Nanli listened and thought carefully for a mont: "Wait, logically speaking, you all were assigned rooms randomly. There’s no way soone could have predicted exactly where Master Yun would stay..."

She then looked up at the roof tiles.

With a flick of her hand, she summoned a Talisman.

Golden light flashed, and with a loud crack, a tile fell to the ground and split in two. Inside it, there was a hidden Talisman!

Everyone stared in shock.

The Crimson Glow Peak Master imdiately cried out, "This... this is a listening Talisman!"

Nanli stepped on the broken tile, and the Talisman fully revealed itself.

The power of the Talisman was weak, and it had been hidden inside the special material of the tile, which is why the detection tools hadn’t picked it up.

Qing Feng’s face turned pale. He hadn’t expected such an oversight.

He hurried over and recognized the Talisman. It was drawn by Qingwu, and he was confused: "That old fox... didn’t he occupy Jialan Celestial Mountain for a thousand years? Why would he resort to such thods?"

"Because he’s disloyal, that’s why he needs to keep an eye on others," Nanli replied. "It seems that all the renovated rooms have this Talisman hidden inside."

Yun Shen was overjoyed. "Now, we have proof of Master’s innocence!"

It wasn’t Yun Yubai who leaked the information, but rather soone inside Jialan Celestial Mountain who had already colluded with Shang Jue.

Yun Yubai breathed a sigh of relief.

Yun Jianchu added, "Nanli, I knew it! You’re not only beautiful, but smart and clever, too."

She glanced at Xin Chuan and sarcastically added, "As Nanli said, only soone full of bad intentions would think others are the sa. Do you see? My son is innocent!"

Xin Chuan snorted and turned away.

However, Nanli was all smiles, her eyes sparkling as she muttered, "It really couldn’t have been easier. This is great! So great!"

Chu Yang noticed. "Sixth sister, what are you talking about?"

Bai Hao squeezed in, "Yeah, tell us! Let us enjoy the excitent, too."

Nanli’s eyes flickered mischievously, and she said, "My Glassy Bottle should be found soon."

At that very mont, a rumble echoed from a certain part of Jialan Celestial Mountain.

Though the mountain trembled slightly, it was nothing compared to the earlier attack by Shang Jue. The vibration was nearly negligible.

Bai Hao saw this and imdiately said, "Looks like sothing’s happened. I’ll go help Venerable Master!"

He was already out the door, disappearing in an instant.

Qing Feng’s expression changed. "Why do you think it’s your turn to help the Venerable Master?"

He quickly followed after Bai Hao, not because he cared about the situation but because he wanted to avoid receiving a punishnt later.

A loud sound followed, and a voice could be heard crying out in the distance: "Celestial Sovereign, spare ! Spare !"

Nanli froze for a mont, and then nervously said, "Siheng, you didn’t kill him, did you?"

Her face shifted slightly as she disappeared.

The others exchanged glances and, without needing anyone to speak, they all went out to see what had happened.

At the base of the long steps, in front of the mountain gate, a disciple lay on the ground, covered in blood, weakly kneeling.

Siheng stood tall in a dark robe, his bearing impeccable. His face and deanor were beyond comparison, and he stood there silently, his eyes cold and indifferent.

Nanli arrived first.

When she saw the scene, she blurted out, "Wow, Siheng, you’re really ruthless."

The disciple’s body seed to have no intact flesh or bones left.

The others quickly arrived and gasped in shock.

They hadn’t expected the usually aloof Siheng to show such ruthless tendencies.

Bai Hao clicked his tongue, "Venerable Master, we haven’t even investigated yet. Was it really necessary to use such harsh thods? We could’ve just captured him first, right?"

Xin Chuan had an ulterior motive. "Be careful, good sister. One day, if you fall out with Siheng, he’ll treat you just the sa."

Yun Jianchu refused to stay silent. "What nonsense are you talking? Haven’t you seen Nanli’s fierceness when dealing with enemies? She’s even worse than this! Who should be careful, that’s still up in the air."

Cinian and the others didn’t dare to speak up.

Yun Jianchu’s words weren’t wrong.

Nanli’s lips twitched.

"Yun Jianchu, you really don’t have to say anything."

But Siheng, who had previously shown cold indifference, now softened his tone when speaking to Nanli. "Don’t listen to them. He tried to break the barrier and hurt himself."

Nanli blinked. "You set up the barrier so powerfully?"

"The Sky Plough Pearl added so rebound energy," Siheng explained.

Before Nanli could respond, the disciple shouted loudly, "That’s not it! I was just injured in my Dantian! He was afraid I’d kill myself, so not only did he destroy my Dantian, but he shattered all my bones!"

The disciple shouted in agony, then coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Without the support of his bones, he was about to collapse to the ground.

Siheng imdiately raised his hand, whipping out a spiritual lash that lifted the disciple’s body back up.

His voice was cold.

"Stop talking so much."

Because of this disciple’s leaking of information, nearly causing harm to A’Li, Siheng didn’t hold back.

But he didn’t want Nanli to know that.

After all, whatever she heard or saw would be the sa as the child hearing or seeing it, right?

At that mont, the soft disciple was suspended in the air by the lash, creating an odd and unsettling scene.

The Twelve Shans and Yun Shen looked on with surprise.

They couldn’t understand why the Celestial Sovereign, once famous throughout the Immortal World, would now act with such cruelty.

Bai Hao noticed their reactions and raised his chin. "You young monks don’t understand. We old folks knew he was always this ruthless."

Xin Chuan shot him a look. "So why did you say earlier that he used excessive force?"

Bai Hao replied, "I forgot after not seeing him for so long. I’m telling you, when I was young, he was just this ruthless!"

Cinian nodded. "Yes, actually, a thousand years ago, there were many devil cultivators. Aside from the two from Limitless Palace, Venerable Master often went out to exterminate them. But these devil cultivators were very tight-lipped, so Venerable Master had to use harsh thods to force them to confess and reveal their strongholds. In the end, he wiped them all out in one go."

Siheng’s reputation was built on this.

At the ti, they were only a few hundred years old, still at the Golden Core level, and could only assist from the sidelines.

But Siheng’s ruthless thods left an indelible mory in their minds.

They still rembered it vividly.

Just thinking about it made them shiver.

Compared to that ti, Siheng was now showing so rcy.

Xin Chuan’s thoughts were churning as he watched Nanli’s reaction.

Sure enough, she frowned!

She must have been disgusted by Siheng’s ruthlessness!

Even Siheng himself felt a bit nervous and quickly said, "I was wrong. I won’t be so harsh next ti."

Nanli lightly covered her mouth and nose, turning away from the bloody scene.

She shook her head. "No, it’s not that. My body’s not quite right right now. Looking at this just... makes feel a bit... ugh—"

She imdiately dry-heaved.

Not just the blood, but also the unpleasant sll from the disciple’s fear-induced incontinence, mixed with his bodily waste on the floor, created a foul stench.

As the wind blew, Nanli’s face turned pale.

"A’Li!" Siheng hurried to support her when he realized what was happening. "It’s my fault. I was so careless."
