He knew well what everyone wanted, and it just seed like the perfect plan; however, Darius also knew that things wouldn’t go so smoothly as far as Leonard was concerned.
“I’m not interested in fucking her,” Leonard stated without bothering to mince his words.
“That’s what I thought. Who knows? Things might change when the moon is full...” Darius said before he forced a smile.
“And then what? What happens after that when the moon is no longer full?” Leonard asked defiantly.

Knowing that there wasn’t anything else that he could say to change Leonard’s mind, Darius left the room after exchanging a few parting words with his brother.

The day that I dreaded arrived the following day. The change started when Mada Cassandra inford bright and early in the morning before breakfast that Lady Regina had summoned for to see her at her palace. I had no idea what she wanted to talk to about and none of that interested . The only thing that bothered and captured my attention was the fact that I wouldn’t be able to go to the stables today.
Perhaps, without realizing it, yesterday was the last day that I would get to work at the stables and also my last day with him.

I knew that maids were not allowed to sit down in the guest’s seat or any seat in the palaces. Lady Regina should know this as well, so I had no idea why she was being so kind to . After spending the morning and the early afternoon cleaning the hallways of the palace based on Sophie’s instructions, I was finally summoned to et Lady Regina.
“Thank you for your kindness, My Lady, but I’d rather stand,” I replied while making sure to keep my tone polite and humble.
“Is that so? I’ve heard good things about you and the work that you’ve done especially at keeping the stables clean,” Lady Regina said before she smiled sweetly at .
I was glad that she was complinting . It seed like I had done well and hopefully that ant that she had other tasks for . I did enjoy my ti at the stables, and I would love to continue working there; however, there were probably other work that she wanted to do.
“Thank you for your kind words, My Lady,” I replied before returning her smile.
“I have to say that I didn’t know what you could ride. Care to accompany the next ti that I go riding? Usually, I take Sophie with , but I wouldn’t mind taking you along as well,” Lady Regina suggested with a beautiful smile.
“That...That would be nice, My Lady...” I murmured in reply.
The way her eyes looked at made feel uncomfortable. It was like she was implying that I had done sothing wrong, and she knew about it. How did she know that I could ride?
The truth was that I didn’t know how to ride up until very recently because that man just taught . Nothing else would explain her knowledge about this recent developnt in my skill unless she saw riding a horse or him teaching . Maybe she didn’t see it herself, but soone had told her. My eyes shifted to Sophie who was standing at her lady’s side as my brain made the connection.
“To reward you for working so hard for , I have decided to give you a special opportunity to showcase even more of your skills as a maid. Please keep this to yourself because it is confidential.
