He knew what life was like for her in the Qiao family. It had been like this since she was young. Qiao Ya would get plenty of expensive stuff which she had to live without. Fortunately, she did not really mind. It was just that sotis when she really wanted sothing, she would talk about it again and again to Li Yan. “Big brother, what does the ice cream Qiao Ya is eating taste like? It looks really tasty.”

Li Yan would then reply, “It’s spicy.”

“Ah? It’s definitely not tasty, then.”

Li Yan would then laugh as he looked at her. Now that Qiao Mu thought about it, he was definitely laughing because of how stupid she was. She used to believe in everything he said.

He would then buy her an ice cream, and she would eat it so ssily that her lips were full of cream. She would then ask him, “Big brother, do you want to give it a try. There’s so cream on my lips. Do you want to lick it?”

Qiao Mu was surprised at how good her mory was. She had actually forgotten a lot of things that had happened when she was young, but after she t Li Yan again, she could not help but recall a lot of mories she shared with him.

When she regained her senses, she saw that Li Yan was walking toward him. She froze and looked vigilantly at him as he approached her. She clutched her blanket tightly.

Li Yan’s expression turned dark. Her vigilance had put him in an extrely bad mood.

Li Yan stood beside the bed and leaned closer to Qiao Mu, supporting himself by placing a hand on the bed. Qiao Mu vigilantly inched backward to keep a distance from him.

His handso countenance was right before her face. Whenever he was expressionless, his face was ice-cold, and he emanated an extrely icy aura that radiated from the inside to the outside. For so reason, this made her anxious.

Li Ya said in a low voice, “You want money so that you can buy luxury goods?”

“Yes!” Qiao Mu nodded vigorously.

“Is there anything else you want?”

“Nothing else!” At this mont, Qiao Mu forgot how anxious she was. She suddenly felt a sense of familiarity, and it was as if she could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Li Yan’s gaze fell upon her exposed shoulders. Her skin was as fair as a flawless piece of jade, and it was trendously soft too.

His eyes darkened with desire. He picked up his suit jacket and walked out of the room after saying coldly, “Co to my company on Monday.”

Qiao Mu widened her eyes and said nothing. ‘Does this an that he has agreed to it?’

Qiao Mu’s entire body was aching as she left the hotel room. Li Yan had left after saying those words, and she did not have ti to ask him if he would be giving her money when she headed to her company on Monday.

Just as Qiao Mu was about to exit the hotel, she saw Yao Shu in the hotel lobby. Qiao Mu walked over to her and asked, “Young Shu, why are you here?”

Since she was showing up so early in the morning in the hotel lobby, she was probably checking out instead of checking in.

Yao Shu blushed and smiled shyly. “Mu Mu, I confessed last night, and he said yes!”

Qiao Mu froze and asked in astonishnt. “Yao Shu, don’t tell that you were… staying with him here last night?”

Yao Shu was blushing, and she did not deny it. Qiao Mu imdiately understood what was going on. Were things not progressing a little too fast? They were spending a night together right after they started dating?

Erm, she did not seem to be a position to comnt on this. After all, Yao Shu was spending the night with her boyfriend, but Qiao Mu spent the night with her uncle…

Qiao Mu’s cell phone started ringing. It was a call from Han Su. Qiao Mu could vaguely rember that she had bumped into Han Su after she was drunk. She quickly answered the call.

Han Su asked, “Mu Mu, you were drunk yesterday, and Li Yan left with you. Is he really your uncle?”

Qiao Mu did not rember what she had said last night. She replied, “He is, Senior Han Su. Don’t worry, I’m okay. Thank you for your help, but I don’t think that the nightclub is a suitable place for to work at. I won’t be going there anymore.”

After Qiao Mu thanked Han Su, she hung up. However, she saw that Yao Shu was fixing her gaze on her.

“Mu Mu, you were talking to Senior Han Su, weren’t you? Are you very close to him?”
