frequently, and from ti to ti, she would even bend down to rub her calf.
Upon seeing this sight, Xia Shangzhou didn’t hesitate to slam on the brakes.
He unbuckled his seatbelt and swiftly jumped out of the car. Without even calling out her na, he dashed to the back of the car, opened the trunk, and took out a pair of comfortable slippers.
He pressed the lock on the trunk and grabbed the slippers. Just as he was about to walk over to Lin Jiayi, he saw Lin Jiayi pacing back and forth at the entrance of the clubhouse. Suddenly, as if she had seen a ray of hope, her eyes lit up, she seed to be anxious about sothing. After a mont of hesitation, she lifted her foot and stomped on the ground, heading straight for the entrance of the clubhouse.
Lin Jiayi was usually a person of high spirits and ferocity. It was rare for her to be so hesitant.
Seeing the look on her face, Xia Shangzhou frowned slightly. Instinctively, he stopped in his tracks and turned his gaze to the direction she was heading to.
