“Prince Leonard...” I called his na softly to get his attention.
“What is it?” he asked.
Now that I had his undivided attention, I was at a loss for words. I didn’t know how to ask him this without it sounding strange. He must think that I’ve lost my mind for sure...
“That evening when you ca to find at the bathhouse...” I began saying before I hesitated.
“What about it?” he asked with his eyes glued to my face.
“I was wondering...how you knew where I was...” I asked before biting on the inside of my lower lip anxiously.
“Do you have any guesses?” he asked before he smiled warmly at .
I wished that he would just give a straightforward answer, but I guess not everything in life was simple and easy.
“You’ll probably think that I’m crazy but...I think I heard a voice...” I confessed shyly.
“A voice?” he asked as his blue eyes widened at curiously.
Ok, he must think that I’ve gone nuts and maybe I really have. I’ve just told him that I’ve been hearing voices inside of my head.
“Yes. Suddenly, I had an intense headache and when Prince Florian saw that I wasn’t feeling well, he tried to help . He wanted to take to see the doctor, but I couldn’t really move by myself anymore. My head hurt too much...” I told him honestly.
“Then? What happened after that?” the prince quickly urged for to go with my story.
“Well, I think...I heard a voice inside my head...” I confessed before biting down hard on my lower lip.
The prince didn’t seem shocked at all at my confession. Instead, he seed extrely interested in what I had just told him.
“What did you hear? What did the voice inside your head say to you?” he asked as his face ca even closer to mine.
“It asked where I was...” I told him as I recalled the voice that I heard.
“And what did you do after that?” he asked as his blue eyes searched mine.
“I...I replied. I didn’t say it out loud but, inside my head, I replied and told the voice where I was...” I said as confusion started taking over again.
Suddenly, everything felt so spooky and mysterious. It was like I was dealing with so paranormal phenonon, and I wasn’t a fan of such things. Of course, I also never thought that sothing like that would happen to . I did consider that I may simply be ntally ill.
“I see...” the prince murmured before he smiled at .
“Umm...do you think, I’m...ill?” I asked hesitantly.
I didn’t want to use the word ‘crazy’, but it was surely what I was thinking.
Suddenly, I felt a slight weight on the top of my head and realized that the prince had placed his large hand on my head and then his laughter echoed all around us in the bedroom. Prince Leonard laughed so hard that he had tears in his eyes while I simply watched him. His large hand moved to stroke my hair comfortingly until he stopped laughing.
“You’re not crazy. You’re just special...” he told after his laughter had died down.
“Isn’t that just another way of saying that I’m...not normal?” I asked.
“Hmm...you’re not normal for sure and you’re extrely special for sure too. There’s nothing wrong with your brain and you’re not crazy,” he said with certainty.
“How do you...know that?” I asked while feeling even more confused than before.
“It’s simple, really. Before you felt your headache, do you rember what you did?” the prince asked.
What I did?
I was in the bath with Prince Florian and then he started touching and saying strange things that scared and then...
“You called for help, didn’t you? In your mind, you called my na and asked to save you, didn’t you?” Prince Leonard asked knowingly.
I called for Prince Leonard to help ?
Now that I think about it, sothing like that must have happened. I thought of him and wished that he would co to save . However, I never called out to him out loud and even if I did, I was sure that he couldn’t hear because he was nowhere in sight. So, how did he know where I was?
“I...wished for you to co and save ...” I replied as my brows drew together in a frown.
“That’s right. You were lucky that I just got back from my official duties and heard your call,” he replied before he smiled at again.
“You heard ?” I asked in pure disbelief.
How can he possibly hear when I didn’t call out to him?
“Loud and clear. I heard you, in here...” the prince said before he tapped his index finger softly against his temple.
“That’s not possible...” I muttered in shock as my hands and feet suddenly felt extrely cold.
“You’re right. It’s not usually possible. That’s why I believe that you are special. At least, to , you’re probably soone special...” he said like he didn’t want to admit or believe it himself.
I’m ‘probably’ soone special to him?
“I’m sorry but I don’t understand...” I said as I shook my head from side-to-side.
“I don’t really understand it either but I’m sure enough now that sohow our minds can communicate with each other,” Prince Leonard said before he chuckled.
I could tell that he didn’t want to believe that sothing like this was possible either. It clearly wasn’t normal, and I still wasn’t convinced that it was really possible.
“I don’t think that it’s possible. It might have been a coincidence...” I mumbled.
“There’s a way to find out for sure, if I’m not wrong,” the prince said as if deep in thought.
“How?” I asked and I had to say that he had perked my curiosity.
“Let’s experint to see if we can communicate with our minds right now...” he suggested.
Even if he said that, I had no idea how to do it.
“What do we have to do...exactly?” I asked intriguingly.
