Adonis’s POV:
’It’s been 2 days since my master went inside the tower to challenge the floors. I was told that I should take care of the other mbers of our group but without his presence, it feels like our family is incomplete, feeling the lack of leadership. A few months ago, my master woke up from his 10 years of deep sleep and then we ca to Helsia after 3 weeks of naming ceremony.
I know it’s been only a few months but it feels like he just woke up yesterday. I’ve lived a long life but 10 years felt so long. Moreover, he’s going to be absent for more than 50 years so I don’t know how I am going to spend my ti.
My master has given so much work. From cleaning all the dungeons to cultivating my divine Qi, level up my Qi stage and take care of this group of idiots, especially Ifrit.
My master also has given Kobayashi 10 infinite mana stones as an advance paynt for our safety and personal training from Kobayashi. But still, I feel sad and empty.
I think I am still weak, incompetent and vulnerable.’
Adonis went to Kobayashi’s palace with the others to rest. His mind was in so much clouds that he didn’t even notice Kobayashi staring at his face with his bright green eyes wide open. He then said, "Adonis, wasn’t it? What are you thinking about so hard?"
Adonis ca back to his senses. He then answered, "Oh, Lord Kobayashi. Pardon my rudeness."
"Ah, it’s okay. I am interested in your master so I wanted to ask sothing."
"Please, go ahead."
"How did he manage to make such pure mana stones artificially? These are ten tis better than the pure ones found in the realm of gods."l
"I’m sorry, master doesn’t share such information with . This is sothing that I won’t even dare to ask."
Kobayashi was using his truth-detecting skill to tell if he was telling the truth or not. Turns out, he was actually telling the truth. Viktor had never shared any information about how to make the mana stone, what were the ingredients and what was the manufacturing process. He just gave Adonis one mana stone as his monthly paynt after he woke up from his deep sleep. Since early money, gold had no value outside of the mortal world, he decided to give Adonis one mana stone per month and a bottle of a mysteries potion. He doesn’t even know how to use the potion or its properties of it. So he kept it hidden deep inside his dinsion room.
Kobayashi then said, "Then can you tell how he made you, a powerful demigod, his servant? You and Viktor are nearly on the sa level. If you cultivate more, you can beco a more powerful god than him."
"That will be wonderful."
Kobayashi was confused to hear his statent. So he asked again, "Why? Why would it be wonderful if you beco more powerful than him? Are you going to stop being his servant and get your revenge?"
"No, it’s quite the opposite. If I beco stronger, I can save him more effectively. I won’t have to see and touch his cold dead body again in my arms. I won’t have to dig a grave deep into a carter to bury him." Adonis gave off a soft smile to Kobayashi and again said, "I personally choose to beco a great god so I can ensure his safety. He is my saviour and my creator after all."
"What?"
"I am soone who’s called a ’Taboo creation.’ I guess I don’t have to explain what that is, right?"
Taboo creation.
It is a taboo magic when the magician creates sothing that has no permission to co into existence. When an object is created without the power of a divine Qi aura, it’s called a taboo creation and the magician who created it will be punished in hell forever.
Before Viktor beca a demigod with divine Qi, he was a naless demigod with a cheat called ’Record books’. It was more like a glitch in the system that allowed him to erase soone’s mories or write new ’fake’ mories that didn’t exist before.
Even without his power, he still had the ability to write soone’s future unknowingly and that’s how Adonis ca into existence.
Adonis was supported to die because of his destructive curse and his soul was supposed to vanish into the void but Viktor broke the law of nature. He saved a soul that wasn’t supposed to be saved. Thus, he created a taboo soul and let him beco his servant right after his curse was lifted.
Viktor stopped his soul from getting vanished and gave him a na, made a contract and that’s how a taboo soul was created.
Adonis was a taboo creation until he went through his godly naming ceremony in the underworld. Now, he’s a demigod who holds the most destructive power.
The more he will cultivate, the more terrifying he will beco.
Kobayashi was surprised to hear that Adonis was a taboo creation. He knew what that was so he again asked, "Just what kind of person Viktor is? Creating soone on the sa level as a demigod? This is unbelievable. How much did he sacrifice to create you? I can’t even create a cat with my current power, let alone a demigod."
"He burned his hands and his feet."
Kobayashi was speechless when he heard that. He then said, "Well, if he knows how to create you, I guess creating so infinite mana stone is nothing. I should’ve treated him well when I first t him. Maybe I might get so more of these. Ah... my luck."
Adonis looked at his sulking expression and asked, "You can ask my master, he is super kind so I think he will give more if you’re behaving well."
Adonis turned the page of his book and again said, "Last ti I asked him for a watch, he gave a ti-accelerating one along with my monthly paynt. It was so expensive that I was trembling to put it on."
"Wait, he pays you?" Kobayashi was surprised.
"I’m a servant, so it’s natural for him to express so gratitude. He even cooks als every weekend. Sadly, I won’t be able to taste his food for 50 years."
A servant of Kobayashi accidentally slipped so words from his mouth after hearing Adonis’s words. He said, "I have never received any paynt from my lord-_-."
Kobayashi ignored his servant’s glare in embarrassnt and asked Adonis, "That ti acceleration watch, how does it work?"
"It’s a secret. It’s like my life savings so I can’t even show it to anyone. If you ask my master, he can give you one or a better one. He’s the master of creating magic items."
’I should shut my mouth now because I feel like I’m under his influence. If I speak too much, I’m afraid that sothing very important will slip through my lips. Instead, I must ask him to start our training as soon as he can. A thousand dungeons isn’t a plaything.’
Adonis then cleared his throat and said, "Lord Kobayashi, Can you tell about your companion nad Ikamon? What kind of great god is he? When I saw him a few days ago, he looked at like he wanted to swallow alive."
"Looks like you’ve investigated so of my friends. But I will tell you since you are my saviour’s servant. He is the great god of phobias. He attacks ntally so I will advise you to ignore his eyes. Even I ignore making eye contact with him when we are talking."
Adonis was flabbergasted to hear there were gods of ntal disorders. He then asked Kobayashi about the other gods and he found out that there are more than one hundred million gods and demigods that exist in the sky realms. Most of them are titleless gods and they are on the sa level as immortals. So of them even serve other gods just like he serves Viktor.
’The sky realm is interesting. To think that most of them don’t have titles. Welis even has a title even though she is not a demigod. She can also beco a demo-goodness of black magic if she cultivates but I don’t think my master would like it. My master might act as if he cares about Welis but in reality, he wants her to die and vanish. She has the mories of that person after all. That girl called Elena’s mories and he’s not quite sure which of the person’s personalities is leading her body. He still checks her record to find out which one of her personalities is leading and always keeps her under surveillance. Also, he enjoys it so much that he left Elena’s mories intact.’
’He still wants to kill her but killing her would make things easy for her. Death is like an easy-going ticket to my master.’
Adonis shook his head and said, "I will try my best. But for now, tell when we will start our training. We can’t waste any ti."
"Your training starts tomorrow. Don’t forget to bring Ifrit and Mors. Leave Welis because she isn’t a demigod. She’s an immortal."
"So our training starts tomorrow. I’m looking forward to it."
