After Rose left Yang cooperation, she had to pick her customized dress from the largest fashion empire in the country.
After she picked her dress, she rushed to one of the hotels for a al since she did not have one that morning. She was in a rush to catch Liam in the office before he started attending etings and so did not have breakfast.
She was seated taking her tea when she saw a beautiful Porsche approching Chloe costics. The hotel was opposite Chloe Costics and she had chosen a seat in the open area where she can clearly see everything outside.
She was busy admiring the Porsche when she noticed another car behind it, but the car stopped before the Porsche.
She did not mind the other car that much and focused on the Porsche. Sotis she really admires things owned by others, forgetting she is a billionaire and can afford any of those things.
She saw a woman coming out of the car, whom she imdiately identified as Chloe. "She is so pretty! No wonder Jordan is super handso.. they are twins afterall..."
Rose continued observing as Chloe helped Mark with his luggage and her attention went back to her tea but as she was lifting back her head, her eyes ca in contact with the other car.
This ti, the windows were down and she could see a man in the car. His hand was covered in a large snake tattoo and he gave off so vibes that didn’t seat well with her.
She noticed the man staring at a certain direction and curiously, she followed his line of sight only to see the man looking at Chloe, talking to the phone.
’Huh? Is he a kidnapper or is he sent?’
Rose has been in the entertainnt industry for long, enough for her to know that she should never ignore her instincts. The man seed dangerous and his line of sight was mainly fixed on Chloe and not Mark.
Coupled with the fact that the man was on the phone at the sa ti, Rose’s sixth sense warned her that the man had bad intentions.
Despite the fact that she is not acquainted with Chloe, she could not ignore the red flag. Even if the person in Chloe’s place was a complete strange woman, she would have done sothing.
Chloe is Liam’s sister and by Heaven’s grace, her future sister-in-law through Jane. She cannot ignore that.
She took out her phone, scrolled through numbers and her thumb stopped on Jane’s number which she imdiately called.
In the eting room in Lu Cooperation, the air carried a lot of tension as departntal managers presented their work to Jane who apparently was not impressed with their presentations at all.
Jane was literally breathing fire and was about to lash out on the for the fifth ti since the eting started, when her cellphone rang.
Everyone in the room panicked hearing a cellphone ring because they knew it was against the rules but to everyone’s surprise, Jane picked up her phone, her expression imdiately softening.
"You need to help Chloe Yang sis. I am around her company and a while ago...."
Rose explained everything without leaving out a single detail to Jane, he voice carrying so fear.
Jane listened calmy but her expression suddenly turned icy when Rose gave her thoughts on what the man might be up to.
She stood up and left the eting room, leaving everyone else confused when Nicole looked at them, her expression serious and cold, just like Jane’s. "eting adjourned, you have until the end of the day to make proper work or say goodbye to your positions."
She walked out following her boss leaving the people letting out sighs of relief. They never underestimated Nicole because she carried the sa power and influence as her boss and her words were always indirectly Jane’s words.
