Leon originally sat on the reef by the sea but now walked off the rocks, strolling along the beach, trying hard to recall details from the ga, realizing that his knowledge of the ga’s plot was actually quite limited.
He only knew the general story arc; when it ca to specific details, he was a bit confused. No wonder, that ga was so well-crafted, with rich details that even after playing it multiple tis, he inevitably missed so plots. He rembered participating in online discussions back then, often discovering missed side stories, playing less might save him five bucks.
However, although his understanding of the ga’s plot wasn’t very thorough, he rembered clearly the hiding places and acquisition channels for those precious magic items, after all, he was a power-seeking player.
He was happy to do good deeds, but when it ca to rewards, to gain powerful rewards, he didn’t mind sacrificing seven thousand lives, completely unconcerned with ruthlessly dealing with Little Flying Elephant... his decisiveness also had sothing to do with Little Flying Elephant’s annoying personality.
Leon daydread for a while, left the beach, returned to the villa, found everyone still enthusiastically playing chess and cards, hesitated for a mont, cleared his throat, and said, "I have sothing to tell you all, I plan to leave for a while, while I’m away you’d better behave yourselves."
This warning was by no ans redundant.
Leon was certain that none of the colorful dragons around him were easy to handle.
Tassera seed to be getting slightly obsessed with raising her life level; if conditions allowed, she would definitely take risks to try Karsas’s Ascension Technique.
Under such circumstances, Laksha hoped every day for a war between the Zhen Dan Kingdom and the Talia Alliance; otherwise, there wouldn’t be enough corpses, her undead factory would be hard to sustain, and those forbidden knowledge she learned from the Undead Black Scripture also needed a large number of living humans as experintal subjects—currently, the number of delivered death row prisoners was shockingly low.
"Where are you going?" Cecilia put down her cards and asked.
"Ferren." Leon replied, "Not on our plane."
"Forgotten Realm?" Cecilia raised her eyebrows, "What kind of commotion are you planning this ti?"
Leon thought of the silhouette of the Ancient Death God which ran through the ga plot, banishing quasi-gods was just a flick of the wrist, and then the Dark Night Goddess and Magic Goddess appeared successively, said, "Not causing trouble, dare not cause trouble, fish for benefits amidst the chaos, then go around and co back."
"I want to go too!" Salovis raised her hand high and waved it, her eyes sparkling with excitent. As a red dragon, she liked to fish in troubled waters, mainly because her wealth had been increasing too slowly recently; at this rate, she would have to wait until who knows when to accumulate a million.
"I’m taking no one." Leon denied, pointing at Salovis, emphasizing, "Especially you, behave yourself."
"I’ve always been very honest." Salovis said defiantly.
Leon rembered the farce recently staged by Anglistra at her shop in Watchtower Port—reverse charge cancellation, hidden fees, short-weighting, raising prices despite products not selling under the pretense of recovering losses, resulting naturally in complete loss, finally he had to personally clean up the ss.
In comparison, Salovis, who did nothing but eat and sleep all day, was indeed considered honest.
Thinking about it, Leon felt disheartened for a mont.
Leon didn’t know how long he would be away; before leaving, he gave so instructions to each, checked carefully the elixirs he was carrying, and soon set off, heading to Ferren.
Since he had never been to Ferren before, Leon couldn’t use the Plane Talisman for direct teleportation, he had to transit through the Star Realm.
During this Star Realm crossing, Leon encountered the legendary Astral Giant Ship Beast.
The super massive Astral Giant Ship Beast was as majestic as the Ancient Red Dragon, its entire body enveloped by a heavy, spiked carapace, its two segnted limbs ending in knife-like sharp pincers, with stars swirling deep within its single eye, its long tail andering in the silvery void, said to be an extension of the Star Realm’s body.
Leon didn’t have the leisure to provoke the Astral Giant Ship Beast, spent nearly a day searching, and finally found the silvery Color Pool—that was the passage to the Material Plane. Taking a deep breath, he leapt into it.
Coming to his senses, Leon found himself standing on a steep mountain peak.
He could not determine whether he had really reached the Ferren Continent, but considering the nature of the Star Realm, as long as the destination is clear in the mind, travelers can naturally find the right path, unless encountering a rare psychic storm, deviations generally do not occur.
"It’s either the Cloak Forest or the Sharp Tooth Forest." Leon speculated privately.
Though unable to confirm the exact location, he knew that when crossing through the Star Realm’s Color Pool the landing point would be influenced by the traveler’s intention. If there’s no clear goal, one might randomly appear anywhere, while strongly thinking of a specific location, the Color Pool often takes one to the nearby area.
The super massive red dragon was indeed too conspicuous to wander around in Dragon Form, Leon thought a bit and turned into a falcon, spread his wings and soared into the sky.
Leon hovered in the sky, he saw a griffin, crouched atop a towering rocky cliff, nesting within a habitat made of twigs, leaves, and the bones of prey, thought to himself that in the ga he played from start to finish, there had been no griffins nor such a vast and boundless forest.
From the high altitude, Leon soon spotted a village, dove down, landed on a rooftop, discovering that the desolate village had no villagers, only fully ard hobgoblins, scattered bugbears, and swarming regular goblins road about.
Leon noted a bear goblin snoozing on the ground, had a flash of inspiration, approached the guy, and morphed into the counterpart, then grabbed the stick from the ground, swiftly cracked open the original’s head, hid the body well, and swaggered through the village.
A series of rapid clamoring sounds echoed, causing the door to creak and rattle.
Leon was curious, approached the stone house from which the strange sound ca, listened closely, heard deep moaning, seed soone or sothing was enjoying.
Leon peered through the door crack, and to his surprise, saw a strong bear goblin laboring behind a hefty female Ogre, the strong bear goblin in front of the female Ogre looked like a young boy, that was a little horse pulling a big cart.
The visual impact of that scene was overwhelming, making Leon feel his eyes were going to be blind.
Leon retreated repeatedly, had the mind to kill the pair of adulterers, suddenly realized a problem, could this place be the infected village in the ga?
He couldn’t be the only one having his eyes blinded. Leon took a deep breath and held back the urge to act.
Speaking of which, according to the ga plot, players wanting to play the protagonist, able to set their own image, could only choose one of two people, one nad Taf, and the other nad Evil Thought, choosing one, the other would die in the plot.
He wondered whether he would face Taf or Evil Thought at that ti?
