PALACE
The place was bustling with a lot of activity, the servants were all over the place doing their chores while several well-dressed ladies were doing their own things and these were the concubines of the palace.
In **** palace, sounds that can make one blush with shyness were being spewed. The servants were far away from the place but that didn’t stop their faces from turning red.
It was around nine in the morning and yet one couldn’t help but wonder just how shaless this couple was to copulate at this mont. As the couple was very busy doing their thing, a servant rushed inside and whispered sothing to the butler who was waiting loyally outside.
"Tell her Royal Highness to wait for a while, I am afraid that we can’t disturb His Majesty at the mont," the butler told the servant sternly as his eyes darted towards the door.
"I will do that straight away."
The servant scurried away to pass the ssage. At this mont, in a beautifully decorated gazebo, Princess Adele was currently having so tea while a female servant massaged her shoulders.
She didn’t dare bring her lovers into the palace, her father will definitely skin her alive if she does that.
When she saw the servant who left to go to find her father returning back, she couldn’t help but smile, her father was probably busy at the mont.
"Can I see him now?" Adele asked as she didn’t want to waste any ti.
Bowing his head low, the male servant replied, "I am afraid that it is impossible at the mont. The princess can wait."
Hearing this, she put down the cup of tea on the stone table and looked at the man, "umm, I will be going to concubine *** palace. When he is done, just find there."
Since the man was busy, Adele decided to go and check on her mother. It’s been a while since she saw the other.
The servant watched as the princess’s retinue left and he shook his head. Others will wait until the king was ready to see them but this princess was very different.
"Is this the reason why she is so loved?" he couldn’t help but wonder out loud.
Concubine Anne had already heard that her daughter was in the palace and she had been sitting on pins for a while. She wondered what more trouble she was causing this ti.
The last ti she ca to the palace was when she took her last boy toy, she was so mad at her that they quarreled. She didn’t want to quarrel with her daughter at all but the thought of her daughter going astray every single day, she just wanted to discipline her child.
It didn’t take long before her daughter was in her palace, hearing the servant announcing Adele’s arrival, she quickly sat down elegantly and acted as if she wasn’t the one pacing up and down anxiously just a while ago.
Adele missed her mother a lot, she understood greatly the worries of a mother but she just couldn’t help herself but follow her own heart. Taking in boy toys was greatly frowned upon but being with soone that she likes she didn’t see the need to hold back.
When she entered the hall, she found her mother busy playing with her nails but her loud heartbeat completely sold her out. She couldn’t help but look at the woman who loves her more than anything. Unlike other concubines in the palace, she was an only child and her mother set her ambitions on her which is a huge burden.
Luckily, she just follows her own heart and does whatever she wants.
"Mother, it’s been a while. I hope that you are faring well," Adele politely greeted as she looked at her mother.
Concubine Anne lifted her head and looked at her daughter who still looks beautiful as before. To think that the child she gave birth to was even stronger than her, she was very proud of that.
"Umm, I am okay. What brings you here? Did you find a sixth one so soon?" Anne couldn’t help but spew questions she didn’t want to ask at all and by the ti she realized what she had asked, it was already too late.
Adele didn’t take this seriously as she knew her mother very well. if she was a mother, she will be much worse than her mother.
Adele while sitting down on a comfortable couch answered her mother, "no, I haven’t found anyone yet but I am here to tell you about sothing. I bet that you will really like this one."
It’s been a while since Anne saw her daughter talking like this, even her own curiosity was piqued so she forgot about her anger and fury and asked, "tell , what is it?"
Seeing her mother hooked, she was so happy and decided to tempt her mother with so delicacy as well. with a flick of a finger, she sent a jug of water to her mother, "take a sip and tell what you think about it."
Anne imdiately opened the jug and took a sniff, there wasn’t any aroma at all and she didn’t know what it was. But her daughter never harms her so she took a sip without any caution and when the cold liquid touched her tongue and slowly baptized her throat, her eyes opened very wide with shock.
"This… what kind of water is this?" Anne asked as she took another mouthful.
"I also wonder too. Do you know how much this water is being sold for?" Adele asked in a manner that got her mother even more furious as her curiosity was over the top.
"Adele, just go ahead and tell everything. Why are you saying just half and leaving hanging?"
Adele giggled seeing her mother acting like this, she was also frustrated last night but after a few entertaining activities, it all vanished.
"Okay mom, so it is like ..."
Anne could be heard gasping and talking excitedly in the hall. And this is what the king who wanted to surprise his daughter arrived to see. As soone with higher cultivation, he stood outside and eavesdropped on the conversation.
It was bad for him to do it but he couldn’t help it after all his daughter was just …. It was very difficult for everyone and seeing Adele happy was the only that mattered.
The conversation was so interesting that he got intrigued too and, in the end, he joined the ladies. When Adele saw her father, she and her mother both stood up and bowed their heads to show their respect.
King Shepard excused their greetings and they all sat down once more.
"What you just said, it is true?"
Adele looked at her father and she knew that he had eavesdropped again but it didn’t matter anymore, "yes, father. I ca here today to ask for permission. I want to go and see this place for myself. If we can’t buy it then we might as well make so connections. It wouldn’t be good if soone else beat us to it."
The husband and wife looked at each other and silently communicated with their eyes.
"You are sure that you can do it?" King Shepard asked his daughter who looked very eager to leave any second with the way her eyes were sparkling.
"Umm, I am, just trust ," Adele vowed as she looked at her parents.
"Fine then. I will give you so people to go with you and bring along a few siblings, it’s perfect for you all to go out and bond. Just don’t cause any trouble," King Shepard decided.
Since Adele was going to be leaving, he wanted her to bond with so of her siblings. She was a bit withdrawn and he didn’t want that for his children.
Adele knew that this was her father’s compromising and since there was no harm in having other people tag along, she, "okay, I can deal with it."
With her agreeing, concubine Anne was very much relieved, her daughter was a hard person to deal with and she loved violence so much more than sitting down and talking about it.
King Shepard didn’t stay for much longer as soone wanted to et with him. This left the mother and daughter by themselves. The two began to chat rrily and all past grievances were pushed away and another new chapter was opened.
As Adele has to go with the other princes and princesses, she had to wait for a while and wait for her father to pick the people she will be going with. During the mont of waiting, she collected all the news about the mysterious shop and she was greatly intrigued.
After three days, she was summoned to the palace and her entourage was chosen. She was going with five others making them a total of six. It was three girls and three boys.
She was the oldest of the siblings and the youngest was fifteen. The group of bodyguards was also picked and they were very powerful, after all this was the first ti the royal kids were going sowhere as a group.
They were going to depart in one week, so the preparations began. At this mont, Adele was very conflicted she didn’t want to travel alone but wanted to spend so ti with her beloved ones.
