The military guards imdiately appeared and created a shield around both Ian and Mary.

"General Mo, is it true that you are now a married man?" One reporter asked as all the caras faced both Ian and Mary waiting for an answer.

Ian looked at the caras before answering proudly, with a smile plastered on his face, "To the most beautiful woman in country X." One could clearly hear the pride in his voice as they all proceeded to congratulate the two when one reporter suddenly asked sothing changing the atmosphere in seconds.

"But General Mo, you are a very important person in this country and from my research this woman is a lowlife and an orphan, you can’t possibly just get married to her, I believe I speak for country X when I say she is not suitable for you general." The reporter finished her statent shocking the entire crowd of reporters and the bystanders who were around.

Before either Ian or Mary spoke, a voice was heard from behind as reporters paved way for the lady who was approaching the front. "If a re reporter can notice this general Mo then you really need to rethink your idea of marrying her."

A beautiful woman dressed in luxurious clothes ca forward as she made her intention clear. "You see general Mo, you need more than a beauty beside you, soone who understands the higher society better, soone like I.. Victoria, the heiress of the Li family.." She finished but not without sizing Mary up and down.

By now all caras were keenly recording everything because it seed like there was going to be a good show. Ian was about to speak when Mary started laughing as she clapped her hands prompting Ian to give her a confused look but that didn’t stop the girl.

"Allow husband.." She said as she left her position and stood next to the Victoria girl. Her facial expression changed and beca serious that even Ian got scared for a second because of the aura she was releasing.

"Now, let make this clear, I am officially Mrs Mo and if you hate that then that’s not my problem. To the reporter who questioned my husband’s choice, this is a clear sign that you do not trust your own general. Do you think he would just go to the streets and pick soone without consideration?"

Her statent made sense as the rest of the reporters looked at the female reporter who had spoken earlier since Mary’s words were actually serious making them give her looks of accusation. The reporter actually got scared and looked over at Victoria for help since she was hired, promting Victoria to interfere.

"Actually, judging from your looks, am glad you know you are from the streets." Victoria said successfully getting their attention and successfully angering Ian but Mary was not about to let Ian fight her battle.

She turned and gave Victoria a look from head to toe and back before smiling as she spoke, gently running her hands on Ian’s face. "Miss Li, you say you want my husband right?" Victoria rudely rolled her eyes as she nodded her head, "Of course, are you deaf or sothing, every woman in country X does."

Mary chuckled before looking back at the lady, her hand in it’s initial position. "You really want him but the real question remains to be,Does my man really want you, or even at least want to hear your na?"

"Ooooh.... "All the reporters shouted at once because that was a big slap on Victoria’s face! Ian burst into laughter as he shook his head to remind everyone that the answer was a big no! "I hope you clearly saw the no from him, now rember to stay in your lane young lady or I will personally teach you and keep your eyes off my man." The mont Mary finished her statent, a loud clap was heard as everyone turned behind only to see Mother and Father Mo, with Mother Mo fangirling as she rushed forward.

She imdiately pulled Mary in for a hug as she shouted to the reporters, "Make sure you get a good picture of us!" All the reporters were seriously clicking the pictures when Victoria suddenly shouted, "STOP!" everything went silent as everyone looked at her waiting for her to speak.

"Mrs Mo, you can’t let a commoner into your house! She doesn’t even understand the rules of the upper society." She spoke as if she was so concerned about it but Mother Mo gave her a boring look that only Ian and father Mo could understand. Mrs Mo acted as if she did not hear anything and returned to hugging Mary as if nothing happened totally humiliating Victoria. She stopped for a second and looked at Victoria frowning making the girl think that she was considering her opinion only to shutter her dreams completely.

"Ohh, you said you co from what family now?" She asked the girl who enthusiastically replied, "The Li family Ma’am." Mrs Mo looked at her from head to toe, "Yea, never heard of it personally and stay away from my son and daughter-in-law. You look creepy." She went back to hugging Mary who was by now dying of laughter and before Victoria could recover from the slap, Father Mo went past her as he spoke, "This event is also live young lady, save yourself from the Sha."
