Akira’s POV:

’To be honest, at first, I thought he was just a suspicious man who was likely to be the demon lord. But after investigating his background thoroughly, he turned out to be soone pretty serious. Should I kill him? Should I recruit him as my subordinate?’

Akira’s mind was filled with thoughts as he began to walk outside the town wall. He gazed at the vast landscape with the setting sun and covered his face with his black robe.

The long muddy road seed pretty long to him.

’Why would he stay outside the town wall and live in a small house near the forest? Is he an introvert? No, I don’t think so...’

He looked at the map again and pointed his index finger at the map provided by the black guild.

He took a deep breath and cast an acceleration spell on his boots.

His leather boots started to spark with small electric waves and then whoosh...

Within a minute, he crossed a few miles away from the town wall and reached.

’I wonder how he wakes up everyday and runs this long to reach the academy without breaking a sweat. No matter how powerful he is, running this long distance everyday damn day seems too much for .

Why doesn’t he just move into the town? Is he lacking money or sothing? Or that house is just his secret hideout?’

After reaching the small house near a forest, he felt sothing oozing from it. The house had 4 people in it but for so reason, it had no hint of warmth.

Since sensing mana was one of his skills, he saw there was nothing but cold inside the house. Those people who were living inside weren’t ordinary people. They were all strong, their mana core was above any ordinary human can have.

Not to ntion, that person who was near the window was more cold and odd than any of them. It was his teacher, Viktor.

He imdiately knew whose aura it was and decided to knock on the door after gulping down a mouth full of saliva.

Knock knock knock...!!!

A little after he knocked on the door, a lady with no expression on her face opened the door slightly.

"Who are you?" Behind the chain lock, she glared right into his eyes and again asked, "What do you want?"

"Um, Is professor North here?"

"Wait here."

Akira stood there without moving an inch in deep thought and then, soone opened the door. With a smile, that man greeted him.

’But after listening to his story, I beca worried for my life. Who knew the king whom we trust so much was hiding his disgusting face under his saint-like smile?

It wasn’t just us, hero summon wasn’t unordinary on Erok. Or should I say it was common? Before a few centuries, all kingdoms used to summon heroes from other worlds. The summoning rate was so high that slowly, it beca a huge population.

But the Elven army destroyed everything they bought with themselves while summoning and killing them. They say that Heroes are parasites. They should go back if their job was done.

Thus, a small number of heroes stayed alive and lived alone in the forest to stay alive.

Well, that was 600 years ago and I doubt their granddaughter is alive.

Not only that, the king lied to us, they are not guiding us better or warning us to be aware of the system and act like it should order.

This is a total ss!!’

Akira kicked a small pebble in his path and then, it flew and hit a broken carriage. He didn’t even notice its presence because he was lost in his deep thoughts.

But now that he had seen it, he was rather surprised than disgusted by the gore scenery.

It was the corpse of one of his classmates’ maid, rotting beside the road.

They made the spot look like a monster attack but he knew what was going on. He knew every maid of the palace, where they live, their family, lover, secret occupation, everything.

So her situation didn’t match with any possible outco he was thinking.

’Why Sia’s dead body is here? I’m sure she took a week’s vacation for illness but in reality, she was in charge of collecting information of the Southern Duke’s house in secret. The saint has a crush on the Duke’s son but the crown prince is better because he got riches.

Compared to him, the young lord is handso so she’s still facing trouble choosing between them.

What a greedy woman...’

Akira sighed after looking at the rotten flesh and complained, "Look at , feeling nothing after looking at a dead body. Man, just what kind of cold-hearted person I’ve turned into."

Akira shook his head and followed the path towards the town wall. He then showed his ID to the guard and entered the noble section.

"Looks like I need to contact Makoto now. That’s the only person I can trust with the information I just got from professors. After our long conversation, we will decide whom we will save and kill. We can’t just make 5 of those power-hungry nerds back to their senses just from lecturing them once. We need more than that. But before that, we need to find out where those books are."

...

Viktor’s POV:

’That brat is finally gone...’

Viktor took a deep breath and went inside his dinsion room through the dark door. The dinsion room was in dark mode, filled with dim lights floating around.

The flowers hanging from the ceiling reached the floor because it had been a long ti since he took care of them. But cutting them wasn’t worth his ti.

He ignored them and entered the section where he was building a nectar machine. He turned on the light in his spacious white room that had lights in every inch.

He then closed the door and walked near the giant machine.

"Radium, turn on."

Out of nowhere, a white dot appeared and after loading a few seconds, it gained its holographic shape and greeted Viktor.

^Good evening, master. Radium is back online.^

’A few years ago when I was pretty bored, I decided to make so talking toys out of curiosity. I looked through the internet and found out there were several movies that had talking robots. They almost talked like humans and possessed programd emotions.

So I wanted to make one too by following this movie called ’WALL-E’, a classic one.

I took so tals out of my dinsion pocket, selected a design from two hundred and put one infinite mana stone as its battery.’

’Yes, an infinite mana stone.’

’Radium may look like a small floating fat silver and white cat with a glowing white tail. But it has ’near human mory features’ installed in its mory. Not only that, it can do ’Pew Pew Pew’ or should I say, shoot compressed mana bullets from its paws. Since it has an infinite mana stone as its power source, I don’t have to worry about changing its battery.’

’But my curiosity grew more that I wanted to experint more. To make an all-in-one fat cat robot, I gave it a chance to download everything the internet has to offer back on Earth. Even if it was an international top-secret, Radium has all in its mory stored.

To be precise, she ate everything from the internet and left a hard copy before coming inside my dinsion room.

But there was sothing dangerous about Radium. Since my twin brother was a demigod of knowledge, ssing with Radium, a Bioweapon wasn’t a hard task for him.

To prevent that, I cast a block, a barrier spell on Radium’s whole tal body.

But I kept it inside because there was no need for it. I did it for fun and ended up creating a weapon that ti.

But then I realised sothing.

Why don’t I just use it as my nectar machine preparing aid? So I stayed up all night programming everything from top to bottom and gave it its new na, Radium.

This is how so random talking fat cat beca my assistant to help make the nectar machine.’

Viktor cleared his throat and said, "How’s the machine?"

^After processing the 130 blueprints you sent in my mory, only 3 of them have a 50% chance of operating. Others have blown up, didn’t turn on and lted due to the over power supply in the core machine.^

"Show the 3 blueprints you selected."

The fat floating cat swished its paw to its left and three floating screens appear in front of Viktor along with the machine’s 3D model hologram.

But the size of those machines was huge and they only had a 50% chance to make a nectar potion properly.

Viktor shook his head and said, "Radium, none of them can make a nectar potion. They will just waste raw materials."

^But they are my (AI) built blueprints based on the items you selected. I need more controllers to perfectly create a machine. Master, why are you lazing around?^

"-_-... Oi, shut up, battery head."

The fat cat started to float over Viktor’s head in circles and said, ^Master, why don’t you just let eat the tower program that GOD has created? I can ss up with its link so you don’t have to worry about anything. I can delete the program if I notice sothing dangerous. How about that?^

"How can a fat cat fight against the system a god created? You might get deleted by the system as a bug if you try to interfere."

Viktor then typed sothing on a floating keyboard in the language he created by himself and again said, "Radium, I want you to examine this small programd cube and break its firewall. It’s a copy of the system this avatar body has."

The program Viktor had typed turned into a small cube and slowly it approached Radium.

^Wuuu master, what is this red-looking glowing cube thingy? Can I eat it?^

It wagged its tail and kicked the floating cube like a cat was playing with a ball.

"Yes, but make sure your connection to your main core is off. It might eat or take over your system."

Viktor then looked at his floating screen and agaim said, "Now, eat it."

^Yes!!^
