Anna and her mother just couldn’t comprehend what to do as they looked back and forth from the unconscious man to the girl who was laughing her ass out as she got into her car.
"My dau..." Alice had already turned to her daughter and was about to say sothing, the word daughter barely rolling out of her tounge when Anna held her hand up to her, anger and frustration evident in her face.
"Don’t you dare finish that sentence Alice!"
Alice widened her eyes in shock, what on earth was happening and why was this ungrateful child she birthed calling her by her damn na? Did she perhaps miss sothing?
"Everything is your fucking fault! Couldn’t you get any other rich man fucking woman??!!! The whole country has to criticize because Iam your damn daughter! The rest of the family hates because of you!!"
Anna scread out scaring her mother but of one looked closely, hurt flashed through the woman’s eyes as she just stood and Stared at her own flesh and blood Bla her for.. Everything?
"I hate you! Because Iam your daughter, I can’t enjoy life like anyone else out here! Because Iam your daughter, all prominent families distance themselves from you fucking bitch! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU ALICE!"
Anna shouted once more but this ti the three words, ’I hate you’ were the only thing Alice was hearing. Despite the fact that she herself wasn’t the best description of a saint, scratch that, she was far from a saint but hearing her own daughter, the girl she struggled to fight for everything for saying she hates her hurt like a bitch but was it really ant not to hurt?
It was ant to pierce her every nerve, she sohow managed to recover from that little shock before she finally faced her daughter, this ti, not masking the emotions on her face. Hurt, pure hurt, frustration, guilt and what was that? So regret flashing?
"I understand, Iam sorry I am a disappointnt to you, if you will excuse Anna, I love you my dear daughter."
Alice said before she took her suitcase, had one look at her husband, well ex husband now and a final look at her daughter before she dragged her suitcase away, not really knowing where she should go.
Anna looked at her mother who just told her she loves her even after she lashed out on her mother, called her hurtful nas and told her she hated and hates her but still, she was able to see the hurt in her mother’s face but she just chose to push it at the back of her head.
She blad her mother but forgot she was not entirely innocent, more like she is the reason why Linda appeared which is half true but she is still the reason why Linda accepted this job whole heartedly.
She looked at her Unconscious father and scrunched her nose in disgust before leaving the vicinity as she headed to Edward’s house because to her, Edward was back wrapped in her arm and even though she ’lost’ her parents, she still has Edward, her only ticket to stabilize her position in the society.
As she was driving back, her thoughts unknowingly went to Linda and she ended up applying pressure on her bottom lip until the tallic sll of blood reached her taste buds making her release lip with a certain frown on her face.
She thought of how Linda was just a weak girl she single handedly kicked out of the industry and that alone was enough to tell her that soone was behind everything and this soone was obviously powerful.
Apart from being powerful, for this girl to work this ’diligently’,she was either given a super good deal or the person behind her had a burning grudge with her and knew about existing problem with Linda.
"Fucking piece of shit! Jane Lu!"
Anna had to stop the car to catch her breath and control her raging emotions when Jane’s na popped in her head. Of course it had to be Jane, like who else hated her that much?
She decided to head ho and settle her emotions first before she finally tackles Jane because according to her, Jane has relaxed for long, no scandals, no nothing.
Unfortunately for her, Jane also felt the sa, like she had given the girl a break for long but the biggest difference is that Jane had been causing so little damage here and there and Anna..well is just Anna.
"Baby! I miss you!" That was the first thing she said imdiately she saw Edward who had coincidently arrived at the sa ti.
The man froze when a pair of hands wrapped around his torso but the disgust in his eyes left the sa way it ca, super fast. He just let her hug her before he finally took her arms and made her appear before him.
He silently kissed her hands before leading her inside. If he needed to deal with her, he had to act loving which was not him in any way but what to do? He wanted revenge even though he saw her stomach which was protruding at a very fast rate which was shocking to him since it looked like she had twins..wait what!
He imdiately shook his head as if trying to tell himself that it is not possible and his body imdiately relaxed as the couple headed in.
