Tristan was ready to leave by mid-afternoon. He had spent hours deliberating on his decision and he was still not totally agreeing with himself.
Instead of returning as a stronger version of himself, he was going back weaker than how he left.
"Are you sure this is what you really want?" Nita asked as they walked to join Boston in the car.
"It’s not about what I want, it’s just what I have to do.
If I have the opportunity I would be half way across the world chasing penguins on an island or camping sowhere." He replied with a forced smile.
"Oh, poor child". Nita said with a sob and they both laughed.
"Maybe we can do that together in the future". Nita said excitedly.
But Tristan shook his head.
"That doesn’t seem plausible". He replied but was grateful that she was trying to lighten the mood.
They bid themselves goodbye with a tight hug and Tristan entered the car with a heavy heart.
"Don’t forget you can always co back here!" She yelled after him and he nodded.
Nita stood and watched the car disappear out of sight with a heavy heart.
She silently wished things would go well for him this ti.
She turned back to the direction of the house and bumped into a wall.
"Huh? When did a wall grow out of the thin air?". She thought with a frown until a pair of strong arms steadied her.
She imdiately moved back after realising she bumped into a person and not a real wall.
She glared at the Alpha King, his presence has never ant peace for her.
"Where is he going?" Alpha Raul asked as he casually dipped his hands in his pocket.
Nita didn’t say a word and simply stared at him.
"Are your ears not working properly?" He asked again, annoyed that she had plainly ignored him.
"Why don’t you go after him to ask?
It’s easier that way". Nita replied and wanted to turn around but he swiftly caught and pinned her against the wall with his hand holding her neck
Nita forced out a scream as she clawed at his hand.
"I have warned you about the words that co out of your mouth". He said in a low and dangerous voice as his eyes montarily traveled to her lips
Nita’s eyes widened but the defiance behind them as she glared at him only made him more mad.
He released his hold on her neck but didn’t let her go completely.
"You disappeared for days without a word and you think you can waltz in here to ask questions. Try again!" She yelled.
Alpha Raul burst out laughing at what she said.
"Did you miss ?" He asked, his breath fanning her face.
Nita’s mind blanked.
"Miss him? No! Never!
I must be crazy to do so" She thought in a frenzy.
He finally took a step back and allowed her to go back inside the house.
He followed closely behind with eyes roaming over. He had co here for sothing else but he had spent the last few days thinking about her hence he got distracted quickly.
she had such an effect on his body that he had failed to ease no matter how hard he tried.
Nita was oblivious of his gaze on her, or the thought running through his mind and she rely opened the door to her apartnt and he followed her inside.
"I do not know where he-
She did not get to finish what she wanted to say when he suddenly kissed her violently.
Nita’s eyes widened and she froze in his arms.
Her heart beat fast and she pressed her lips together. Her senses stopped working and she could not react fast to his kiss.
He gently bit down on her lower lips and she groaned in pain but simultaneously opened her mouth.
His arms brought her closer to his body and she slowly succumbed to the kiss.
She let out a soft moan as his hands road her body.
Her senses sent a signal for her to push him away and she did but he did not budge against her force.
Alpha Raul smirked against her lips and broke the kiss.
Nita looked up at him without shying away.
She didn’t want to let him know her heart was beating wildly in her chest or that she was scared of what he might do to her.
"You are still very skinny, when will you ever add more flesh to these bones?" Alpha Raul asked with a slight chuckle and Nita’s face fell.
Pushing hard against his chest she tried to get away but his grip was too hard to break for an Oga like her.

Tristan beca more nervous the farther the car went.
What if the Alpha simply throws him out or refuses to see him?. But it was too late to go back on his decision. He has no choice but to face it.
He fell asleep a few minutes later. Boston glanced at him from the rear view mirror with a shake of his head.
He pitied the Oga, the Alpha has more than enough Ogas that could replace him but he has no one else.
They arrived after a while and he had woken up shortly before.
His body felt heavy as he ca out of the car.
The sight of the huge mansion weighed heavily on his heart but he sighed and stood firm.
He wasn’t doing this for himself but for his unborn child.
He thought.
The n on guard outside the mansion were surprised by the sudden appearance of the Oga but when Boston ca out of the car and carried his bag they all looked away in confusion.
Tristan was glad when Boston led the way, he quickly followed him.
He led him to the Alpha’s study and as he knocked on the door Tristan’s hand beca sweaty.
The Alpha’s voice invited them in from inside and they both walked inside but froze because of the sight in front of them.
Tristan felt a jabbing pain in his heart and he looked down as it beca hard to breathe.
