Jason stepped outside, for the first ti in ten years he was finally feeling sothing akin to freedom, even though it was probably a 1% freedom.

There was no one in the vicinity even after he crossed all the land that marked the compound he stayed in he felt and saw no guards.

'They probably thought I wouldn't be able to even leave the compound out of fear and left to my own doings.' Jason reasoned as he looked at the item in his hand.

[Item: Simple Invisibility Potion

Cost: 200

Description: A normal, simple invisibility potion that masks the user and his/her aura and prevents detection from any source.

Duration: 15 minutes]

he smiled as he checked the description, an invisibility potion that would mask his presence from everyone as he sneaked into Zane Hachiman's training ground.

Thankfully, the author had put an info dump about the whole layout of all the clans. Before he thought that it was a mistake reading the info dumps but now he could see his good fortune.

He was currently at a store room, that could be deduced from the ti the maids carried stuff when he was being moved in.

The clan had several store rooms and he knew where each one was.

With a grin on his face Jason promptly drank the potion.

"It tastes like a dirty rag used to clean up shit." He groaned as the unpleasant taste clung to his taste-buds.

"Did it work." He asked himself after he got over the disgusting feeling, it was still there but he didn't pay much mind to it.

He could still see himself, however he decided to trust the system's item as he had used one before and it had... otherworldly effects.

He sprinted towards where he believed to be Zane's training grounds, after a while he finally saw so guards.

He saw so in plain sight acting like real guards while so pretended to be hiding, trying to look like they were acting stealthy but failing at it.

"Are these people suffering from so sort of ntal disease? If so then why would they be hired to guard the prodigy?" Jason wondered as he sprinted past them.

Luckily there was no door that required a code or advanced laser system that prohibited people's entry.

"All the guards stopped appearing?" Jason asked himself. "Does this an that I'm already in the training ground."

Soon enough he ca across several beaten up training dummies, they had several marks on them so suffering from burn marks, other beaten to the very last strand where they looked like disfigured humans rather than dummies.

'This is annoying.' He thought as he got closer to the center.

He glanced at the tir.

"Remaining five minutes." He muttered to himself as he reached the center.

[Invisibility has tid out]

That notification ticked him off, though Jason was able to see himself from the beginning he felt that his natural ability to repulse mana ca back.

Sothing that had been turned off while the potion was in effect.

"Who are you?" A voice asked.

Startled and surprised Jason looked at the person.

"Speak of the devil." Jason muttered as he looked at Zane.

A face that had almost lost all of its baby fat, deep blue eyes, a nubian nose and a small mouth but that was because he was still a child.

'It seems like the rewards will be more bountiful than I thought.' Jason smirked, sothing Zane thought to be downright creepy.

[Na: Zane Hachiman

Age: 11

Physical – Late Stage 1

ntal – Mid Stage 1

Mana – Late Stage 1

Skills: Null Eyes, Unwavering Will, Lightning Magic, Spirit steps.]

The system only identified skills as talents, that ant that the system will leave a void in sothing if the skill was common or he/she was not proficient enough in it.

The fact that he already had 4 skills and was a talent under each one proved that he was a true force to be reckoned it.

"I will not ask you again, who are you?" Zane asked, his voice with a tone of superiority.

Jason snapped out of his daze and looked at the kid in front of him.

"Who am I? I'm Jason. You can think of as your cousin." Jason said as he maintained a calm and carefree deanor.

"I have never seen you before, you are not one of my cousins. Besides, you look holess." Zane said.

'Oh great! Now everyone's a racist.' Jason rolled his eyes at Zane's word but didn't take it to heart.

"We are technically related since I'm the son of one of the elders." Jason explained as he noticed Zane's expression getting more serious.

"Funny. I've never heard of you." Zane said.

"Well you know how God is racist and because of that people like are an embarrassnt. So the mum and dad of every important person here decided to keep my na a secret and now here we are." Jason found it hard to communicate as he had not had a conversation with anyone his age for years and technically Zane was not 20 years to start with.

Zane seed to have a hard ti processing the words he heard from the dark-skinned boy in front of him as he began thinking.

'Did I suddenly adopt so kind of 5000 year old language after not having a real conversation for a decade?' Jason pondered as he watched Zane's expression morph to one of confusion.

"Mother did tell sothing about soone with dark-skin born into the clan. But until now I assud it was a bedti story." He admitted.

The corner of Jason's lips twitched, did this kid think he was a bedti story.

"But I believe that anyone who is an offspring of the elder would still be at least an average opponent to fight against. So put up your sword, prove that you are an adversary of sorts." Zane said.

:Kid... You sound more like a knight than the future clan head. Get a grip on yourself." Jason said after observing Zane's way of speaking.

"Also, I don't have a sword." He said.

Zane seed to have been prepared for this as he handed Jason the sword he was holding.

"I'd prefer a katana." He said.

"Then you should have brought your own." Zane said as he grabbed another sword from nearby.

"Fair point." Jason muttered as he got into a stance.

Zane stared at him in bafflent.

Jason couldn't argue, what he was using was not a fighting stance but rather a running stance.

He wasn't sure how he could correctly copy a stance that could be used in a battle so he went for the next best thing... A running stance.

Zane got into his own stance one that left him with little openings, and even the openings could be turned around.

This was a stance created by the Hachiman clan itself, covering defense and offense but overall was extrely difficult to learn.

The both of the boys backed away, getting a good distance away from each other as they knew that this would be a battle worth at least so minutes.

After observing each other for soti, Zane took the initiative.

Zane lunged at him, his speed unimaginable for a normal 10 year child.

Jason also sprung forward, but he too got ready for the clash that was about to happen.

However Jason was clumsy with the blade due to it being the first ti he used it, it looked like he was about to drop it clumsily at any second.

But he still managed to hold it, raising it up as he tried to slash but Zane countered, their blades eting each other.

A smirk was on both the boy's faces as they t.

They both knew that they would enjoy it, after all, none of them seed lacking...
