When the rest of the red stream reached them, Seth controlled it and expanded it into a bigger cocoon while also enclosing the Chief within.
At the sa ti, Seth was exited from another side, as he was suffocating from lack of breath but didn't forget to increase the hold to trap the chief monster more.
But the chief might have beco sowhat mindless, it was smarter than that, he extricated himself by condensing a ball of light in his hand and then struck the red cocoon. Which instantly vapourised half of it.
And then the monster moved fast and appeared before Seth and struck him in the neck, his nails were sharp and emitted heat without being able to react.
Seth's hand squeezed the two red stones and he poured his aura inside which activated their full power. Out of nowhere, a tsunami flooded the entire street so damn fast without even seth realizing what happened.
Bang!
Seth was struck on the neck, his Shifting Armour protected him from the claws but that didn't say he escaped without injury. Before another strike ca, this ti the claws were coated in a yellow energy blast that threatened to singe him, that was when the flood reached them.
Seth with his red stripe cloak was a fish in water, also his Signature Red kicked on and he felt his power increase while the Chief struggled and they were swept by the flood.
That didn't stop Seth from commanding the red liquid to trap the chief.
"Woah!"
Seth breathed hard as he squeezed the whole tsunami and encased the Chief well into a semi-solid red liquid. And he kept commanding the liquid to squeeze small until he couldn't make it any smaller.
At the sa ti, his short sword pointed at the red ball that was now bubbling with extre heat.
Using Aura Sight, Seth was able to segregate the red and the Chief monster inside and what he saw scared him.
The amount of heat the chief monster was releasing was ten tis hotter than the earlier dragon breath without the dragon might, of course. it can instantly lt the nearby steel.
The thing about Red Manipulation Seth has was that it can affect and influence anything red. Using Red Stone Signature, his ability was amplified greatly, not to ntion that River Stone gave him the ability to manipulate the river, he was able to suppress the heat and the boiling nature of the effect of the chief.
But Seth can only quench the bubbling heat as the chief seems to have unlimited energy. And also the glowing yellow cores that were floating around began to disappear and increased the power of the chief.
At the sa ti, so strange writing appeared on the bubbling red liquid and their appearance caused the Red Liquid to change its colour to yellow.
Seth was forced to manipulate the red liquid and erase the damn inscription.
One thing though as his aura sight was active, he can see that re writing has power and even after it was erased Its effect lingered.
Short Sword was floating above Seth and he managed to aim well at the chief but a yellow forcefield pulsed and pushed the blade away.
Seth imdiately knew what was the cause, the short sword needed support to truly pierced it.
Now he has to make a decision, to store away River Stone and grab the short sword or continue the battle of attrition. But the problem was, can he hold the creature in place with the River Stone?
The answer was, No!
Keeping his attention on erasing the strange writing and its effect was hard alone, let alone reducing the strength of the hold.
At that mont a strange word was written that even after it was erased, the effect stayed longer, he felt his physical strength being pressed down and being pushed away to reduce his influence on the red liquid.

His exertion points run down like open tap water. At the sa ti, the pressure was weighing down on him to the point he was feeling dizzy.

His skin was peeling already due to heat that was perating from the red liquid. However, his mind was running wild trying to co up with a way to save himself as he tried to ignore the pain.
His brain runs through so many scenarios of surviving due to his cloak's new ability but he dismissed it, and then the idea ca to him. One that seed valid enough!
He made his short sword co to him and he grabbed it by the mouth and then poured all the aura he could control at that pressured mont, into it, and then, "Shoot!"
Due to desperation Seth was able to add so force and made the elevated strike extra lethal because the blade was connected to him and was overflowing with aura and willpower.
The blade pierced the yellow force field with little resistance, passed through the red cocoon and struck the core of the chief.
But, what happened later was more dangerous than Seth anticipated as the chief exploded, evaporating the red cocoon and Seth was shot back due to the force and the yellow energy and the heat were about to slam at him.
The green cloak wrapped around him, and the yellow stripe on it, absorbed a lot of the yellow energy and heat while the damaged belt seth hung around him, also, sohow absorbed the yellow and heat energy.
But that was never enough and Seth felt the yellow light purging away all his aura within his body while the heat burned him away.
The shock was gone and Seth was still alive, sohow. He can also think and assess the situation.
Shifting Armour was red due to heat energy that burned it and it was emitting a yellow hue but it was not destroyed at all. Not even a crack.
The Green Hood Cloak, however, was burnt away, what remained was a little flap that was attached to Seth's attire and also the hood Seth rarely used.
The belt was intact and even glowing a bit, content it had drunk enough energy to partially recover.
From what Seth can see, his eyes proved to be resilient, but the lower part of his face has lted away.

His heart was beating, oblivious of what was happening but he knew that his skin and most of the flesh on his body had lted and cooked. His hand to elbows were no more, so also his legs to knees. Well, he can pretty much predict what state his insides were in.
There was no pain, the brain refused to process that.

Seth's eyes and consciousness were still active and he can see well thus he can feel his bodily functions slowing down.
The feeling was terrifying, and he prepared for the pain more than this. As this provoked the worst human fear possible, the fear of ceasing to exist anymore.
More than ever, his mind went into overdrive, trying to think of how to save himself.
There was the pill that healed injuries, he got from Juma, but he has no enough aura to affect the pocket and bring it out.
Even if he has, his lower face has lted and burnt and he can't move his jaws. Even if he can take it, his stomach can't digest it.
He focused on his Pure White Stone Will, trying to make it affect his body and thus stimulate it to heal him but it didn't work.
He focused on his Shifting Armour, hoping it may have the option to hold his body together and aid in healing but he knew it was a hopeless endeavour.
He turned off Shifting Armour and his normal fabric azure attire touched his dying body, and that was when a bit of a Good thing happened.
The attire firmly held his body and stopped the oil and liquid from oozing. Yes, he was cooked to that degree. But that was it, the azure attire did nothing to help in progressive healing.
Seth began to panic as his eyes wandered around, hoping for help to co and focusing more on the attire to see if he can take out things. Yes, he could take out things from his pocket.
And Seth kept bringing out things, his painting materials, his shield that he rarely uses, his seeds and fruits and the special Amma fruit. He ends up bringing a Guide Book, the one that inford him how to beco a resident in Red Valley. And the book opened on its own.
'Yes, please, have sothing that can help .'
Seth's hope was ignited as his eyeball focused on it. Seth couldn't move his head at all, let alone any of his body organs.
