Nyx creased her brows in confusion, "Hm?"
Oberon chuckled seeing the confusion clearly written on their faces.
He cleared his throat, "She will be punished, yes she will but..."
"There is a but in it?"
"Her right can not be more than the wrong can it?"
"She should be punished! What else are we waiting for?"
"We can not consider her right when she has done us grave wrong."
The pack mbers kept murmuring.
"Listen to ," he called for their attention.
"She has done us grave wrong, she will be punished for that as I have said but, she will not be punished gravely," he said firmly.
They gasped, "Your majesty! She made us leave the comfort of our pack, and let us stay with our unwelcoming neighbors!"
Oberon nodded, "I understand, but if she had not helped in weakening Aegis, he would have done sothing very bad," he added.
"She was the one who was able to go against Aegis, and weaken him. All I did was to make him useless.. he is not dead yet. He deserves a slow death."
He faced Risa, "You do know the implications of your actions right?"
Tears stread down her face, and she nodded, "Yes your majesty."
He nodded, "Very good. You are about to be punished for it. I do hope you must have prepared yourself ntally for it," he straightened his face.
"Her punishnt will be a public apology to the pack, and to the Luna, also, she will be confined in the Pack’s holding."
Risa whipped her head up, and looked at him, her heart thumping, "What?"
"Shh."
She pursed her lips, "Pack’s holding?" She whispered, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets.
The pack mbers were not satisfied, though they wanted her dead, they agreed with his decision.
"Killing her will not changed what had happened in the past. What she needs now is rehabilitation, not death."
So of them arched their brows in surprise, where was their usually bloodthirsty Alpha?
He waved his hands, "Take her away," he told his hands, "She will be confined for four months."
Risa’s heart sank, but there was nothing she could do. Two hefty guards ca forward and grabbed her hands, so they could take her away.
Her eyes t with Nyx’s, and she smiled bitterly before she was taken away.
She closed her eyes, and sighed, "Phew!"
"Now, the eting here is over, you all can return back to various hos. I wish you all safety, and hope you resu your duties as soon as possible."
"Long live the king!" The pack bowed, and one by one, they began to disperse leaving just Nyx and Oberon standing on the podium.
Oberon turned to see Nyx still standing there, "Oh, you are still here."
She shrugged, "Hm."
"Is there sothing wrong?" He walked towards her.
She frowned, and shook her head, "Not all, I just thought I would wait till they all left. I should get going now."
"Nyx wait."
She pursed her lips, "hm?"
"It is about ti they recognized their official Luna," he added.
"It is," she nodded.
He took her hand, "I am going to make it as special as possible," he kissed her knuckles.
She shivered when she felt his lips on her knuckles, "Uh.. I should get going now. Excuse ."
"Why the hurry?".
She squinted her eyes at him, "Hm, I would like to have so rest please."
"Can I just spend an hour with you please?"
She drew her head backwards, "Why?"
"I.. well.. there are so things I want to tell you," he took her hand, and led her to the garden.
"Ugh, an hour is way too much," she groaned.
"No, it is perfect," his eyes glistened with happiness.
"You know, today is actually a very wonderful day. Hehe, a new beginning for all of us," they got to the garden, and her eyes widened.
The garden suddenly had a new look. It had a moonstone garden the.
The paths had been made of shimring gray stones, moon thed paintings were set in places all over the garden. A large glowing moonstone was set in the center of the garden giving it an ethereal look.
"Luna roses?" She gasped as her eye caught sight of the pale moon colored blooms at the far end of the garden.
"When did you do all this? How were you so quick?" She turned to look at him.
He shrugged, "I just did it sohow," he gently bit his lips.
Her eyes watered, "This is so beautiful."
"A lunar gazing area too!" She shrieked in excitent, and she ran towards it, giggling in excitent.
His heart swelled with love seeing her in that way. He bead with smiles, as she kept giggling, and admiring the garden.
"Oh my goodness, this is wonderful!" She clapped her hands.
He went to et her, "I knew how much you loved moon thed stuffs. So I decided to make this for you, to make you happy," he said softly.
She turned to him, and gave him a big hug, "It is so beautiful, thank you!"
He patted her head, "I am glad you like it."
"I love it," she disengaged from the hug, "But how? With all these going on, you still had the ti to do this?"
"As long as it is for you, I do not mind."
Her cheeks flushed, and she looked away so he would not see her reddened cheeks.
"Thank you so much."
"So, you can spend an hour with now?"
"In this place? Of course!" She grinned, and made her way to the moon shaped benches.
He sat beside her, and exhaled.
"I wanted to say thank you Nyx. You really have changed ."
She glanced at him, "I have?"
"Yes, a lot. Co to think of what happened a few minutes ago. If it were the old , I would have killed Risa without a second thought, not minding if she had helped us a little."
"Hm, I get you though."
He gently touched her hand, "Plus, if not that you had initiated that plan earlier, I would not have thought I would one day fight an impromptu battle," he chuckled.
"Hm, good thing you did."
"Thank you for helping . I know you are still angry with though, but you still decided to help , you are such a treasure," he kissed her cheeks.
She gulped, and looked away, "That is okay," her voice was barely above a whisper.
He enveloped her in his arms, "You are aweso, I love you."
