After shutting the twins room, Liam imdiately rushed their own master bedroom and the mont they got in, the man quietly sat on the bed as he made sure she was straddling him, patting her back from ti to ti as he let her release all the tears that she had built up.
"Relax, my love. Relax. I’m so sorry. Forgive . I didn’t an to hurt you. Never have I ever ant to hurt you in this life. Absolutely not!"
Liam quietly comforted her, but one could hear the brokenness in his voice making Jane imdiately stop leaning into him and straighten herself as she directly looked at those blue eyes, a pair that seed to be holding a lot of untold secret, secrets that the owner didn’t even know of.
"What happened to you in the nine months I was gone? You’ve changed so much..."
Liam imdiately beca nervous the mont he heard her saying he changed because he didn’t know if she was talking about a good change or a bad change.
"Is.. is it a good change or.. Is it a bad one?"
Liam was stuttering and nervous, but one couldn’t bla him because if you get told by your partner that you have changed, that is not a good sign, neither is it a statent that leads to good things.
"A bad one, Liam. A bad one."
"No, don’t call Liam Please. Call hubby. Call baby. Anything but just not Liam baby!"
The man felt like he was about to go absolutely feral because even after saying that or showing signs that she was going to forgive him, she still referred to him as Liam and that thing irked him to no end.
"When I was going into a coma I left a very jovial man. A man who knew how to control his emotions. A man who had cold but tolerable eyes, only cold and sharp towards the strangest on the outside world, but completely warm to his family. When I was leaving I left a man who was just on a very top notch level of positivity but when I ca back, I found a broken man, A man whose eyes was so sharp and so deep. Like I just feel like I’m getting lost in them sotis and... I don’t know how to describe the type of sharpness that you display. It makes Jane Lu, the famous Jane Lu get nervous. Do you know how much it takes to get nervous, Liam? Do you? That’s how bad things are. And do I have to speak about the fact that you don’t control your emotions? You can’t control your anger, you just let it blindly take over. What if you end up doing sothing and not supposed to do one day? Who will you bla?"
Jane did not intend to go sweet and soft with him for whatsoever reason because she wanted the man to understand. If she was an irrational person and soone who just took a lot of things personally, then she would even be heading to her parents house as they were speaking because she just couldn’t hold it in.
But of course, that doesn’t an that she’s not petty. If she really wanted to do it, then she would have done more than whatever was running in her head right now.
Jane saw his downcast expression, and her heart couldn’t help but break further because she knew the man was trying to find a right excuse or a right answer but the more he skimd through his mind, the more he ca out with nothing, because he equally didn’t know how he ended up in such a situation, only that he knows he couldn’t survive without her, and therefore his primal instincts took over.
"You know what? You’re right. I’m so sorry. I.. I’ve just had it very, very rough throughout the nine months, taking care of our kids, at the sa ti trying to stabilize my ntal health and of course making sure that our kids are growing in a beautiful and jovial environnt. It was not easy. But that is not a reason to justify for my mistakes. I am so sorry, my love. Thank you for highlighting my mistakes and thank you for calling out because I will change. I will strive to go back to the Liam you used to know. I...."
"Relax, my love. Relax. You know, I still love you either way. I just don’t want us to let anger and so emotions that have never existed in our relationship takeover and of course ruin the beauty that we have at the mont. Because I can’t imagine living without you. And I can’t imagine co parenting with you simply because we are unable to sort out our differences abut are able to let our anger take control or our emotions, to control where they are not supposed to.
Jane imdiately comforted her man and Liam pulled her in for her very tight heart as the man finally let all the emotions once again, that he didn’t know were building up as Jane just pat his back gently and carefully.
They maintained the sa level of silence for quite a number of minutes, close to 30 minutes before they finally parted, and when the two ended up looking at the wall clock together, they realized that it was just 5 minutes to her birthday.
Liam self mockingly laughed as he scratched his nose in embarrassnt.
"I had prepared a very beautiful surprise for you. I just didn’t know that I was going to ruin it with my own hands and I guess it won’t make or create the sa effect now will it?"
The man was nervous and afraid of maintaining eye contact because if there’s one thing he knows about his woman, she really valued such events, birthday parties and of course those little events where soone achieved sothing big in their lives. That is sothing she really loved and that is sothing she really took seriousness in and for him to finally ruin her birthday himself, He didn’t know what to expect from her.
Jane just shook her head as she saw the nervousness on his face and imdiately used one of her fingers to support his chin as she made sure that his face was aligned to hers as they maintained eye contact before finally speaking.
"Us being able to sort out our differences is enough present for this ti around. Us being able to communicate our feelings and not shut down each other is enough present for .But of course that doesn’t an that I’m letting you go scott free. You have a lot of things to make up to for , Mr. You have a big list and I’m making sure that I max your credit card this ti round. I’m not having any rcy on you. Humph!"
Liam continuously nodded as he had her statent, and the man couldn’t help but imdiately seal her lips with his, the kiss getting hotter minute after minute, before he finally turned their positions, making her gently lie on the bed as he hovered around her, positioning himself in between her legs as he started grinding her but at sa ti being gently with her."
The two of them imdiately started experiencing their steamy mont as no one was ready to back down in terms of dominance. Both of them wanted to dominate the other but the other not wanting to let down their guards making their make out session look so hot...making it looks so... well....a little bit feral.
Even though the two had finally stop, they couldn’t help but take a little breath before they went back to their little make out session again, making the moon out blush because these two are really showing it things when it was supposed to be a beautiful, innocent night. But again, let the birthday girl enjoy it!
Yes, Liam was ready to eat her whole because she clearly made it clear that she was okay physically and she was not feeling any type of energy strain, but the man had to stop because he rembered she had not had her supper and of course he had not gifted her what he had prepared co 12 AM midnight.
"You have not eaten, my love. Let just warm up the food and bring it here."
Liam spoke with a lot of gentleness as he stood up and tried to adjust his pants, but just had to give up because his boner was really standing out and Jane was just looking at him in amusent, not even saying anything, making the man inwardly groan as he promised himself that the ti he would be able to catch her, like properly, then she won’t be able to get out of the bed for close to a week because he was going to thoroughly work on her.
The man left to go reheat the food and of course pick the gift that he had prepared for her, but as he left the room, Jane started feeling a little bit of dizziness and of course, she imdiately felt the exhaustion that was hitting her ntally and physically coming back and bombarding her imdiately, making her imdiately lean carefully on the pillow as she closed her eyes.
But of course, she ended up falling asleep.
In under 20 minutes or so, Liam ca back, eyes wide open in happiness, only to find his beautiful woman already asleep, and the man couldn’t help but helplessly look at the items in his hand. But again, he didn’t want to bother her because he knew she was tired. She needed to rest on her first day, but he had made her go through an emotional rollercoaster instead.
So instead of saying much, the man rushed down and made sure that all the lights were closed before he ca and gently climbed the bed, pulling her in as he hugged her, making sure her head was peacefully resting on his chest, as he equally closed his eyes.
They were going to celebrate during the day, but right now, he was going to feel the ultimate feeling, first ti in nine months of finally cuddling his wife to sleep.
