[2 minutes and 30 seconds left.]

"What did you just say?"

Olivia sounded anything but pleasured.

"..."

Even though his back was facing her, he noticed the intimidation she was emitting.

But it was an obvious reaction as Olivia Rostanta, who was labeled as the strongest since a young age, has never been told that she was in the way.

And especially in their current situation, when facing one of the top A-rank demons, she could not let his statent slip by as a re joke.

"Care to repeat what you said?"

She was pulling his shoulder to her.

A frown was visible on her stern face.

"..."

Mika averted his gaze from her while his apathetic gaze remained.

"Tch... You’re crazy!"

She pushed him away after he did not say anything.

"Are you done with your small dispute?" Zaran asked sternly.

Mika already placed his hand on Excalibur.

"Right for the head, huh...?" Zaran muttered as he was about to raise his sword.

"!"

There was a small cut on his neck.

"So that’s what he ant with slowing ti..."

Mika was now behind Zaran after he dashed to him with the intention of cuting off his head.

Zaran blocked the attack but he still received a small cut as he did not fully grasp the aning behind Mika’s thought to slow ti yet.

’Cut across the upper body.’

’Vertical slash if he dodges, a horizontal slash.’

’Finishing off with enlarging the Holy Spear.’

Zaran read Mika’s thoughts again before he stord to him.

And this ti, even though Mika slowed down the ti, Zaran was able to evade sword attacks.

It appeared to others as if only a few seconds had passed but the reality was that 10 seconds were over.

"Tch..." Mika clicked his tongue when he was midair.

His ti manipulation ability had to cool down for a while before he could use it again for 10 seconds.

In his hand was now the Holy Spear instead of Excalibur.

Holding it tightly, he threw the spear down to Zaran.

Zaran, in return, spread his wings and flew far away while the long and thick spear was coming down.

"What the-"

Olivia was stunned by the spear attack.

As she was taken by surprise, she also had to quickly leap away from the spot.

"Excalibur... The Holy Spear... Ti manipulation..." Zaran muttered pensively, casting his sight on the spear, whose diater covered the whole crater and whose height even surpassed that of the previous academy.

"So he can use three of the four- No. I can’t exclude the possibility yet that he can’t use that ability as well..."

"..."

Ambushing him from behind in the air was Olivia.

Noticing that he was in thoughts, Olivia did not hesitate to attack him despite it being a cowardly move.

She swung her leg at him but Zaran launched a counterkick, clashing with her leg.

"Do I look that easy to you?" he asked intimidatingly.

"Based on your previous slip-ups, I would say yes." she replied with a mocking grin.

Olivia separated herself from him and landed on the ground.

"..."

anwhile, Mika, who was floating in the air thanks to his wings, was breathing heavily.

[Switching between all those abilities takes a great toll on your body and mind.]

"How much ti do I have left...?"

[2 minutes and 16 seconds.]

"..."

He shifted his gaze to Olivia and Zaran, who were exchanging blows.

The two were grazing each other every ti they attacked, unable to land a clear hit on the other one.

"..."

Mika imdiately headed over, changing his weapon back to Excalibur.

The mont, he was within arm’s reach, he swung the sword.

The attack was coming from behind but Zaran still evaded the attack and created so distance between him and Olivia and Mika.

"How botherso..."

He went through his hand again with a hand.

"Really..."

"This is getting really botherso..."

The way he raffled through his hair got wilder.

He swung his hand away and heaved a sigh.

His stern and sharp eyes were directed at both of them.

"..."

However, his attention shifted slightly.

Zaran turned his head, looking slowly in each direction.

"Only the north is left..." he muttered.

His tone sounded sowhat sad.

He shook his head lightly to both sides.

"I would have never imagined that you were able to overturn the situation. We were 19 demons at the start and now only three demons, including myself, are left."

"If you’re able to understand the graveness of your own situation, then why don’t you just give up now?" Olivia asked with a stern gaze.

"Haha..." he chuckled faintly.

"That’s true... Retreating from here would be the wisest decision..."

It felt like a huge load was taken from his shoulders.

"..."

He lifted his chin and stared at the dark grey sky.

"Indeed... I should just retreat..."

"..."

Despite his will to keep fighting seed like it got broken, Olivia could not help but feel still cautious.

"Impossible." Zaran stated with a smile, shrugging his shoulder once.

"!"

His body tensed up and the next thing the two knew was that Zaran was right between them.

He swung his sword at Olivia and at the sa ti, launched a kick to Mika, who was behind him.

Olivia retreated from her spot and jumped to the back, whereas Mika was pushed away as Zaran kicked Mika’s blade.

"I can’t allow myself to retreat, knowing that I have achieved nothing yet."

Zaran appeared before Olivia.

"Neither did I conquer Loogam nor did I kill the wielder of Excalibur yet."

He used his sword to thrust her in the chest.

"Ugh...!" she groaned when she had to bend her body in order to avoid getting hit.

"?"

However, Zaran let go of his sword after the thrust failed and grabbed her neck with the sa hand.

"I won’t leave from here with empty hands."

"..."

Mika was heading to them with his arms retracted.

"If I can’t conquer Loogam, then I will at least kill the two of you."

Zaran threw Olivia at Mika, who caught her in a princess-carry-like manner.

"!"

Caught off guard, Zaran managed to sneak behind Mika.

Olivia freed herself from Mika.

He went for another sword thrust, however, he was again not successful as Olivia stopped the blade from piercing Mika’s chest.

"Hngh..."

The sword may have not managed to pierce the chest but it pierced through the foot of Olivia, who previously raised her leg, trying to block the attack.

She pointed her index and middle finger, which were pressed together, at him.

It sparkled there.

"!"

Zaran quickly tilted his head strongly to the right, evading the beam that was shot off.

He tried to fly away again but Mika was closing in on him.

Mika went for a one-handed slash, which Zaran dodged, too.

But just like Olivia, he used his other hand to cast magic.

He pointed his palm at him, causing a close-ranged lightning shock.

"..."

Zaran had his arms up and managed to distance himself.

[He barely received damage, which is no wonder, considering that you are just a B-rank.]

"Then, what about this?" Mika said indifferently.

Matter out of light, which was shaped like a short rod, was in his left hand.

He flew towards Zaran again, who imdiately knew what Mika planned.

Nonetheless, Mika threw the light at Zaran, who dodged with ease.

But the mont it hit the ground, a large cross-shaped light pillar erged from there.

Still, it did not hit Zaran as he was flying in front of it.

And yet, Mika did not stop.

He raised his finger up and then pointed at Zaran.

"Now arrows..." Zaran murmured, looking at the sky, where light arrows began to rain down.

Those arrows were targeted at Zaran.

However, he just flew to the side.

"It’s pointless. As long as I can read your mind, you can’t beat ."

The light pillar dispersed but at that mont, Olivia was visible, who was hiding behind it from Zaran.

"Do you think I’m stupid? I’m reading the minds of both of you." Zaran said with a sigh as he turned his head to Olivia.

He dodged her punch.

[Punch.]

"?"

Zaran quickly looked at Mika when he perceived the thoughts.

"..."

But Mika was not moving an inch away nor did he show any signs of planning to do so.

’Magic-infused punch to the chest.’

"Ugh!"

Zaran received a punch to the chest from Olivia.

[Kick to the side.]

"?!"

Again, Zaran looked at the unmoving Mika.

"Uff!"

And again, he was hit as Olivia grabbed his head and shoved her knee in his face.

"Clench your teeth." she said intimidatingly while grabbing his shoulder and retracting her arm.

[Sword cut.]

Reflexively, Zaran held up his sword in the direction of Mika.

"W-wha-"

With a loud bang, Olivia sent Zaran to the ground with a ferocious punch.

"..."

Mika descended to the ground.

With his chin lifted, he looked down at Zaran, who was partly stuck in the ground.

"It’s over."
