The preliminaries were nothing but a waste of ti. On the second day when I won once again and qualified to beco one of the 25 students to advance to the next round of preliminaries, due to my overwhelming wins, it was decided that I wouldn't take part to keep the number of participants even and simply advance to the next round.
However, I was still required to co so I wasted an entire day doing nothing.
Thirteen people passed from my group and the sa number from the other four groups. A total of sixty-five participants including the seven apostles and Alicia. However, only eight students could advance to the quarter-finals so there was still a test that everyone had to pass to be qualified for that. A dungeon test. The sa one where Adrian died.
But there were still two days for that. The weekend was few so I decided to train my skills. None of them were anywhere near a level up but the ocean is made of a lot of drops. So even though it would take a long ti, I needed to pay them attention especially now that I was short of MP.
And the other pressing matter was this.

Rose was just ten levels behind from reaching the part of a breakthrough. Her progress shouldn't have been so fast but it seems everything weighing on her heart disappeared after sleeping with . oh yeah, Rose has been sleeping with these past few days. I don't mind but Rose wakes up with a fresh mood, a beautiful smile throughout the day, and an unmatched fervor when it cos to training.
Of course, all of this affects her training as well. Her level increased by two just in the past three days. That was a monstrous increase that I didn't even expect from Alex, my brightest pupil till now.
Well, whatever, she won't grow more when I will forbid her to. I will just have to keep an eye on it. unlike , who needs to level up and all that, the people of this world could find enlightennt for no fu*king reason at all and although it makes mad, there's nothing I can do about it but envy.
"That's it! I yelled and Laura and Alicia stopped. It was clear who was winning because even though Laura was strong in terms of physical stats now, she wasn't as experienced as Alicia. Not to ntion the imnse mana pool of Alicia. Haa… I wonder what would beco of her when I would feed her this.

Haa… How good would it have been if I could consu it? I would beco stronger than the so-called gods of this world. But, I didn't procure it for but for Alicia. She needs it more than anything else. And since this thing has nothing to do with mana, I have co across it many tis before. After all, the world tree doesn't just exist here but in many realities.
Of course, it was still a b*tch of the spirit king but the fact that it was strong was not wrong.

What I would do is simply change the effect of this thing from temporary to permanent. Of course, doing so would have consequences as well mainly in the form of efficiency being lowered. Instead of 1000, it might not even increase 200 of all stats but even if it did only that much, Alicia, who wasn't bound by the level system would have no trouble becoming a guardian-ranked being.
"You two are making good progress. I won't admit that your progress is great but I am still satisfied with it so there is no need to exert yourself anymore." I said as both of them stopped and paid attention to .
"So, now, we will begin a special training that will involve all three of you." Adrian smiled and the girls beca terrified, even Rose with her newfound fervor, because they knew what that ominous smile ant.
"Oh co on~ it isn't so scary that you look so terrified." Wei Jun said with an easy-going deanor before he pulled a hamr from the inventory. It didn't look like an ordinary hamr in the least.
"The instructions are simple. Dodge. And if you can't, clench." I said while hitting my palm with the hamr lightly.
"Adrian, honey, you're not serious, are you?" Laura asked, terrified or afraid of what was to co. I simply smiled as I said, "Dodge." And then, I jumped at them like a hungry man jumps at a hot woman.

"There, there, everything is alright," I said while massaging Laura's arms.
"Don't talk to ." Laura angrily said. She had been the one to be hit most by because her movents had been the most simplest among all three of them. it was very easy to predict where she would end up and my hamr was waiting for her there.
The worst part of the training was that I gave them no potions to heal but let their bodies heal naturally. Mana would heal them faster than a human body would so they weren't in any danger. The pain though, was a different story.
"Oh co on~ You know it is for your own benefit," I replied, trying to coddle her as much as I could.
"Then why did you hit the most?" She asked as she pushed her feet forward for a massage next. Even though she was angry, she still used it to her benefit as much as she could.
I began to massage her feet and calves as I replied, "Because you were the most on my mind."
"Don't lie to ." She said in a low voice but the blush on her face betrayed the anger in her words.
"I simply smiled and continued massaging her until she wasn't sore anymore. I left her room and headed to mine. All three girls were now resting and for the next two days, this would be our training.

"Did you et him?" A voice from a round crystal ball asked.
"Yes, I did." Sarah Georgette replied.
"And your analysis?" The voice asked.
"All the rumors are wrong. He wasn't lascivious at all. He observed properly before engaging in a conversation. He made sure to keep his words in check and even though each of his words gave the impression that he was the sa person from the rumors, he wasn't at all.

"And do you think he is dangerous?" The voice asked.
"Yes. Very. So much so that he should be the one we should worry about most. The plan is going according to your instructions. The distortion would occur as you have planned." Sarah replied.
"He needs to die anyway. That damned human is bothering us about it vehently." The voice on the other end was annoyed when she ntioned this.
"You do not need to worry, my queen. Even if his rank is high, he cannot fight a monster of A- rank unprepared." Sarah replied, sending her queen's annoyance before she asked, "And, my queen, how do you feel now if I dare to ask?"

"Yes, my queen." Sarah didn't dare to pursue a topic her queen had ended and simply replied, ending the connection of the crystal ball to the other side.

Alistair was having a bad day. Being forbidden to see his fiancée wasn't enough, he also had to run errands even though he was the next demon king. Of course, he knew that in the grand sche of things, his displeasure ant nothing but even he couldn't forego the fact that he was annoyed.
As he entered the study his father usually resided, he exhaled and inhaled so to conceal his annoyance as he went in deeper to find his father busy with work.
"Kuhum." He coughed to get his father's attention.
"Oh, I see you have returned." His father, the king of all demons, Astaroth raised his head and welcod his son. Of course, it was more like a business welco than a familial welco.
"Yes, I have," Alistair replied.
"And I assu you bring news?" Astaroth said while he turned his attention back to the work.
"I do. The plan of the dungeon distortion is in motion and it will soon be carried out. We don't know what the outco will be but we are optimistic about the result. As this is a test, and on a lot smaller scale, the consumption is small but it is still enough to create a dent in our finances. I can only wonder what would happen on a larger scale." Alastair reported while giving his own viewpoint.
"We are not the only ones contributing. The other species have contributed as well so the finances won't be that much of a problem." Astaroth replied.
Alastair nodded but there was still sothing on his mind that he wanted to say. "Father," He began to get Astaroth's attention and once he had it, he continued, "I think we would have to change the target of the distortion."
Astaroth was intrigued because he knew his son wouldn't just give such a suggestion for no reason. "Why do you say that?" Astaroth asked.
"Before returning here, I t the sir apostle. He inford that he has enough power to open the lock before he ets his demise." Alastair reported. Hearing this, Astaroth stopped, he stopped everything and asked with wide eyes, "By lock do you an you have found the prison?"
"Yes, father. We have." Alastair nodded in assent.
But seeing that his son wasn't as joyous as him, Astaroth asked, "Then what seems to be the problem?"
"About that, the prison has been found, and although it is found, it is in human territory," Alastair replied.
Astaroth understood the underlying aning, "By human territory you an…"
"Yes, Father," Alastair completed his father's sentence, "It is in the dungeon of diamonds."

Dungeon of diamonds. If I recall correctly, that incident is about to happen, right? Soon after the first year. The one in which Sirius died. It was a great issue but with my help, I will make sure he doesn't die. After all, he was needed for my rule in Bellator City.
The only problem that stood in my way was this, "How the hell do I gain the entrance to the dungeon of diamonds?"
