"Psystrike!" Luo Yuan commanded wtwo.

As wtwo unleashed the attack, it felt that strange power augnting it once again.

Normally, after passing through its M2 Restraint, wtwo's psychic strength would be limited to about seventy percent of its full potential. But now, even through the restraint, the amplified force was reaching beyond a hundred percent.

With its intelligence, wtwo quickly deduced that this boost had sothing to do with Luo Yuan.

However, there was no ti to investigate.

Psychic energy surged from wtwo like a tidal wave.

With a crushing sense of oppression, the psychic onslaught flooded down over the League trainers below.

Designed with complex battle scenarios in mind, wtwo was created and later trained specifically by Giovanni for handling group battles. So dealing with the Pokémon down below was practically second nature to it.

In quick, efficient strikes, wtwo seized control of each Pokémon's body with its telekinesis, lifting them from the ground to strip them of mobility, then sent a ntal blast directly to their consciousness, knocking them out cold.

With wtwo efficiently subduing his forces, Bruno's face grew more grim.

This was sothing he hadn't expected, not even remotely. His entire plan was falling apart.

This had to be stopped.

"Hitmonlee, use Low Sweep!"

Hitmonlee launched a sharp sidekick toward wtwo, its leg extending as it struck upward with alarming speed.

Sensing the oncoming blow, wtwo furrowed its brow, preparing to counter Hitmonlee, but Luo Yuan cut in just in ti.

"Keep going; I'll handle this."

He stepped in, hefting the massive psychic spoon that wtwo seed to have an odd affinity for, channeling psychic power through it.

The spoon lengthened under the surge of psychic energy, swinging down to intercept Hitmonlee's kick.

BOOM!

The clash sent a shockwave through the air, and, by expending a considerable amount of psychic power, Luo Yuan had managed to parry a powerful strike from Bruno's Elite Hitmonlee.

Seeing this, even Bruno, who had long advocated for training humans to harness their full potential, couldn't help but stare, taken aback at the sight of his Elite Hitmonlee's kick being blocked by soone wielding a giant spoon.

Previously, he'd assud Machamp had been forced back due to an oversight.

But now, seeing his Hitmonlee's powerful kick deflected so cleanly... this was just ridiculous.

Of course, Luo Yuan wasn't as unfazed as he appeared. His arm was tingling and sore from the residual force that had been transferred through the spoon, even with his psychic defenses.

"Dealing with an Elite Hitmonlee is pushing my limits here."

But Luo Yuan's efforts had bought them critical ti. wtwo had already incapacitated most of the League Pokémon on the field.

A multitude of Pokémon, along with their trainers, lay sprawled out, knocked unconscious by wtwo's relentless psychic barrage.

Frankly, Luo Yuan could have ended things faster if he'd let wtwo finish them for good. But he wasn't looking for a deathmatch with the League; knocking them out would suffice.

Bruno scowled as he surveyed the fallen Pokémon, his gaze hardening as it landed on wtwo.

Earlier, he hadn't been certain, but now he was: wtwo was operating at a level well beyond even the Elite Four.

"Is this... another Legendary Pokémon?"

Bruno recalled the long-standing rumor that Rocket was trying to manufacture Legendary Pokémon—a rumor he'd once dismissed as absurd.

But now, looking at wtwo, he wasn't so sure.

If "Tech Hunter" possessed Deoxys, and now Rocket had created this "wtwo"... had Legendary Pokémon beco this common?

However Bruno felt about it, wtwo stood before him now, and he'd need to give everything he had.

Without hesitation, Bruno tossed out his remaining four Poké Balls.

Besides Machamp and Hitmonlee, Bruno's other team mbers—Hitmonchan, Priape, Poliwrath, and Throh—erged.

Bruno truly lived up to his title as the Fighting-type Elite; all six of his Pokémon specialized in Fighting-type moves, unlike a certain Flying-type Elite.

The six Pokémon sprang into action as Bruno shouted out his next commands.

"Priape, throw Hitmontop; Hitmontop, follow up with Close Combat!"

"Hitmonlee, ga Kick!"

"Poliwrath, Hydro Pump!"

Priape grabbed Hitmontop by the arms, flung it forward with all its might, and the spinning Pokémon lunged at wtwo.

anwhile, Hitmonlee launched a kick, while Poliwrath aid a jet of water toward Luo Yuan.

In perfect coordination, Bruno's team struck as one.

"Even the League's Elite resort to targeting trainers now, huh?" Luo Yuan muttered, forming a psychic barrier in front of himself to block the Hydro Pump.

Then he tossed the enormous spoon to wtwo.

"Catch!"

wtwo blinked, instinctively snatching the spoon out of the air.

The mont its fingers closed around the handle, wtwo felt a peculiar surge of connection.

Wielding the oversized spoon, wtwo felt as though it was simply an extension of itself, with psychic energy flowing seamlessly from its mind into the weapon.

wtwo plus the giant psychic spoon created a fusion of power that transford its entire aura.

If wtwo had been intimidating before, with the spoon in hand, it now radiated a keen, razor-sharp presence that made it nearly impossible to look at directly.

In the blink of an eye, the change took effect.

wtwo's ears caught the sound of sothing spinning toward it.

Turning, it saw Hitmontop spiraling its way.

In the past, wtwo might have opted to dodge or throw up a Reflect barrier.

Now, though, it had another option.

wtwo spun the giant spoon once in its hand, then swung it in a wide arc, directly at Hitmontop.

Bruno and Hitmontop hadn't anticipated wtwo's new weapon at all.

Unprepared, the fifty-kilo Hitmontop was sent flying in a single, decisive strike, rocketing back across the field as though wtwo had hit a ho run.

It was out of the park.

With that, wtwo turned smoothly, spoon at the ready, to et the incoming ga Kick from Hitmonlee.
