He placed his hands on top of the table and leaned in.
“I was doing great abroad yet Ms. Ma started spreading rumors about being terminally ill? You are also falsely saying I agreed to have your son take over? Just what trick are you playing?”
Ma Xiaoyun was in a daze. Leng Yan’s never talked to her in this tone.
Even though he never called her “mom”, he had always called her “aunty”.

“Being abroad ans I’m not busy?” Jun Yexuan said, “Plus, I was abroad for an important eting. Must I let all my competitors know just so they can sneak in and try to get a sliver of the pie?”
Ma Xiaoyun was forced to shut up. The executives, however, gained energy, “CEO, what kind of business did you get us this ti?”
Jun Yexuan turned his head and smiled, “You know of third young master Jun and first young master Qi? They are two of the most influential n in this world. This ti, I went to the Capital Country to discuss a big project with them. I’ve now partnered up with the Qi family and the Jun family. I’ve now opened up doors for the Leng family in the entire Capital Country.”
Yu Mo coughed beside him. This third young master Jun sure has thick skin.
He was good at complinting himself without feeling the slightest shyness.
The executives were ecstatic at this news.
“The Jun and Qi families from the Capital Country! This partnership is no joke!”
“To partner up with them? This ans our company is growing!”
“So the CEO has been away because he is out there doing great things!”

Ma Xiaoyun was a little embarrassed to hear all the mocking comnts.
Leng Yan’s words confused her even more.
“You said you went to the Capital Country… to discuss business with third young master Jun and first young master Qi? But.. aren’t they at your ho?!”
Jun Yexuan, “You don’t understand how the world works? Since we decided to partner up, of course, they need to co and inspect how the market is here in this country!”
Sothing felt wrong to Ma Xiaoyun.
Beside her, Leng Jie grabbed her hand and swung it around. He pointed to his bandaged-up face and croaked out so “ah, ah, ah”.
