His statent brought her back to reality as she imdiately stopped smiling as she nodded her head in agreent to his statent, "I guess you are right Ian... now drive, we are getting late.." The girl spoke as she beca her serious self once again.
Ian gave her a side look as he followed her instructions driving them to the bureau. The mont the car pulled over outside the civil bureau, all the people who were actually minding their business actually stopped because for starters, his car was actually one of the latest edition so it was not a surprise.
Mary noticed the situation and stiffened a bit but before she could overthink for long, three military n suddenly appeared as one of them opened the car door on Ian’s side.
The man just smiled as he got down making the military n salute him and in return, he gave them a slight nod. With all the people Watching, so even taking out their phones to record, he went round and opened the door, putting forward his arm for Mary to take.
Despite being shocked, the girl put her hand on top of his as she got down and once she was down, Ian put his hand around her waist and after noticing that people were taking videos of them, he leant towards her ear and whispered, "Ohh I forgot to tell you earlier, you have a beautiful smile, make sure you smile often honey."
His statent made the girl go pink with blush imdiately, sothing that most of the people did not miss, exactly what Ian wanted because if they were going to make this marriage seem like a real one, they had to act all lovey dovey in public.
"Aaaw.. she is so pretty!" A won in the crowd shouted as they made their way in and Ian actually responded, "I agree." The man wore a proud smile as everyone greeted him giving him respect as the major general of the country.
Mary’s face was now super red because of blushing since the man beside her didn’t seem bothered with all the people recording and he was even flirting in public!
They got in and headed directly to where they were supposed to sign their certificates since Ian had made prior arrangents. The mont they got there, they found the certificate ready with a pen already in place.
"Are you ready to beco Mrs Mo?" Ian asked as he caressed her hand and Mary nodded as she gave a slight smile.The officer in charge couldn’t actually tell that this marriage was not out of love because the two were acting so natural.
Ian proceeded to sign on his part and handed the pen over to Mary who ended up signing without hesitation because she knew a lot of people were watching and they did not want to ss up.
"Perfect. You are now officially married. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mo! If you could please follow for the photos kindly." The officer in charge imdiately announced after Mary put down the pen.
The people around started clapping as Ian and Mary followed the officer for their photo. "You are too far from each other, get closer." The photographer told them the mont he noticed that the two were not as close as they should be. Ian imdiately pulled her by her waist gently enough and to spice up the mont, he grabbed her by the chin and imdiately dived in for a kiss shocking the crowd. The kiss did not last for long as he pulled away almost imdiately and whispered sothing into her ears making the girl actually smile and on seeing the smile he wanted, Ian ended up smiling too. The mont they both faced the cara still smiling, the cara man took the opportunity to take the picture and on checking it, he couldn’t help but smile as he nodded.
"You look perfect Mr and Mrs Mo! Congratulations!" Ian and Mary nodded in unison and in less than 10 minutes, the two had already collected their certificates as they headed out.
The mont they were out if the bureau door, they were surrounded by reporters who seed to have been eagerly waiting for this mont.
