Even though Shi Yao was well aware that all of this was real and not a fignt of her imagination, she still found it a little hard to believe. In fact, she found it a little hard to accept. She stared at her phone screen for quite so ti, after which, she lightly typed out a line of words and sent it out: [ Lin Jiage, are you... sure that you’re not playing a prank on ? ]
Lin jiage: “Do I look like soone who has nothing better to do?”
She’s not in his head. How does she know if he’s bored?
Shi Yao had just finished muttering these words in her heart, on the screen ca a new ssage: “You can refuse my confession, but you can not question my sincerity, you really hurt, you know this is my first ti!”
My first ti? Does he even know how to use words?
Shi Yao’s face reddened slightly before she continued thinking.

Alright then... if he’s sincere, it seems like I’ve gone a little overboard to question him over and over again..

She couldn’t help but heave a sigh of relief. Just as she was about to put down her phone, it suddenly rang.
Shi Yao instinctively looked at the caller ID on her phone.

The phone kept ringing, and Shi Yao stretched out her leg to kick the phone even further away.
The phone finally stopped ringing.
Shi Yao patted her chest lightly. Before her heart could recover, her phone rang once more.

Shi Yao struggled for a long ti before she weakly reached out to pick up her phone. Shaking her fingers, she pressed the answer button.

This word... was so ambiguous that it made Shi Yao even more nervous.
Even though it hadn’t been that long, the silence between the two sides was unbearable for her. Shi Yao hadn’t replied yet, or perhaps, Lin Jiage didn’t intend to give her a chance to reply. After asking her a question, he paused for two seconds before asking, “Shi Yao?”
He suddenly called out her na, and she instinctively replied with an ‘hmm?’.
