“Let try that again. Did you know or did you think that I was worried?” I asked.

“What are you trying to get at, Mila?” he asked without beating around the bush.

I wasn’t trying to play gas with him, and my question was just as it sounded. I wondered if he just guessed that I would be worried and that I wanted the girls to be saved or did he actually know with absolute certainty that that was what I wished for.

“I...wonder if you could have read my mind...” I replied softly.

The way the prince’s eyes stared deeply into mine told that he understood the true aning behind my words. I didn’t an it in the taphoric sense but in the literal sense. It did occur to that the prince may have sohow read my mind and figured out what I wanted. Prince Leonard had a slightly conflicted look on his face as if he was debating what he was going to say to next. That was enough to let know that I must have guessed correctly.

As far as I was aware, all we were able to do was communicate when our minds were connected. It took quite a lot of physical interaction and stimulation for our minds to connect and once they did, we could communicate with each other without the need to speak. That was all it was supposed to be. However, things started to change when I began seeing scenes that I had never seen before in my life during the tis when I was mating with the prince. I haven’t yet found the right ti and place to bring up what I saw to the prince, but it did occur to that if I could see those scenes then perhaps the prince could do the sa.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t an to look through your mories,” Prince Leonard apologized with a solemn look on his face.

Look through my mories?

At first, I wasn’t even sure what he ant by that or if I had heard him correctly. It was beyond unexpected, and I didn’t quite know how to make sense of what he had just told .

He looked...through my mories?

“My mories? How? When?” I questioned blankly.

I found it hard to believe that sothing like that was possible, but then again, so many things that I had believed were impossible beca possible after I t the prince. If we could communicate with our minds, then it may not be a stretch for him to go through my mories.

“I’m sorry, Mila. I didn’t an to go through your mories. It just kind of happened. At first, I saw random glimpse of this and that and then I started seeing more and more,” Prince Leonard explained.

Although it was clear that Prince Leonard was putting in a lot of effort to explain what had happened to , his words were almost lost to as my mind worked hard to piece everything together. I felt my entire face go numb when I finally realized that the scenes that I had witnessed before in my mind might have been a part of the prince’s mories of the past. If that was the case, the prince wasn’t the only that was supposed to be feeling guilty.

“No, that’s fine. Really, it’s fine. You see...I also...” I confessed before trailing off.

“Did you happen to see sothing?” the prince asked curiously.

“I didn’t go through your mories...” I said quickly to prevent any further misunderstandings.

I wasn’t sure how much of my mories that the prince saw but I only saw that one scene. Although I’ve seen it more than once, I didn’t see anything else at all and because of that, I wouldn’t really say that I had gone through the prince’s mories.

“I see...” he murmured.

“Wait, before that. What did you an when you said that you went through my mories? As in, what did you see and how much did you see?” I asked without hiding my shock.

Violation of privacy was one thing, but I was certain that I had quite a lot of embarrassing mories that I didn’t want the prince to see. It would have been fine by if just like he had just seen one or two random scenes from my mories; however, it didn’t feel like that was the case. Perhaps the prince could see more from my mories than I could from his mories.

Just how much is he able to see?

“I don’t think that I can see everything but...I can see most things...” he replied a little hesitantly.

I was speechless as I felt my mouth hang open in shock. It was clear that the prince felt guilty about peeking into my mories but if he was tuning down on the amount that he could actually see, doesn’t that just an that he could basically see all or almost all of my mories.

“It’s true that at first, I saw very random glimpse of scenes that didn’t make sense but as ti went by, I managed to see more, and I could sort of sift through your mories...” he confessed as he watched my reaction.

“As in you can choose what you want to see?” I asked as I tried to understand what he was telling .

“Sothing like that. Imagine if your mories are written down in books arranged on a bookshelf in chronological order then I’m able to pick out the books that I want to see,” he explained before grinning wryly at .

I was too shocked to care about the fact that the prince did have a look of guilt on his face. His explanation made it crystal clear that the level at which the prince could see my mories was on an entirely different level from what I could manage to see with his. Unlike , he seed to have so control to pick and choose what he wanted to see while I just saw whatever randomly appeared and it wasn’t at all that much.
