Chapter 446: 445

Five L85A1 assault rifles aid squarely at Ye Tian.

My goodness, all British-made, this move is no joke.

Facing five pairs of vigilant eyes, Ye Tian didn’t make any reckless moves. He was aweso himself, but these guys were no slouches either; they were ard, after all. The reason why the Dogleg Curved Knife from Nepal carved out its place in the military knife world wasn’t just for its rugged, fierce design, but more importantly, its intrinsic fierceness. Could a nation that forged the Dogleg Curved Knife be a nation that lets itself be bullied?

Seeing this man raise his hands indicated he understood English, so a soldier continued to ask, “Who are you, and where are you from?”

Ye Tian put on a pitiful expression, “I ended up here being chased by bad guys, I an no offense to your country.”

“Hmph, were you thrown down here by the bad guys?”

Disbelief plastered across the soldier’s face.

Ye Tian was at a loss for words; they weren’t fools, probably had started watching him the mont he fell from the ice.

“Move!”

Three soldiers surrounded Ye Tian, their guns pointed at his body, fingers on the trigger. They were seasoned warriors, defending the border required constant vigilance against shadowing, be it cross-border drug traffickers or smuggling rings, fighting was inevitable. Even without fighting, just enduring the harsh weather was enough to spark aggressiveness.

Ye Tian didn’t want to start a confrontation, so he just surrendered.

A soldier, maybe having a brain-fart, smashed his rifle butt all of a sudden. Ye Tian, clutching his head, crouched on the slippery ice, losing balance, and slid to the ground.

Seeing Ye Tian fall, they started pumling him with punches and kicks, landing solid blows.

Ye Tian lay there, cradling his head, not resisting. A few punches wouldn’t kill him; it was better than getting shot.

Suddenly, the beating stopped.

That was fast, had they had enough already?

Looking up, all five were down on the ground, motionless. Then he saw it was Chu Tianying.

“Captain, you ca after all.”

Chu Tianying was in a good mood, his tone sowhat excited; having Ye Tian join him would make dominating the rcenary world a breeze, no ordinary person could understand Ye Tian’s abilities nor could they imagine it.

Ye Tian noticed other people beside Chu Tianying, all tall Caucasians, fully ard with gear that was rare in the international market. Particularly the two-ter-tall Caucasian hulking over a Barrett sniper rifle, its barrel clearly custom-modified. Modifying the barrel required modifying the bullets, which required modifying the chamber and rifling—a chain of modifications not any novice could achieve but only a master craftsman.

None of them were ordinary at all!

Chu Tianying turned and took a backpack from one of the Caucasians and handed it to Ye Tian, “This is yours, right? There aren’t any Huaxia rcenaries here; it must be yours.”

Ye Tian took the backpack, then stuffed the rope and wedge back in, asking without looking up, “You working here?”

“Not yet.”

“Run into trouble?”

“A bit of trouble. I’m looking for a solution, but now that you’re here, Captain, I think it should be much easier.” Chu Tianying’s tone seed to be buttering Ye Tian up.

Ye Tian zipped up and then slung his backpack over his shoulders.

“I never said I wanted to join you,” Ye Tian looked left and right, surrounded by vast glaciers, “I’m just here to have a look around, might even find so fun stuff.”

“Captain, I’ve followed you for so many years, do you still want to fool ? If you weren’t here to find , you wouldn’t have used the things I left for you. These ropes, I left them for you, and those glacier wedges, they all have the United States Martin company’s na and shipping numbers on them.”

Ye Tian gave him a blank look, “Boring. I’m just sponsoring as a friend. Don’t tell them I’ve joined you. This industry is very exclusive, I don’t want to suffer their disdain.”

“Welco!”

Chu Tianying reached out for a handshake, but Ye Tian ignored him and walked past him, shouldering his backpack.

Riding in the car, the group arrived in Kathmandu. Chu Tianying was driving, Ye Tian sat in the passenger seat, and the back seat was cramd with three Caucasians.

Rolling down the window, outside were Nepali people wearing their ethnic attire, watching the bustling crowd, Ye Tian said, “You really are bold, daring to operate right under their noses, aren’t you afraid of getting wiped out in one go?”

“There’s a saying in Huaxia, ‘it’s darkest under the lamp,’ besides, the place was chosen by the employers, no worries.”

Hearing this, Ye Tian seed to catch on, “Political matters?”

“Yeah. Political rivals. Eliminate one, and another rises to power.”

“You guys better be careful.”

That tone, completely putting himself on the sidelines.

One of the Caucasians in the back seat obviously understood Huaxia, muttered under his breath, “We don’t need idle people here.”

Ye Tian turned back, that guy was giving him a disdainful look.

“Wow, since when was Huaxia so popular that even the big guns are learning it on their own? When I was a kid, I was forced to learn English by my teachers.”

“Kid, watch your mouth!”

The three Caucasians in the back row had a tense look, their handguns already drawn from their waists. They were just short of loading a bullet into Ye Tian’s head.

“Bro, this is a crowded district, if you dare to shoot in the head, I’ll kneel down and call you ‘grandpa’! If you don’t dare to shoot, you’re nothing but a grandson to !”

The Caucasian, although he could understand Huaxia, a string of Huaxia tied together especially mixed with Beijing accent and Sichuan flavor made it not so quick for him to comprehend, and though he didn’t understand, watching Ye Tian’s irritating expression, even a fool knew he wasn’t saying anything nice.

“Fuck you!”

A silver Desert Eagle was instantly raised, pointed straight at Ye Tian’s head, but fortunately, the two next to him quickly pressed his arm down, looks like there were still so sober ones.

“Bro, don’t be so impulsive,” Ye Tian sat in the passenger seat unmoved, “The Desert Eagle packs a punch, but it also has a high failure rate, and the one you’re holding is clearly for decorative purpose, so don’t flaunt it here. Stare, what are you glaring at, if there’s a bullet in there, I’ll eat it right away!”
