Mark walked up to him and they embraced each other.

"Mark, you are okay!" He said happily.

"I am."

"Mark, I am so sorry, I accused you falsely, you did nothing wrong, it was all a misunderstanding," he apologized.

They disengaged from the hug, "I understand your majesty," he nodded, "that is all in the past now, there is no need to apologize."

He sighed, "I am so sorry once again," he bit his lips.

Mark patted his back,"everything will be fine soon."

He faced selena, "I hope you had no troubles during the journey."

She shook her head, "it was fine."

He closed his eyes, "this will be temporary, do not worry," he said trying to console himself more than them.

Elena sat down, "what about the others? Are they okay? It would be selfish of us to lead ourselves to safety and leave them under that monster."

"They are all safe mother, they are fine," he assured her.

She sighed, "that is good, safety of the pack first," she said softly.

He nodded and exchanged glances with Dora. She shook her head and he nodded.

This place is quite small, are you sure it would contain you all?" Neriah asked.

"We have no choice, do we?" Dora chipped in.

"How many rooms does this house have?" Elena asked.

"Just two."

"That should be okay, it is not as if we are a multitude here, we can manage the little we have," she smiled.

Mark laughed softly, "you should not bother yourself your majesty, Selena and I will not stay here, we will be fine sowhere else."

"Where?"

"A place I told them about," Neriah chipped in.

Elena raised her brow, "okay, if you say so then."

"Shall we go now?" Neriah asked Mark.

"Yes."

He faced Oberon, "we shall et again so other ti your majesty," he bowed.

He nodded, "bye for now Mark."

Selena bowed and waved, "Bye."

"Bye Selena."

They left with Neriah.

Oberon sat beside Elena.

"Oberon," she held his hand, "I feel so bad," her eyes were filled with sadness.

"I know, I have failed the pack and father," he shook his head feeling disappointed.

"Do not say that, you tried your best. They only overpowered us."

Dora sat opposite them, "we can start strategizing. If we start early, then we can surely co up with a plan to defeat them. All hope is not lost."

Elena faced her, "you are right my dear, we can still save our pack," she closed her eyes and nodded.

"You must be tired mother, let go make you a cup of tea," she sniffed and stood up.

Elena creased her brows, "mother?" She faced Oberon.

"I will explain everything later, just have so rest."

Elena blinked, "is everything fine?"

"Yes, everything is fine."

She nodded, "okay," she rested against the chair.

Oberon slightly caressed her arm.

So minutes later, Dora ca in with a cup of tea and placed it in front of her.

"Here you go mother."

Elena smiled softly, "thank you my dear, I really do need this."

"You are welco," she smiled softly.

She sat down and watched her drink her tea, her heart warming up.

There was silence for a while, Oberon sighed and stood up.

"I need to clear my head for a while," he gulped and left the room.

"Why? Is sothing wrong?"

He shook his head, "Not that, I just want to clear my head. I am too overwheld right now," he held his head and left the room.

Dora was left with Elena who was sipping her cup of tea.

She gulped, and played with her hands wondering how best to start a conversation.

"Uh.. your majesty.." she coughed.

"Yes?"

"There is sothing I would like to ask."

"Sure my dear, go on."

"Who was Oberon’s father? What was his na?"

"Alcide, his na was Alcide."

"Was he an Alpha?"

Elena paused and raised her head to look at her, "No.. why?"

"Then why is Oberon an Alpha?"

Her heart skipped a beat, "what are you trying to say?"

"If Alcide was a Lycan, then how co Oberon is an Alpha, I an... Oberon is his son," she shrugged.

She took another sip of her tea, "oh.. I.. well I never really told Oberon he was a Lycan," she paused, her face blank, "if Aegis believed Alcide had given birth to an Alpha, he would leave Oberon alone and not try to kill him."

"His father was an Alpha, why would he want to believe that?"

"Growing up, he never showed the qualities of a Lycan, I know very well he has been watching us but there was no opportunity to strike."

"Wait... How old is Oberon?"

She sipped her tea again, "two hundred and fifty years old."

Her mouth dropped, "what?"

"Yes."

"Nyx was eighteen when he married her!"

She sighed, "she was the one he wanted then, I do not know why he wanted her back then."

She was still dazed, "so he has lived for two hundred and fifty years and never knew he was a Lycan?"

"Aegis would have co for him, he killed his father, do you think he would not be able to kill him too?"

Dora sucked her lips in, "hmm, that is odd though, even if Oberon knew he was a Lycan, probably he would have fought Aegis back."

"Aegis has a pack of Lycan rogues, Oberon has betas and ogas under him. Alcide’s warriors stepped down and relocated to other packs. What would have happened?"

Dora shook her head surprised, "oh goodness, how would we fight Aegis if we finally ca up with a plan?"

"Probably if he makes an alliance with another pack who has a lot of Lycan warriors."

Dora squinted her eyes, "Neriah could help," she muttered to herself.

"You said sothing?"

She shook her head and stood up, "Archi might wake up any mont, please look after him," she went to the door and ran out.

Elena sat there puzzled, "huh? What is the matter with everyone?"
