Shi Yao didn’t say anything else. She stood rooted to the spot for a mont before pointing to the bedroom. After which, she gestured for Lin Jiage to go to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his hair.
By the ti she was done tidying herself up, the waiter had already delivered Lin Jiage’s order, along with her and his dirty clothes from last night.
After breakfast, Lin Jiage and Shi Yao didn’t linger in the room for too long. They imdiately checked out of the room and left.
Lin Jiage had driven over yesterday. Before he went downstairs, he had called the front desk, and soone had already brought his car to the front door. As such, the mont Lin Jiage and Shi Yao stepped out of the hotel, they imdiately got into the car.
Lin Jiage and Shi Yao didn’t have much to talk about, so the car was very quiet. Other than the low-volu music coming from the car radio, there was no other sound.
The Beijing Grand Hotel was located in the most bustling area, and it was also the place with the most traffic. Lin Jiage stepped on the brakes and stepped on the accelerator from ti to ti. Even after busying himself for half an hour, he only managed to get from the second ring road to the Third Ring Road.
An hour later, as the car sped out of the Fifth Ring Road and headed out of the city, Shi Yao couldn’t help but ask, “Where are we going?”

About half a minute after she finished speaking, he turned his head to look at her and replied, “We’ll be there in about an hour.”
Shi Yao replied with an ‘Oh’, and the car fell silent once more.
Perhaps it was because she didn’t get enough sleep last night, or perhaps it was because the car was too quiet, she felt a little bored. Leaning against the back of the car, she stared out the window, and Shi Yao fell asleep once more.
By the ti she woke up, the car had already stopped.
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Lin Jiage was currently looking at his phone.
Sensing her movents, he glanced in her direction before putting away his phone. “You’re Awake?”
Before Shi Yao could say a word, he had already pushed open the car door and said, “Just in ti. It’s about ti. Let’s go have lunch.”
It was only after Shi Yao alighted from the car that she realized that Lin Jiage had brought her to a farmhouse. She had been to this farmhouse before, and it was at the end of last sester’s finals when Lin Jiage invited her over to Changming Mountain, the farmhouse where they had lunch.
Is this the place where Lin Jiage asked to accompany him?
Shi Yao frowned slightly as she followed Lin jiage into the farmhouse.
A waiter ca over to welco them, but before Lin Jiage and Shi Yao could find seats, Lin Jiage had already pointed to a seat by the window and asked, “Is that alright?”
The waiter nodded in agreent.
It was only after Shi Yao sat down that she suddenly recalled that the last ti she and Lin jiage ca here for a al, they had also sat in the sa seat..
