TAP—
Kaiser and Viktor stepped into the Silver Prize Room without much thought.
And the mont they got through the door—
They froze.
"...!"
Their eyes widened almost simultaneously as they took in the sight before them. The two glanced at each other, a mix of disbelief and awe painting their expressions, then looked around the massive space again.
The Silver Prize Room was enormous—several tis larger than the Copper Prize Room they had grown used to.
The floor was polished and the walls were smooth too.
Then—
"Kaiser, look."
"Huh?"
Their eyes were drawn imdiately to the long table at the center of the room. There are a few other tables inside the room, but they didn’t pay much attention to them.
Anyway, on that table—there was a feast.
Not the bland, rugged als they had back in Copper, no—this was on another level entirely. There were large servings of roasted at, glistening with juices and garnished with vegetables. Baskets of freshly baked bread. Golden-brown poultry. Bowls of thick stew and creamy soup. And on the far side—desserts. Cakes with delicate frosting, and sothing that looked suspiciously like chocolate.
Viktor was the first to break the silence.
"I’m glad I haven’t eaten breakfast yet."
"Sa."
Kaiser followed imdiately.
And after that, they didn’t waste another second.
Tap- tap- tap—
Tap- tap- tap—
Without further ado, the two of them marched up to the long table.
And as soon as they got there—
"Let’s eat."
"Yeah."
They began devouring everything they could get their hands on! Viktor took a plate and loaded it high and dug in without any sha! While Kaiser was slightly more reserved at first... but that didn’t last long!
"This... This is really chocolate..."
Kaiser muttered with his mouth half-full.
"Try this sweet bread."
Viktor said between bites, already reaching for his third slice. He was eating a cake, he doesn’t know what it’s called.
And with that, two ate like they’d been starving for days—which, given what they’d gone through, wasn’t entirely untrue. It wasn’t just hunger—they were rewarding themselves. They earned this.
And for now, they would enjoy it.
Though, as they were eating...
"..."
"..."
Their mont of bliss was interrupted by a sudden, sharp sensation.
Stares.
Kaiser and Viktor both paused mid-bite, subtle tension settling on their shoulders. They’d been so focused on the food that they hadn’t even noticed the presence of others in the room.
Without making it obvious, the two of them shifted their eyes around discreetly.
And just as expected—
Four people were sitting on the far side of the room in a different food table, each dressed in different gear—so armored, so in lighter, sleek clothes—but all of them had one thing in common: they were glaring directly at Kaiser and Viktor.
Their expressions varied—disdain, annoyance, curiosity—but one thing was clear.
They weren’t thrilled to see the two new arrivals stuffing themselves like they owned the place.
Kaiser slowly chewed what was left in his mouth, then glanced at Viktor.
Viktor caught the look, raised a brow, then returned it with a very slight nod.
’We can take them.’
Viktor thought, lips curling into a half-smile.
And as if reading his mind—
’Yeah, true.’
Kaiser replied inwardly with the faintest shrug of his shoulders.
Then, casually, they both turned back to the table and continued eating.
They didn’t raise their voices, didn’t puff their chests, didn’t even acknowledge the silent hostility anymore. It just wasn’t worth the energy—not when the roasted chicken still needed finishing.
Across the room, the four others exchanged glances, clearly irritated by being ignored so completely. One of them scoffed and crossed his arms. Another muttered sothing under his breath.
But in the end—they did nothing.
They just frowned and turned away. Maybe it was the confidence the two radiated. Or maybe... they could sense it too.
The two reeks trouble.
Moving on, after that—a few minutes had passed...
The two were already halfway into demolishing a roast boar leg and a full tray of honeyed bread... When they noticed soone approaching them.
Tap- tap- tap—
A man in his early 30s, wearing a sharp, formal outfit, stepped out from one of the smaller doors connected to the main Silver Prize Room. He didn’t co from the table where the four other gladiators were gathered—no, this man moved differently, held himself with quiet purpose, and carried a clipboard tucked neatly under one arm.
Kaiser glanced at him mid-chew.
’A servant, huh.’
He thought.
Viktor glanced too, already having co to the sa conclusion.
They both turned back to their plates and continued eating.
The man, undeterred by the lack of formal acknowledgnt, simply smiled politely and stopped a few steps away from them.
"Good morning."
He greeted the two, voice calm and professional.
"I am Jed, one of the attendants assigned to oversee the Silver Prize Room and assist Silver Rank Fighters with their benefits and rewards."
Kaiser nodded without looking up. Viktor just raised a hand in a lazy wave as he finished chewing.
Jed didn’t seem offended at all. If anything, he looked amused.
"I understand you two just arrived today—congratulations, by the way. Your promotion has been noted. Once you’re done eating, I’ll guide you through everything you need to know. And of course, introduce you to your rewards."
Kaiser raised an eyebrow at that but still didn’t stop eating.
Jed glanced at the still half-full table and chuckled softly.
"No rush. I’ll be right over there when you’re ready."
With that, he gave them a polite nod and took a few steps back, waiting patiently nearby.
Viktor leaned slightly toward Kaiser and mumbled.
"At least the guy’s got manners."
Kaiser nodded faintly, eyes still on the at.
"Better than the glares we got earlier."
And so, they kept eating—more relaxed now that the tension in the room was slowly dying down. The real rewards were still waiting.
*****
Viktor and Kaiser finished eating not long after. They didn’t stop until they were completely full.
Satisfied, the two stretched their body a bit, exchanging a small nod before turning their attention to Jed.
"We’re ready."
Viktor said.
Kaiser just gave a small shrug.
Jed, who had been patiently waiting a short distance away, stepped forward with a pleasant smile. He looked down at the clipboard in his hand, eyes scanning it quickly.
"Kaiser and Viktor, am I right?""
He asked.
Both of them nodded in unison.
"Got it."
Jed replied, tapping his quill lightly against the paper. He quickly found their nas!
"You both received fifty battle points each, including the bonuses granted from your promotion. Congratulations."
He glanced up at them again with that sa professional smile.
"Those points are now credited to your nas. You can use them however you see fit, and because of your promotions, you two now have better access to good—equipnt, training grounds, elixirs, and many more. I’ll walk you through so of the highlights if you’d like."
Jed explained.
"..."
Kaiser and Viktor were speechless, they we’re surprised.
I an, 50 battle points in one go? The average battle points Copper Rank Fighters gets per fight is 10-15 BP!
’If Manny was here and he heard that I got fifty battle points, he would be tweaking lol...’
Kaiser thought.
(Manny is the servant that assists him back in the Copper Prize Room.)
Kaiser still have 10 battle points left currently, so plus 50... He now has 60 BP!
’I would be able to buy a lot of things... Better things...’
He thought, a smile slowly creeping up his face.
...
...
...
After Jed inford them about their battle points, he led Kaiser and Viktor into another room connected to the main Silver Prize Room.
Inside the new room, they were greeted by rows of square tables, each covered with white cloths. On top of each table were neatly arranged items—equipnt, weapons, armor pieces, and miscellaneous belongings.
That’s right, the two will now be choosing one item from their fallen or defeated opponents’ belongings.
Viktor was up first.
Jed guided them both toward a table marked with Yin’s na.
On it were several weapons, a few well-made accessories, so personal training gear... But Viktor didn’t hesitate for long. After briefly inspecting what was available, he reached out and picked up a solid, black, 10-kilogram dumbbell made of tal.
"This’ll be good to get my blood flowing in the mornings."
Viktor said with a satisfied nod.
Jed blinked once, mildly surprised. It’s understandable why.
"Are you sure this is the item you want, sir? There are so high-quality weapons and accessories among these."
"Yeah."
Viktor confird with a grin.
"This one’s perfect... I can’t use Yin’s weapons and I don’t need accessories."
He added.
Jed simply smiled and jotted sothing down on his clipboard.
"Understood. I’ll have soone deliver it to your new room later."
"Appreciate it."
Viktor replied.
"How’s Yin doing, by the way?"
The he casually asked that like Yin was his friend!
"Alive. He’s currently in recovery. Might be out of the arena for a while, but he’ll pull through."
Not caring much, Jed answered quickly.
Viktor simply nodded his head after hearing that.
Moving on, with that settled—Jed turned toward Kaiser.
"Your turn."
Kaiser didn’t say anything. He simply gave a small nod, and Jed motioned for him to follow.
...
...
Kaiser and Viktor were led to another table—this one with a different na displayed: Edmar.
And so, Kaiser stepped forward to choose his reward.
He saw a lot of items, equipnt, armors... But nothing really interests him.
Though, that’s fine—Kaiser already have sothing in mind what to pick. Not because he wants it, but because he has a plan for it.
And so, without further ado—
"I can take his two swords that he used in our fight, right? They’re a pair after all, so they count as one item."
Kaiser opened his mouth and said that to Jed.
And Jed—
"Yep."
He simply replied.
"Great, I’m taking them."
Kaiser followed after that.
