"Since Young Master Grant is here, I’ll be leaving!"

Henry Willow and Finn Grant cannot coexist in the sa space for too long.

It’s not that Henry is afraid of Finn, but mainly because the latter can randomly go crazy. Experience has shown that Finn’s bouts of madness tend to increase in frequency and likelihood whenever he’s near Henry.

Even if Finn doesn’t lash out, if he impulsively calls his sister over, it would be absolute chaos.

Henry doesn’t want to cause any trouble for Anna Thornton!

It’s been a while since Finn Grant saw Anna. The mont he returned to the country today, he didn’t even stop by company or ho and rushed to see her, leaving him no ti to ss with Henry.

Regarding the occasion when he gave flowers to another woman behind his sister’s back, Finn decided he’d wait to settle that score later.

"I rushed here straight after getting off the plane, I haven’t even had lunch. Anna, why don’t you accompany for a al?"

"Young Master Grant, it’s only ten in the morning. What you missed should be breakfast, right? Plus, I’m busy filming here and can’t leave, so why don’t you eat by yourself?"

Don’t even think Finn couldn’t tell; she was just trying to brush him off.

"I wrapped up my business early and rushed back to the country just to see you, and you’re not going to give any acknowledgnt?"

"I didn’t ask you to co back early!" Anna Thornton shrugged helplessly.

And he wants to be acknowledged? What else does he want?

"I don’t care, I still want you to have a al with ."

...

anwhile, Anna Thornton was being pestered by Finn Grant.

On the other side, Mary had caught up with Quinn Locke.

"Director Lucas, where did you go? I’ve been looking for you."

"I, I just went to the bathroom."

"You took so long in the bathroom?"

Mary found this director to be quite peculiar. At first glance, he seed unreliable, and even now, working with him, she still felt he wasn’t dependable.

If he said he went to the bathroom, then fine. Mary just wanted to ask, "Anna wants to know if these roses can be used for the later scenes. If they can, we might save so money on props."

Quinn Locke wasn’t really listening to Mary, anxiously darting his eyes around.

He glanced in Anna Thornton’s direction, confirming there was a new man there, and that ’the one’ from earlier was gone. Only then did Quinn let out a small sigh of relief.

"Huh?" Quinn Locke then turned to Mary, "What were you saying just now?"

"Were you even listening to ?"

"I’m sorry, I zoned out a mont there." Quinn awkwardly scratched his head, "Could you please repeat what you said?"

Mary: "..."

Having worked with Quinn Locke on the film set for two months, Mary felt that if anything happened to her, it would be due to Quinn driving her mad.

As a manager, she had never t such a dull director before.

But if she thought about it positively, Quinn Locke was indeed quite different from other directors, and in fact, he was the most good-natured director Mary had ever seen.

No one had ever seen Quinn get angry. Whether dealing with actors or the crew, he was always calm and easygoing.

Oh well, considering he was so honest and seed so easy to bully.

Mary couldn’t bring herself to bully him, so she patiently repeated herself.

"Great, these words will be useful. I’ve been wanting to set up a very beautiful shot, so let’s have them prepare it now."

Just as Quinn Locke finished speaking, Finn Grant clapped his hands to draw attention. "Everyone, I’m treating the entire crew to lunch!"

Anna Thornton ntioned that the other crew mbers had to stay for filming, so she couldn’t accompany Finn for a al.

So Finn decided to treat the whole crew; this way, she wouldn’t have a reason to refuse to join him.

"Alright then, everyone, set aside your work, and we’ll resu after lunch," Quinn Locke said in agreent.

Mary, however, pulled on his arm from behind. "Director Lucas, you can’t be so agreeable as a director! This Young Master Grant is not just so ordinary troublemaker, and his pursuit of Anna will delay our shooting progress."

"I don’t think it will," Quinn optimistically thought.

However, the truth proved otherwise. After the al, Finn Grant still didn’t want to leave.

It was only thanks to Anna Thornton’s decisive manner that, after much persuasion, she temporarily sent the man back to his company, allowing the crew to resu normal shooting.

That night, as Anna Thornton finished her scenes for the day and drove ho,

she noticed Finn Grant’s car tailing hers.

Frowning, Anna accelerated, but the car behind her matched her speed, following her around in circles, stubbornly refusing to be shaken off.

Having just recently gotten her driver’s license, Anna didn’t dare to drive too recklessly, so she continued on her way ho, letting him follow if he wanted.

Once she arrived outside her building, Anna got out of the car.

Soon, Finn’s car pulled into the empty spot next to hers, and he too got out from the driver’s seat.

"So this is where you live?"

"Young Master Grant, why are you following ?" Anna asked him.

"I’ve just returned from abroad and brought gifts for you and your little one. I thought I might as well co up for a visit."

Finn said, taking out three deluxe shopping bags and a life-sized Doraemon plush toy from the trunk, clearly intended for Pop.

Indeed, Finn’s primary reason for following Anna today was to et her daughter.

Two-thirds of these gifts were ant for the child.

To win a man’s heart, they say, you should start with his stomach. To win over a single mom, the first step is to win over her kid.

Finn didn’t rember who told him this, but it seed to make so sense to him.

"The reason you haven’t accepted my proposal is simply because you have a child. Since I’m not her biological father, you worry I might mistreat your daughter after we marry?"

Finn looked certain this was the reason and, not waiting for Anna’s response, proposed a solution: "Don’t worry, I can start building a relationship with her now. As long as the kid isn’t overly naughty, I shouldn’t dislike her. Plus, you showed her photo last ti, and she’s pretty adorable, like you. I think I’d quite like her."

Anna wasn’t concerned whether Finn liked Pop or not.

Her worry was that the man’s sudden proposal to visit would scare her child.

Just as Anna pondered how to decline him, a black Bentley honked behind her.

Anna turned around, startled.

Conrad Sterling was there too; what day was it today?

Conrad wasn’t there by coincidence; Henry Willow tipped him off that Finn Grant had gone to see Anna Thornton the mont he returned to the country.

President Sterling couldn’t conveniently show up at the set, so he ca to Anna’s place early, and sure enough, found Finn, the persistent one, sticking around.

"Conrad Sterling, I heard from inside sources that you’re about to get engaged to Marilyn Ford. Why do I still run into you at Anna’s doorstep? Are you so kind of super glue turned magical?"

These two seeing each other as superglue might as well be a sign of mutual understanding.

Conrad, characteristically aloof, couldn’t be bothered with him, pulled several large packages out from his car’s trunk: "These are all Pop’s toys. Last ti you couldn’t take them all, so I’m delivering them over."

This would easily be resolved by a local courier; there’s no need for him to personally deliver them.

Busy as he was, President Sterling wouldn’t be bored enough to take on a delivery guy’s job, clearly doing it to show Finn Grant.

Sure enough, upon hearing this, Finn’s eyebrows furrowed.

"So you two lived together before?" Finn asked Anna Thornton.

Conrad deliberately asked Anna, "He still doesn’t know Pop is our child?"

Anna Thornton: "..."

That Conrad, so damned sneaky!
