Qiao Qing remained stoic. For so reason, sothing didn’t sit well with her but she couldn’t place her finger on it.

He then walked up the stairs himself.
It was physically draining for Leng Yan to go up the stairs.
He acted tough until he turned the corner and had to hold onto the wall to stabilize himself.
He felt another mouthful of blood going up to his throat and he once again swallowed it.
His vision started to get blurry as he headed for his bedroom. His steps also beca unstable.
Zhou Xin walked up to help Leng Yan, “Young…”
Leng Yan shushed him and allowed Zhou Xin to help him into his bedroom.
