Upon hearing this, Anna Thornton glanced at the gift bag placed in front of her, which bore no na.
Opening it, inside was a pair of red shoes.

By afternoon, the person who sent the shoes appeared.
After Young Master Grant returned to the country, nearly half a month passed, and he once again made a high-profile appearance at Anna Thornton’s film set.

Though knowing Anna Thornton was just joking, Finn Grant still felt grossed out.
Made a vomiting gesture: "What I can’t stand in this life, is people like Conrad Sterling who love to act mighty."
"Alright, no joking around. Let tell you sothing seriously, I’m going to attend Miles Willow’s wedding anniversary ceremony at the end of this month, how about you accompany as my date then?"
"Sorry, Young Master Grant, we have a heavy shooting schedule at the end of the month, I can’t be your date, better ask soone else."
"The spot next to is only reserved for you; I don’t fancy other won."
"But I’m really busy!"
"How busy can you be? In the worst-case scenario, I’ll have your crew halt filming for a day; I’ll cover all the losses!"
Finn Grant and Anna Thornton were sitting on folding chairs bought by the production crew in bulk.
As the budget wasn’t high, costs were saved, so the chair quality wasn’t that great either.
At the mont, the wooden armrest was squeezed in Young Master Grant’s palm, creaking, seemingly about to crumble into powder the next second.
Anna Thornton knew Finn Grant didn’t have a good temper; being rejected once or twice might make him think this woman is interesting.
But a man also has his pride, especially n like Finn Grant and Conrad Sterling who are successful in their careers and fairly influential.
How can they accept being defied in public ti after ti?
Anna Thornton used to pester Conrad Sterling, flirt, sure, but knew where the boundary lay.
As for dealing with this Young Master Grant, even more caution is necessary.
Because according to Conrad Sterling, Finn Grant is like a neurotic ticking ti bomb.

Finn Grant couldn’t quite grasp her humor: "Had enough? Now can you agree to be my date?"
"Say one last line, okay?" Anna Thornton held up one finger to him, "I still want to laugh a bit more."
"..." Finn Grant racked his brains, looking at Anna Thornton’s face, suddenly felt enlightened, "Your smile doesn’t have wine, yet I’m drunk as a dog!"
"Ahahahaha..."
"Stop laughing! Anna Thornton, be my date! Hear ? Just wear the shoes I gave you, and wait for to pick you up!"
