Why did he have to say sothing like that?
The sound of the prince’s amused laughter sounded loud and clear from behind . It seed like I had served as another kind of entertainnt again. Although I felt extrely embarrassed and all I wanted to do was hide away, I found myself smiling a little in relief that the prince seed to have returned to his usual good mood. The prince beca silent behind , and I turned around in wonder to look at him.
“The moon will be full again in a few days...” Prince Leonard said with a faraway look in his eyes after his laughter died down.
The night of the full moon...
Because of how the calendar was ford, there would be one full moon night every month. I haven’t been keeping track of the moon, but it seed like the night of the full moon was fast approaching. I never thought that the moon would play a significant role in my life in any way but since the start of my involvent with the prince and finding out that he’s got werewolf blood in him, the phases of the moon seed to have so effects on our lives.
I could still recall the complex way that the last full moon night played out for us and that made wonder in a mix of fear and curiosity about what would happen in a few days’ ti when the moon would be full again.
“What...is going to happen on that night?” I asked after mustering up my courage to speak up.
“What do you think will happen?” the prince asked as his blue eyes stared deeply into mine.
My heart clenched tightly in my chest as my lips went dry just at the thought. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t have a reasonably good idea of what was going to happen on that night.
“Will we...be together?” I asked in a small mumble as I wondered if that was what I wanted as well.
Many thoughts ran through my mind as I recalled the confusing events of the last full moon night and the brief period that led up to it. It was the first ti that sothing like that had happened to , and I wasn’t sure if it was all just a coincidence or if it was supposed to be a normal occurrence. No matter what, it was hard for to imagine that my body would have those kinds of reactions to the phasing of the moon. After all, it had never happened to before for all the years that I’ve lived.
“Do you want us to be together?” he asked before his beautiful lips curved into an alluring smile.
My gaze fell onto his lips, and I could almost feel the touch of his lips on mine and his taste filling my mouth as he thrusts his tongue into the depth of my mouth. Then his tongue would move against mine and I would moan from the pleasure...and then...
I gasped as my eyes widened in shock at the direction that my thoughts had taken and the fact that all it took was a brief look at the prince’s smile. A loud smacking sound rang out in the peaceful bedroom and a slightly stinging pain spread through my cheeks.
“What are you doing?” the prince asked as he cocked his head slightly to the side in confusion.
“Oh...” I murmured when I realized that my hands had just lightly slapped my cheeks.
It just seed like the easiest way to get myself to focus on what was going on in front of instead of imagining and having such lusty thoughts. The prince was talking to and I could barely focus my undivided attention on his words. I felt so disturbed by my own lewd thoughts and how dirty my mind seed to have beco along with my body.
“I was just...trying to focus...I guess...” I attempted to explain while hoping that it didn’t seem so strange.
“Answer , Mila...” the prince demanded for an answer to his question from earlier.
It was strange how it seed like we could have a conversation simply by asking each other questions in succession. I quickly realized that we probably both knew what the answers to those questions that we kept asking each other were.
If I had to choose then...
“Do you want us to be together?” I asked in a small voice.
I thought that I had so courage although not a lot of it in my body; however, I couldn’t bring myself to voice my own honest thoughts and desires directly. In a way, I felt slightly shaful for it but I told myself that there was nothing so wrong about a girl being shy to voice her thoughts so directly. In the end, I turned out to be a bigger coward than I had initially thought.
We were both just beating around the bush, and it did occur to that there may not be another option than for the two of us to be together on the night of the full moon.
“I’ll leave that for you to decide. I can request for you if you want to. Alternatively...” the prince replied before his shoulders lifted into a careless shrug.
Mada Sand’s explanation of how things worked in the Sacred Chambers ca back too loud and clear for my own liking. He could request for , alternatively, he could request for soone else. I stared at the prince’s attractive face when I was reminded of just how much my life depended on capturing and maintaining the prince’s favor.
Does the prince favor now?
Probably...to a certain extent...
For how much longer he would favor and be interested in , I had no idea...
If I no longer pleased him and he no longer desired , what would happen to then?
I was more curious than scared of what would happen to and I was surprised that I wasn’t exactly worried about myself or what would beco of .
