Luciel rose from the ridge and reached out to touch the tea tree.
[Ding! A dosticable plant has been detected. Do you want to dosticate it?]
"Ta," Luciel commanded smoothly, already used to this process.
[Ding! Level 0 Lifeform: Green Tea Tree detected. Comncing dostication...]
[Ding! Dostication successful. Cost: 10 taming points.]
[Ding! Would you like to inherit the talent of the ’Starlight Tea Tree’: Brilliant Growth?]
"Inherit," Luciel said without hesitation.
[Ding! Inheriting talent... upgrading... adapting... inheritance complete.]
A fleeting surge of power rushed through his body, leaving behind only a faint trace. Luciel glanced at the tea tree, now transford. It had shot up from a re twenty centiters tall to half a ter.
The green leaves bore tiny erald specks that shimred like stars. The once plain tea tree had evolved into the Starlight Tea Tree.
But its ability still felt vague.
"Activate Brilliant Growth." Luciel tested the power, channeling it toward the withering tomato vines.
A faint green glow spread from his palm. The shriveled stems straightened, color returning as new life stirred.
When the glow faded, Luciel’s eyes lit up. "It can actually stimulate plant growth..."
In a world ravaged like this wasteland, the ability to catalyze plants was nothing short of divine.
Still, he wasn’t satisfied. "Good... but the effect is too weak."
Luciel’s gaze hardened. He decided to push further.
"System, evolve the Starlight Tea Tree to Level 3."
[Ding! Level 1 Starlight Tea Tree evolving to Level 3. Cost: 110 evolution points.]
[Ding! Evolution successful.]
[Ding! Talent evolved: Starlight Domain.]
[Ding! Trainer ability synchronized: Starlight Domain inherited.]
"Starlight Domain?" Luciel blinked, uncertain of what it ant.
Well, only one way to know.
"Activate Starlight Domain."
A hum resonated in the air.
Green radiance surged from his body, his clothes fluttering though no wind blew. Bathed in light, Luciel looked like a holy child descended from the heavens.
Within ten ters around him, every withered plant revived. Leaves unfurled, branches sprouted new shoots, and lifeless stems shimred with vitality once more.
"So that’s the Starlight Domain... It nurtures everything within its reach."
For the first ti, Luciel truly felt he had acquired a godlike power.
He opened the system panel.

...
The foundation of his strength now rested on three pillars: the Level 4 Rock Tortoise, the Level 3 Starlight Tea Tree, and the Level 1 Angel Wings. His lifespan alone had soared to an incredible 930 years.
"You’re my treasure now," Luciel whispered, gazing up at the Starlight Tea Tree. It had grown to two ters tall, its leaves shimring with clusters of three tiny green stars each.
"Xiao Cai, co work." He summoned the Tricolor Lizard, which slithered lazily from atop the tortoise shell.
"Hisss..."
"From now on, you guard the garden. Without my permission, no one is allowed to co near. The two girls are exceptions."
"Hissss!" The lizard flicked its tongue, then happily curled up beneath the tea tree.
Luciel rolled his eyes. "Don’t hog the spot. Go lie on the ridge."
The lizard sulked away, clearly aggrieved.
Luciel chuckled. Soday, when the tree grew taller, he would sit beneath it, sipping tea in its shade.
...
His eyes drifted across the lush garden. "The cabbage will give a few more harvests. Maybe even rapeseeds..." He licked his lips at the thought of cabbage soup but decided to wait. Harvesting too early would waste its value.
Instead, he plucked a few ripe tomatoes, warm and red in his palm.
"If only I had eggs," he sighed. Scrambled eggs with tomatoes would’ve been perfect. Still, tomato broth would do.
He sowed more seeds within the Starlight Domain’s ten-ter radius. "With this ability, it would be a waste not to."
After watering the soil and patting it flat, Luciel stepped back with satisfaction. "No, this isn’t a vegetable garden anymore. It’s a plantation."
For water, he had sothing special in mind. He returned inside and retrieved a barrel containing the crystal fish.
The water churned as soon as he cracked the lid, a glimr of crystalline liquid pressing through the gap.
"You’re lively enough," Luciel chuckled. "Tomorrow I’ll dig you a pond. You’ll like that better."
For now, he carefully guided the fish’s condensed water to irrigate the crops. Tomorrow, he would ta the crystal fish and expand his resources even further.
