Mo Yang stood in place for a long ti, feeling the urge to curse. What the hell was this?

He had been inexplicably taken as a disciple by soone he hadn’t even t, and not only had he not received a weapon, but he had also been robbed of at least two million silver notes.

His sixth senior sister usually appeared cold and aloof, keeping people at a distance. Mo Yang never dread that she would outright rob him of his silver notes, and so ruthlessly at that.

But Mo Yang could only keep his anger bottled up, not daring to utter a single curse.

This senior sister was clearly not soone to be trifled with, and he knew he couldn’t afford to provoke her.

“Damn it, my life is probably ruined. That old man who secretly plotted this, when I finally et you, I’m going to strip you down to your underwear!” Mo Yang muttered bitterly.

As soon as he finished speaking, a jade-like hand appeared out of nowhere, grabbing his ear and lifting him off the ground. He could even sll a faint, pleasant fragrance. Then, a devilish chuckle sounded in his ear, “Little junior brother, you must respect your master. And don’t get any naughty ideas about your senior sister, okay?”

Mo Yang grimaced in pain, cold sweat breaking out on his back as he quickly nodded.

“Good boy, junior brother!” The voice chuckled, and the hand finally released him.

Mo Yang felt like crying but had no tears to shed. He didn’t dare stay any longer and hurriedly rushed toward Xuantian City.

After Mo Yang entered the city, the mysterious woman’s figure reappeared in the spot where they had just been. She gazed in the direction of the city and murmured to herself, “First level of the Heavenly Profound Realm... No wonder Master didn’t let give him the profound techniques. There seems to be a hidden power within him...”

Then, a smile curled on her lips as she opened her palm and looked at the two bottles of pills in her hand. ”Beauty Preservation Pills... This kid really doesn’t know how to share good things with his senior sister...”

Back at the inn, Mo Yang closed the door behind him and imdiately entered the Star Emperor Tower.

He took out the ancient manual and examined it. Given the other party’s high cultivation level, it was unlikely they were deceiving him.

However, as he looked at the ssy handwriting, Mo Yang couldn’t help but feel annoyed. But as he flipped through the pages, his expression gradually changed.

Although the handwriting appeared chaotic and scribbled, like ghostly doodles, upon closer inspection, Mo Yang realized that the seemingly disordered strokes actually contained a profound sword intent.

“What powerful sword intent...”

After observing for a while, Mo Yang felt a sharp pain in his eyes. When he focused his mind, it was as if a peerless sword was thrusting toward him. He could even sense the sharp, piercing aura, sending a bone-chilling cold through him.

The manual was thin, its pages yellowed with age. It was impossible to tell how many years it had existed. Mo Yang quickly flipped through it and found that the sword technique was divided into five layers, with five forms in total. However, the main focus was on cultivating that invincible sword intent.

Closing the manual, Mo Yang stared at the three words ”God-Slaying Art" and sighed inwardly. No wonder it had such an arrogant na. From the sword intent he had just sensed, this technique was indeed terrifying.

"Qian Sect... I wonder what kind of person that old man I haven’t t is...”

After muttering to himself, Mo Yang began to focus on comprehending the technique. He currently had too few cultivation techniques at his disposal. While it was manageable now, if he encountered powerful opponents in the future, he would struggle without so trump cards.

In the blink of an eye, the night passed.

The next morning, Xuantian City was bustling with excitent. The Four Sects Martial Arts Festival had officially begun, and cultivators from all over the region had gathered to watch.

In the central square of the city, the arena was already prepared. The four sects had their designated areas, and nurous viewing platforms had been set up.

The festival consisted of three rounds of competition. The first round was a literal battle royale, with each victory earning one point.

As the deep, resonant sound of the war drums echoed, the arena battles officially comnced.

"Mo Yang, Fei’er, this is your first ti participating. Pay attention and observe your opponents’ moves carefully...” Elder Three reminded them.

Mo Yang nodded, though in truth, he wasn’t particularly concerned about the festival. Once the arena battles began, he closed his eyes and focused on the God-Slaying Art’s heart technique, imrsing himself in its comprehension.

As the battles on the arena progressed, several disciples from the Lingxu Sect took the stage, but they all suffered consecutive defeats. The disciples from the other three sects had also grown significantly stronger, causing Elder Three’s expression to grow increasingly grave.

Qi Heng and Xu Xin were also tense. Long Wu from the Dragon Pool Pavilion had reached the third level of the Earth Profound Realm, and her performance drew gasps from the crowd. She won six consecutive matches before voluntarily stepping down.

Following her, Qian Wushuang also took the stage, his cultivation also at the third level of the Earth Profound Realm. Everyone rembered these two genius disciples from the Dragon Pool Pavilion. Last year, they were only at the first level of the Earth Profound Realm, but now they were terrifyingly strong.

Although Su Fei’er was only at the third level of the Spirit Communication Realm, she had good luck. Her opponents were all around her level, and she managed to win three consecutive matches.

The morning passed in the blink of an eye. When they returned to the inn, Elder Three sighed softly and said, “This year’s opponents are much stronger than expected. But don’t let the pressure get to you. Just do your best!”

"Long Wu and Qian Wushuang from the Dragon Pool Pavilion must have encountered so kind of opportunity to reach the third level of the Earth Profound Realm. Mu Qiu from the Jade Clear Gate hasn’t taken the stage yet. I wonder what level he’s at!” Xu Xin said, her face full of worry.

Mo Yang remained silent. He was actually looking forward to encountering an opponent at the Heavenly Profound Realm to test his current strength.

When the arena battles resud in the afternoon, Xu Xin and Qi Heng took the stage one after another. Both won three consecutive matches, but the process was nerve-wracking. After winning three matches, Xu Xin chose to step down. This was only the first round, and she couldn’t reveal all her strength.

“The first round should be ending soon. Is it my turn?” Mo Yang opened his eyes, stretching lazily as if he had just woken up.

Xu Xin gave Mo Yang a sowhat speechless look and said, “Previously, the various sects seed to have an unspoken agreent to avoid pitting their top talents against each other. You might encounter Mu Qiu or Pang Long. These two haven’t taken the stage yet!”

Elder Three also advised, “If you encounter Mu Qiu from the Jade Clear Gate, don’t push yourself. Just admit defeat. There are still two more rounds. Avoid unnecessary risks in the first round!”

Mo Yang nodded, then stood up and walked toward the arena.

Mo Yang had expected Pang Long to take the stage imdiately, but it was soone else.

Mo Yang vaguely rembered this person. He had been sitting with Pang Long at the tavern earlier.

“Kid, rember, my na is Pu Fan!” the young man said coldly.

"Mo Yang!” Mo Yang smiled and replied calmly.

Without hesitation, Mo Yang moved. In a flash, he appeared in front of Pu Fan and threw a single punch, sending Pu Fan flying out of the arena.

The entire audience fell silent. Many people hadn’t even had ti to watch the match, and it was already over—with just one punch.

Even Pu Fan, after being knocked out of the arena, looked completely bewildered.

Mo Yang didn’t want to waste ti. If one punch could settle it, he wouldn’t throw a second.
