After Finn Grant left, Quinn Locke suddenly ca over to discuss sothing with Anna Thornton.

"Miss Anna, I might need to take a day off at the end of the month."

"Director Lucas, is there sothing you need to do?"

"It’s just... my family wants to invite for a al."

Anna Thornton watched Quinn Locke fidget, thinking it must be sothing difficult to talk about.

Oh right, Mary had ntioned to Anna that Quinn Locke is actually the illegitimate son of the Willow Group, and he’s a half-brother to Henry Willow.

She really hadn’t noticed before, given that the differences in appearance and personality between Henry Willow and Quinn Locke were so vast. One is flamboyant and wild, the other blushes just from talking to girls.

Just now, Finn Grant invited Anna Thornton to be his date, saying sothing about the wedding anniversary of the Willow Group’s president and his wife.

Is it appropriate for an illegitimate child to attend such an occasion?

Quinn Locke also knew it wasn’t appropriate, but there was no choice.

He needed to ask soone for investnt, and once it was secured, he had to "sell" himself as payback.

"Then just go, according to our current filming schedule, missing a day won’t matter," Anna Thornton had said sothing different to Finn Grant earlier.

But hearing her say this imdiately made Quinn Locke feel better, at least he wouldn’t feel guilty for holding back the crew’s progress.

"Anna, I also need to take a day off."

Seeing Mary suddenly approach, Anna Thornton asked her, "What do you need to do?"

Mary pointed at Quinn Locke, "Director Lucas just formally invited to be his date."

"Really?"

"Yeah." Quinn Locke nodded.

At the large banquets hosted by the Willow Family, dancing was unavoidable, and everyone had to attend with a date.

At first, Quinn Locke had planned to invite Anna Thornton to be his date.

But just now, when he saw that Finn Grant had already extended an invitation, Director Lucas knew he couldn’t compete.

So, wisely, he turned to ask Mary if she was available that day.

Of course, Mary was available; she loved lively events.

"But Anna, I’ve never attended such a high-class banquet before. I don’t have appropriate clothes to wear, what should I do?"

"It’s okay, I have lots of evening gowns now, you can wear mine."

"Can I fit into your dresses?"

"Just need a little alteration."

...

The four major families of Aethelgard, led by the Ford Family, primarily focus on the information technology and communications industry.

The Grant Family is in finance, the Hawthorne Family primarily operates in the construction industry, while the Willow Family is in the entertainnt industry, owning nurous dium to large-sized entertainnt companies,

The last ti Anna Thornton attended Marilyn Ford’s birthday party at the Ford Family, and this ti as Finn Grant’s date, she accompanied him to Miles Willow and his wife’s wedding anniversary banquet.

It can be said that the scene setting and liveliness were equally impressive.

The rapid developnt of the entertainnt industry over the years has clearly filled the coffers of the entertainnt companies under the Willow Group.

Anna Thornton had never seen Henry Willow’s father; Mary ntioned that he was very handso.

When Finn Grant’s car stopped at the venue, Anna Thornton saw the photo arranged outside the Willow Residence’s gates, and he indeed looked handso, resembling Henry Willow in his features.

And the person beside Miles Willow, was that Henry Willow’s stepmother?

At first glance, Anna Thornton felt a bit familiar, but couldn’t recall where she had seen her before.

She was in a daze until Finn Grant exited the car, opening the car door for her.

"Get out!"

Anna Thornton held up her skirt and got out of the car, Finn Grant extending his hand to assist her.

Not feeling her hand in his palm, he even took the initiative to hold her hand, "You are my date tonight, so follow all the banquet etiquettes, don’t embarrass . We will need to dance later, understood?"

Finn Grant had just managed to hold Anna Thornton’s hand when she heard soone calling her from behind.

"Anna!"

Anna Thornton turned around on hearing her na, seeing Mary hurrying with her gown’s skirt in one hand and high heels in the other, running alongside Louis Lan.

"Just in ti!" Mary sighed in relief when she saw them, almost losing her balance from her montum.

Taking the chance, Anna freed herself from Finn Grant’s grip to help steady Mary.

"You’re so exhausted, where did you co from?"

"Don’t even ntion it, I should have waited at ho with you for Young Master Grant to pick us up, could have caught a free ride."

Mary started grumbling, "Anna, have you ever seen anyone take the subway to attend a formal banquet?"

Mary thought that as Quinn Locke’s date, she should’ve t up with him, and they would arrive together.

Who knew Quinn Locke would actually take her to the subway station?

Even taking a taxi would have been better!

Mary lanted wearing such an expensive dress today, only to be viewed as a performance artist on the subway, even having so passengers record videos of her.

"Anna, check if my makeup is ruined? And my dress, it got stepped on several tis when we ca out of the subway!"

"It’s fine, it still looks good, the skirt’s so big it doesn’t show."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Ti to go in." Finn Grant urged, passive-aggressively extending his elbow to Anna Thornton.

Anna Thornton gave him a glance. Since she agreed to be Young Master Grant’s date, she dutifully hooked her arm around his.

"Wow, Anna looks amazing in red!" Even after knowing Anna Thornton for several years, Mary couldn’t help but fangirl over her artist.

"Did you know?" Mary nudged Quinn Locke’s shoulder, whispering to him, "We have a red carpet rule. Whenever Anna wears red, she must kill it."

Looking down at herself, Mary sighed, "Stars are indeed different. Even when I put on a gown, it just doesn’t feel the sa."

"Actually, you look quite pretty today too!" Quinn Locke said.

Did this Director finally wise up?

Because he was too stingy to take a cab, Mary had been mad at him the whole way, refusing to speak to him.

Now, since he had at least complinted her, she reluctantly placed her hand on his arm, "Let’s go in too."

When Anna Thornton entered with Finn Grant, they imdiately caused quite the stir.

The two of them, a handso couple, while there were other attractive pairs at the scene, Anna Thornton’s beauty had the talent to stand out in any mont, occasion, leaving everyone in awe.

Moreover, the dress she wore today was quite striking.

"Do you see what Anna Thornton’s wearing, isn’t it from Nick Walters’s ’Sunshine Rose’ collection?"

"That series is the most classic; it’s said to be incredibly hard to get your hands on, so why is it on Anna?"

"Isn’t the person that ca in after her Anna’s agent? How co even her agent is wearing a dress designed by Nick Walters? Are Nick Walters’s designs so common now? It’s such a waste."

"Didn’t you hear Young Master Grant say before? He wants to buy all of Nick Walters’s designs for Anna Thornton to wear as pajamas. Just after, I heard soone indeed paid a hefty price to collect the entire series of Nick Walters’s dresses; looks like Young Master Grant is lavishly devoted to Anna! They must be together by now!"

"A publicity storm as soon as she returned ho, failed to latch onto President Sterling, but managed to reel in Young Master Grant. What a steal for her."

The suddenly nad Conrad Sterling turned to glance back, his gaze settling complicatedly on Anna Thornton with Finn Grant, feeling sothing indescribable welling inside.

The dress was clearly a gift from him to Anna Thornton, so how did the credit end up with Finn Grant?
