My gaze t with Kurtis’s pointed look and I nodded with understanding. There was more to it. Maybe, it could also be the reason why I had that dream last night and since the girls have clairvoyance, they also caught sothing. I decided I was going to wait until after the discussion to talk to Kurtis and Xavier about what I saw.

"No wonder!" Kurtis chuckled "One thing I know is we could use his irrationality as a tool against him. That’s his weakness. He makes careful plans but I don’t think he has a lot of control over his emotions. So, we have just one plan and that is to ensure that no eting of any sort takes place. I don’t know if it’s to round up all the kings and have them locked up sowhere. I don’t care if we take dire actions but we must make sure he doesn’t get to them at all,".
"Have you forgotten that a lot of people would be indoors today? Since the pack moon priestess declared that it would happen anyti this week. Once it’s evening, you won’t see anyone on the streets or out in the open. We could use that to our advantage too," I pointed out.

"We should send word to everyone – the Lycan Kings I an that they should close their door to all visitors. No one should et with anyone nor should they give them an audience. Everyone is to remain indoors until it passes. How about that?"
"Works fine" Kurtis nodded in agreent. "I already have my n on it. And we know that the Full dark moon plunges everything into chaos and uncertainty. All we can do is prepare, remain vigilant and have faith that the light will eventually co and that this will not be as bad as it used to be,".
I took a deep breath, trying to still the way my heart was pounding. There was a solution but I doubt if Noah and Xavier would approve of it. It involved using the girls and . We could turn the tide during the peak of the dark moon but the only problem is, since we would be drawing energy from it, we’ll definitely lose consciousness from this world and hence would need soone that would have our backs at that period to make sure that we’re not interrupted and we also do not lose our lives in the process.
"I’ll go and round up the guards to make sure everyone stays ho tonight also regarding those ships you told about, should we do anything about it?" Xavier asked.
"Not yet!" he said "We have to wait for them to strike before we do anything. Thankfully, everything is in place and I’ve given orders that they should fight as soon as they sense any form of hostility from the other party. So, it won’t be a problem,".
"Alright!" Xavier nodded "I’ll leave first. I have a lot of things to look into and..." his gaze trailed to "Kurtis said you wanted to see ?"
From the corner of my eyes, I noticed Noah eyeing us curiously. Shifting uncomfortably, I nodded "Yeah but since you’re going to do sothing, you could just find later and I’ll tell you. It’s regarding the girls by the way," I added hastily. "I want your opinion on sothing,".
"Alright," he agreed "I’ll find you later,". With that, he turned on his heels and left the room.
Then it was just , Noah and Kurtis and Noah was making zero attempts to leave next. I needed to be alone with Kurtis and tell him everything.
"I’m glad I have both of you here together," Noah broke the silence as his gaze moved from to Kurtis and back "I was told that you, Selene cradled Kurtis intimately in your arms yesterday. Care to explain that to ?"
"Explain what?" it was my turn to be surprised "And by intimately are you referring to just holding him to make sure we didn’t lose him? Wait!" I huffed noting the way his brows were arched "You are not aware of what happened here yesterday right? For your information, Kurtis was poisoned and was near death. I cradled him to give him dicine yesterday and it was not just in the room. The pack doctor and nurses with Xavier were here too. Do you think I would have behaved myself badly in front of those people?"
"Your majesty," Kurtis exhaled "I have no designs on your mate. There’s enough problem going on between you and your nephew and I’m not interested in being in a love triangle. It was because of her that I was able to survive. After all of this, we would deal with the fact that soone tried to poison ,".
"Maybe you should stop listening to your ex. I still don’t know why she’s hovering around you," I said bitterly.
"You don’t see complaining about Xavier hovering around you too," Noah retorted "I only wanted to clear things up, I didn’t accuse you but since you’re going about it guiltily, maybe there’s sothing you might be hiding,".
"I don’t have ti for this," I hissed and turned to Kurtis "I’ll co later to find you, okay,".
Without any word to Noah, I turned and left the office.
