"Archi my son," he heard Oberon’s parched voice, "Please, my- my son, stop this."

Archi stopped his hand when he heard Oberon call his na, "What? How.."

His disguise had fallen off.

Tears sprang to Oberon’s eyes realizing how much his son hated him.

"I am sorry, I.. did not an," he coughed out blood, "I never bad for the both of you," he coughed again, "She had run away, but then I swear I did try to find at first, then I stopped," a tear slid down his slit face, "Please hear out son, give a chance."

Archi drew backwards, "What do you an you looked for us?"

Oberon’s eyes flickered, "That.." more blood flowed from his mouth, "That was.. at first.. when- when I thought I had found my ’fated mate’, I never realized," he paused, he was growing out of strength to speak, "I-"

Archi realizing how much he had stabbed him, panicked all of a sudden. He threw his dagger away, holding his head yelling, "Aghhh! Now I have turned into a monster!" He looked at his hands, "I am now a monster!" He fell on his knees, screaming like a mad man.

Oberon had been badly injured, but with so of his energy left, he was able to send a ssage across to his beta for help.

"Archi looked his way, "You, why are you making feel conflicted emotions! Why? What did I even do to you to be in this situation?!"

Obedm closed his eyes, "Please forgive , I- wanted to make everything right.. but then.."

"But what?" He cut him off sharply.

"Your mother was still trying to heal after everything, she still doubted , I can swear to the both of you, I really want.. to make everything right," he heaved, slowly losing so of his breath.

"I hate you so much!" He pald his face, then finally he broke out sobbing, "Look what I had turned into," he inhaled sharply, "An unforgiving monster.."

"We can talk about this," Oberon inhaled sharply, then groaned. He was losing a lot of blood, plus Archi’s dagger was a poisoned silver one. It had hit his core.

Archi kept raving on, and on, "This is not what would have happened if you had treated my mother right?! What do you all expect from a boy who always had to deal with the pain of watching his mother cry every night? All because of you!"

"I am sorry," he repeated, "I am sorry my son," with that, he passed out.

Archi noticed he had stopped talking, "Is he dead?" He stopped sobbing, wiping his face, then crawled over to his body.

His breathing was dangerously slow, and it looked he would die at any mont.

"Stop right there! Get him!" He heard a voice yell. He looked over his shoulder to see dozens of Alphas running his way, "Seize him!" The leader of them all, yelled.

Reaching where he knelt on the ground, they imdiately seized him.

"His majesty has been badly injured! Co on, quick, take him back to the palace!"

Archi only watched them carry Oberon back, he didn’t even try to fight off these Puny Alphas he could certainly defeat.

"Hold on, Snow," one of the Alpha’s, called out to the leader, "Is this not.. the king’s son?"

Snow took a proper look at Archi, then his jaws dropped, "He is! He has been alive all these while?"

Archi kept mum, his head hung low. Snow clapped his hands, and they let go of him, "Go on, take his majesty, one of you should imdiately call for the doctor. Maverick, and I, will stay behind with him."

They nodded, then all headed back to the palace. Snow bent down to Archi’s level, "Prince.."

"I am no prince," his icy voice cut snow off.

"But sir.. you.. are his heir, how could you do this to your Father!"

Archi snarled at him, "You do not know what he has done to !"

Maverick flinched, stepping backwards. Archi had a sickening look in his eyes, he looked ready to pounce on anyone at the mont.

"Please co back with us to the palace," Snow pleaded.

Archi tightened his lips, more tears streaming down his face.

"I wanted him dead, all of it was too much! I just could not keep it in my heart anymore!" He ground his teeth in fury.

Snow sensing that Archi was likely going feral, imdiately bound him in chains, "If let loose, he might likely wipe out half of the palace!"

Maverick shook his head, "How did it get to this?" He remarked, full of pity for Archi.

"Well, what can we do?" He helped Archi up, "Let us take him to the elders, they know what they can do with him."

Archi bowed his head sobbing silently, "It is not my fault."

Maverick looked at him, his heart going out for him, but then no one could just attempt to kill the King, and go scot free.

They took him back to the palace. By the ti they had reached the palace, the rumors had already started flying around.

The real heir wanted to eliminate his father.

A sea of eyes dug his skin, as they murmured among themselves.

Archi didn’t even try to hang his head in sha, he did what he thought he had to do.

"Where are we taking him? The throne room?" Maverick asked.

"Yes. The elders should be there by now. The others should have told them everything by now."

The maids, cooks, and guards wanted to know the outco of Archi’s trial. Who knew Oberon’s son would co in a disguise just to eliminate him one day?"

All of them followed Snow, and Maverick to the throne room. The atmosphere was tensing up. What would the elders do to him? Would they forgive him because he is Oberon’s son, or he would also go to trial too?

"This has to be one of the most interesting trials I will ever be to,"Snow spoke up.

"I could not agree more," Maverick agreed.

They had already arrived at the doors of the throne room. What was Archi’s fate now?
