Oscar steadied the bow and released the essence arrow. It penetrated the left eye of the wild boar which fell over, and stopped moving after two rolls. Soon afterwards, the feather arrow released a white flash of light and disappeared. The longbow in Oscar's hand also vanished.

"That's a good shot, newbie." Maya and Yara jumped up and clapped their hands together happily.

The two girls ran in the direction of the dead boar followed by the rest of the group.

"Damn." Zachar shook the boar's body, and sighed. "Its, deader than dead."

"Oxcar, you're really good at archery. You must teach when you have ti." Yara said excitedly. "Okay?"

"Hmm..." Oscar pondered for a second and asked. "But why do you want to learn archery? Is your fireball not a hundred tis stronger than my bow and arrow?"

"Yea, but it's not as fast as your bow and arrow." Yara solemnly replied. "Moreover, my fireball can't reach that far away. It's not as crazy as your bow and arrow, that can hit a target, hundreds of ters away. If I learn archery, I can shoot fire arrows. Twang, twang, twang..."

"Alright, it's okay." Maya interrupted their words' bantering. "The two of you should stop blowing hot air for now. Let's drag the boar back for preparation. I'm hungry."

"You this little girl." Yara stretched out her finger and tapped Mayas forehead, saying with a smile. "When did you beco a glutton like Zacharoo?"

"Hey, Yara, you can't say that about without any proof. Can you ntion any ti I've been greedy with food?" Zachar responded in dissatisfaction.

Oscar shook his head and smiled at Lester who was holding a manifested longsword.

The young fighter climbed up a big tree in three vertical leaps, and with a swivel of his hand, a branch as thick as a small human arm was dislodged.

Lester jumped down following the falling branch, and he swung his sword in a series of arc moves before landing on his feet. The long sword had disappeared, but there was a straight and thick wooden stick in his hand.

Through the past few days of discussions, Oscar discovered that Lester's personality was relatively of gentleness and calmness. He rarely joked with everyone, but not the kind of arrogance. He was very gregarious with everyone, that kind of a big brother feeling.

It was a common practice among novice refiners to transform their essence crystal to a variety of weapons, so as to get familiarized with their best option. This would pave the way for the selection of the perfect weapon in the future. When the ti ca, the essence crystal would go into the creation of a soul weapon, and would reside in the soul space.

But Lester was different.

The young warrior had always been in love with swords since he first ca into knowledge of the transformation technique. He didn't even look at any other weapons at all. In his conviction, he had a special feeling for swords.

Therefore, he had been practicing swordsmanship, and the realm of the Battlemaster was his lifelong pursuit.

With Lester coming over with the long stick, Oscar took out a long rope from his spatial storage, and the two of them tied the four short legs of the boar to the long stick.

So, Oscar and Lester were at the front end of the stick, carrying the front carrying their hunt, while Zachar and Yara walked behind with the other end on their shoulders.

As they walked, Zachar and Yara were still bickering to the amusent of the others who couldn't help wondering maybe the two were born to be friendly enemies. By now, they were used to the argunts of the two, and didn't interrupt their argunts, but just listened to them.

Maya who was the smallest in stature, was jumping up and down the road ahead. She also humd a few ditties from ti to ti, which was pleasant to their ears.

It was ti for them to enjoy themselves.

Their master, Baldwin, had been away for more than a week, so apart from their normal training routines, the group of students were enjoying themselves, especially Maya.

After two months of intensive physical training, the comfort of enjoying themselves these days was not to be passed. Especially with Oscar by their sides, they often enjoyed so strange and new innovations.

In their discussions after breakfast earlier in the day, when Oscar ntioned the delicious taste of kebabs, everyone was drooling. Therefore, everyone imdiately ran to the back mountain to find the prey. Oscar was very experienced in hunting, and it didn't take long for him to find the boar.

When they carried the wild boar back to the school premises, it was still early for lunch. Elder Calder was sitting on the stone at the entrance of the academy, smoking his big pipe, looking leisurely at nature.

Oscar asked the cleric-turned-chef for help with the preparation of the bear, and they quickly cleaned up the boar.

Then, he cut a large piece of the best pork belly from the wild boar, and reduced the at into small pieces together with the old Chef. He also specially designed a at hamr to hit the pork belly, breaking up the at fibers, then mixed the seasonings and laced a large pot with bamboo skewers.

Oscar then cut the at into smaller pieces, so that it would be easy to cook and chew easily. It was not like when he was in the Ironwood Tribe, when he cut it into large pieces which was not easy to cook, but it tasted like a delicious bite nonetheless.

Yara had already used her fire magic to burn a pile of woods into red-hot charcoal.

Oscar took out the barbecue stove that Wynter made for him from his storage space, filled it with charcoal, and everyone moved everything to the stone table in the courtyard together.

Imdiately after that, Yara ignited the charcoal again with a fire skill, and Oscar arranged the at skewers on the rack and began to grill them.

The small pieces of at skewers were really easy to cook, especially since Oscar broke up the at fibers. Before they knew it, the unique aroma of roasted at was already drifting in the air.

Oscar took the animal oil, brushed the at skewers with it, and sprinkled so seasonings on it. Before long, strings of scorched, tendered and smoothly roasted at was steaming, sprinkling the grilled oil over the place.

Zachar swallowed hard, and before Oscar could speak, he grabbed a handful of at skewers from the hot stove and escaped all the way to the other side, and stood there to eat.

The angry Maya picked up the stick for turning the fire and was about to chase Zachar with it, when Oscar quickly picked up a few skewers of grilled at and stuffed them into her hands.

The young water mage was instantly distracted by the sll of the at skewers.
