Severin didn’t put their nas to his head. Their nas were just as identical as their faces, so much so that Severin thought soone must be really bad at naming or they just gave them for the joke of it.

Or maybe they took new nas when coming for the duel.

The first one to be called is on the chubby side, and he was one of the S ranked. He walked into the arena with a curious smile on his face.

Severin checked his aura, and it was indeed in the S rank of the Refined stage.

But he wasn’t as powerful as Lucas Dawn. They were not even in the sa league.

Even among the most powerful people in the world, there would still be the strongest and weakest. Among S ranks, there’s a difference between their powers. But compared to other ranks, the weakest S rank is incredibly powerful.

"Who will you send, Severin Reignhart?" Solari said, an amused smile on his face. He was interested in what was about to happen.

"Miret, who do you think your team will send? Is there a strategy we don’t know about?"

Miret frowned. In truth, he didn’t know exactly what Severin was playing at. He had seen Severin’s power and knew he could take on an S rank. He had, in fact, taken on two S ranked and killed them easily enough.

So why wasn’t he fighting? Did he have sothing that they don’t know about? What were his plans?

"I think you should just surrender, Miret. How do you think to form a team without any S rank? You put only A ranked and C," Ravyn shook his head. "This is an easy victory for us."

Nyssara frowned and nodded sternly. "Miret, you don’t have to bring pain to these children. You can just leave things now and accept that you have lost.

"The first round is already set on a loss. There’s nothing to be ashad of. Your team is a failure."

Severin looked at his team.

He had two A ranked and three rank C.

From that, both ranked A could be easily taken to rank S with his own Talent Ability. "Ethan Aldrich, you are on."

Ethan looked up and nodded sharply. He walked over to stand opposite the chubby one.

The prisoners couldn’t hold it anymore, and they began to shout and cheer, roaring out their bets. Most of them directly bet against Ethan.

What is an A ranked doing against an S ranked? Isn’t that just looking to be killed?

Ethan didn’t think so, and he blocked out the noise from disturbing him.

"What are you planning to do?" his chubby opponent asked. He was smiling, but the smile didn’t make his face any warr or show amusent.

"I am going to beat you without holding back. Try to withstand it," Ethan said.

His opponent frowned. "Is there sothing ntally wrong with you? How can you beat ? You’re A ranked and we are in the sa stage. Is this so sort of plan of yours?"

Ethan raised his hand, and the air around it rippled. "My training isn’t sothing that’s hard. I just need to resist getting torn apart with powers similar to my own.

"That ans I need to have perfect control of my power. I almost died, and maybe I would have if it was in my real body. But as it is, I have almost perfect control of my powers and even began to develop a new strand of my Talent Ability."

"What nonsense are you sprouting?"

Ethan clenched his fist. "Look. This is the power that Severin Reignhart helped develop. Open your eyes wide, and you still won’t see it coming."

Others didn’t, but Severin saw the halo that appeared above Ethan’s head as he used his power. Severin smiled.

So it began.

Ethan pointed.

Bam!

The air rippled like a cloth drying in the air, and a howling sound tore through the air. Only a few people saw the bullet slam into Chubby’s right leg.

The gravity bullet was so fast that only the guardians and so very experienced among the prisoners noticed anything.

Others only heard the sound... and the effects.

The attack slamd into his leg with bone-breaking force. Then the bullet exploded.

It wasn’t a normal explosion. It was sothing different. The bullet folded into itself and disappeared. Everything around it in its small area was also affected.

Bones cracked and flesh tore as they folded, tearing his limbs away with brutal force.

Silence.

That was what followed.

Every single person, including Severin and the team, was left in surprise and shock.

Eh?

Severin looked at Ethan with wide eyes. ’...what the fuck type of technique was that... where did he learn sothing like that...’

Even Chubby didn’t react at first and could only stare at his leg in surprise. The lack of his leg.

Then he shuddered as the pain hit, and he began to scream.

Ethan took a step forward. "Disappointing. I thought you would dodge that or shield against it. I really want to know how you would do against . You’re the most worthless S ranked that I’ve ever seen."

"No! Wait! Don’t co any closer, I didn’t..."

"Too late," Ethan said.

He raised his fist up into the sky, and his aura bellowed out, ripping through the air with force. It was a full S ranked aura, and everyone felt it.

His power rose, skyrocketed.

"This brat. He’s really not going to hold back!" Solari shouted.

Ethan brought down his hand.

There was a slight pause.

And then a rumbling, cracking sound spread out. Sothing with incredible weight appeared and slamd into the place where Chubby was lying.

The student turned into paste imdiately, and the ground shattered, forming a large dent, the gigantic size of Ethan’s fist.

Dust and shockwaves spread through the whole arena before things returned to a deep silence.

Ethan turned. "I guess I win this one? I’m the only one that’s standing."

A lot of people felt a chill then. That wasn’t a duel. It was a slaughter.
