Liam was about to finally drift when the baby monitor sounded and the man couldn’t help but groan as he stared at the ceiling because those two haters just had so smooth timing!
They couldn’t even let him enjoy the first night with his wife! Why were they so hateful?!
Liam quickly gathered himself before he carefully put Jane on her side of the bed as he woke up, making sure that he had covered her well before rushing to the twins room to check on what the problem was.
The mont he got in, he was able to imdiately identify what the problem was. They had soiled their pants.
He didn’t know if it was really a twin thing or so, but these two people would normally do this type of activities all together. If one soil their pant, the other was guaranteed to do the sa thing.
And of course, they were those type of kids who couldn’t even go for a minute with that situation inside their pants, they would imdiately yell for a change. Yes, yell!
Liam’s expression softened as he picked his babies carefully out of their cribs before aligning them and starting to do. the necessary, cleaning them carefully and making sure that they are now comfortable and okay.
The fact that he was woken up at such a ti, The man was supposed to, of course be a little bit angry at his kids, but all one could spot was a careful and a beautiful level of gentleness as he changed their soiled diapers. And of course, to him, his children’s comfort ant his happiness, and even if they were to wake him up at 3:00 AM, it was okay, no problem. He was going to do it.
He looked at the wall clock and realized that it was 1:30 AM and the kids did not look and seem to be going back to sleep any mont.
Liam thought for a minute before picking both twins up and taking their necessary items as he went back with them to their master bedroom and of course, carefully laid them between him and his wife, making the two boys imdiately smile at their father.
Their toothless gums looking at him, and the man couldn’t help but smile back because they slled the scent of their mother. And if there’s anything they loved at this point, anything that related to their mom and of course Jane herself.
Alaric imdiately nestled himself in Jane’s chest because he felt extrely comfortable as surprisingly, Aston rushed towards Liam, nestling himself in his chest equally as the two babies started dozing off almost imdiately, shocking Liam because these were the sa people who were acting as if they were about to beco night owls!
Alaric’s movent imdiately woke up Jane, who wanted to speak but was imdiately attracted to the little been that was trying to further nestle into her, and she couldn’t help but gently smile as she positioned her son perfectly, and as if it was an automatic reaction, she started looking for the other one only to see Liam doing the sa thing with Aston, and she couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
Even though the kids were just drifting off to sleep, her laughter did not wake them up. Instead, it just acted as a sleeping catalyst to them.
Yeah. Liam looked caught in the act and he couldn’t help but awkwardly smile as he tried explaining that he didn’t bring them by default and that they had cried, had soiled diapers and he had to change them and because they looked like they were not going to sleep any minutes soon, he had to co back with them.
"It’s okay baby, it’s okay...."
Jane said in between laughter, but he could clearly notice that she was laughing at him, as she carefully beckoned him and asked him to co closer.
And as they ca closer, the two beautiful babies where carefully placed in between their parents as they could be able to perfectly feel their parents in the bed sheet, in their bodies and of course, just the surrounding was calming them down as the two s parents looked at their babies with very gentle eyes, and of course trying to calmly sing for them for them so that they would go to drift more peacefully.
"All this was possible because of you..."
Liam softly whispered and Jane just gave him a flying kiss back.
She wanted to tell him that if it were not for his sperms then these babies wouldn’t be here, but because she could understand the shrew nature of her husband well, she didn’t want them to speak dirty before their own kids. Even if they were asleep.
Are you going to sleep or should I bring you your al? You have not had any al and I know the mont these two demons wake up completely, they are going to latch on you like, seriously."
Liam imdiately brought up the issue that had been eating him up for so minutes, and because Jane felt like she really needed to eat, she beckoned him to bring the food and Liam imdiately rushed towards the microwave, heating the food as he brought it to the bedside.
Yes, the man had brought the kitchen microwave to the bedroom because he didn’t want to go down the stairs and up again because he felt like he will be wasting his wife’s ti.
"Oh!! Coconut! coconut, mashed potatoes and beef. Oh, that’s my husband!!"
Just the sll of beef was enough to make the girl imdiately fully wake up as she started wiping her hands on her robe in case there was any sweat or any dirt, making Liam laugh because he knew she was going to attack the at even without a spoon.
The man therefore cleverly brought her so water to clean her hands in case she decided to go feral with the at as the twins were sleeping peacefully, maybe because they could note that their parents were around and therefore the aura around was really calming for them.
Even though their parents were busy speaking in loud voices, they didn’t wake up because they just felt like they belonged to that environnt.
As Jane was busy eating, Like seriously eating because Liam had made sure that the potion was big enough to fill her stomach, and of course, to cater for the milk of the kids, Liam ca back holding two boxes, making the girl pause with her mouth stuffed with at and one could imdiately compare her with a squirrel stuffed with nuts.
"Happy birthday, my Queen. Yet another year that God has graced you. And yet another year that God has blessed with because, because of you, it has always been you, and it will forever be you. My love, Happy birthday, my queen, my heart, my everything. I love you."
Liam knew that his words sounded a little bit cheesy, but the cheesiness was clearly required at the mont.
Jane wanted to say sothing, but she was unable because her mouth was stuffed with at, like serious stuffing, and this only made Liam laugh as he slowly opened the gift box, the first gift box that he had for her, making the girl look at him with sparkly and expectant eyes.
There was a set of beautiful and delicately made jewelry and if anyone could carefully look at them, they could realize that this was made from the finest tals ever, and of course, the stones in the middle of the jewelry clearly resembled Jane’s eyes, and the girl’s eyes couldn’t help but water up because between them they never required anything expensive. Not at all.
And even though Liam knew that she didn’t like overrated and just stupid expensive things, but even with knowing this, he never stopped spoiling her and therefore this first gift box marked the beginning of many gifts that he has aligned for her for the day.
Though the jewelry looked like it would break with just one touch, a significance of how really delicate it was, it was making Jane want to squint her eyes and observe it further and the more she observed, the more satisfied she beca. She liked this type of things the most. She didn’t like bulky jewelry. She didn’t like shouting pieces. She liked simple, but of course, expensive things. That was her very big taste. and Liam never intended to miss out on his wife’s choices and preferences.
As she looked at the jewelry closer, Jane’s eyes bulged in surprise as she turned to look at Liam and the man was nodding his head in a lot of anticipation and a lot of happiness.
"Is...is it real? Baby, tell you’re joking! Is it real?"
Liam looked at her lovingly as he slowly pecked her full lips followed by her forehead because he couldn’t dive in for a deep kiss because the girl was busy munching even during such a romantic mont, but he honestly found it funny and cute.
"So...in... in six months we’re going to be officially husband and wife!!!!"
"Yes, my love. Yes!"
Indeed the jewelry was not just a simple set but it had been crafted sothing, and that sothing needed Jane to carefully look into it for her to find it.
And when she finally saw it, one could see the shining stars that had carefully ford in her eyes as she wiped her hands before she took out the jewelry and started feeling it and observing it further. In six months she was going to be an official wife!
