Leng Nuan seed to have received a great shock. She struggled even harder, and even her body began to tremble.
As Lu Benlai’s face got closer and closer, her body trembled more and more violently. She tried her best to restrain herself from opening her mouth, and there were pleading words on her lips, very, very softly, she said, “Let go... Please let go... Let Go...”

Leng Nuan was so scared that tears were flowing out of the corners of her eyes. The panicked words in her mouth gradually changed into a scream.

He opened his eyes and saw her face filled with tears, as well as the repulsion, disgust, hatred, and fear flowing out from between her brows.
Repulsion, disgust, hatred... Lu Benlai stared at her brows for a while, and as if he had suddenly lost his strength, the force of his fingers on her wrist suddenly disappeared.
She easily broke free from him, as if he was a ferocious beast. She took a few steps back and pulled the distance between them far away before she stopped.
She did not even look at him again. She only hugged her arm and leaned against the wall, shivering.
This made his heart ache and uncomfortable.

He could clearly hear her soft sobs. He really wanted to comfort her, but he knew that if he got up, she would only be more panicked and scared.
He stared out of the window for a while, then pretended to be drunk and fell asleep on the table.
After a long ti, the sobs finally disappeared. He heard her footsteps. It was very soft and timid. He looked at him for a while and made sure that he was really asleep. Then he walked out of the room, after a while, she brought the waiter back and sent him to the car.
Throughout the whole process, not only did she care about him, she even got close to him.
When she arrived at his place, she had already called his assistant in advance.
Just like when she ca out of the bar, she still did not get close to him. She only asked her assistant to send him upstairs.
After he lay on the bed, she handed him a cup of hangover soup. Then, she said that she still had sothing to do and asked her assistant to take care of him. Then, she left in a hurry.
When he heard the door close in the living room, he opened his eyes.
When the assistant saw him, he imdiately took the soup and said, “CEO Lu, this is the soup that sister Leng just made for you. have so...”
Lu Benlai glanced at the soup in his assistant’s hand but didn’t take it. Instead, he looked up at the clock on the wall. It was almost one o’clock in the morning, he said to his assistant, “It’s getting late. You should go back and rest...”
