People stood up as they clapped for the couple as Edward put a ring on her finger.
"A. he really loves her!"
"But I still think he shouldn’t have cheated on Jane."
"I am glad he did! Look at Jane next to a perfect man who actually deserves her!"
Despite the many claps, there were also those who couldn’t keep their mouths shut as there were different opinions about the couple.
The Chen couple together with Anna’s parents stood up and headed for the stage as they waved continuously to the crowd as if they were so celebrities.
"I would also like to thank you all for attending today’s event and especially our in laws, the mighty Lu family! A round of applause for them please!"
Mr Chen spoke as he ran his eyes across the venue as if to remind his competitors who his in-laws were but the people in question did not even smile reminding the crowd of Anna’s position in the family.
"I am thankful for the blessings I have today, a beautiful daughter-in-law and a grandchild on the way!"
Mother Chen started her speech in an energetic and excited voice making all the mothers jealous successfully because they all wished to have grandchildren honesty.
Involuntarily, mother Lu turned and looked at her two children with a smile on her face only her husband noticed.
"Honey, don’t do what I know is running in your head, they will give us grandchildren at their own ti."
Mr Lu spoke as he tapped her lightly, earning a small smile in return.
She did not know that she was not the only one who was in deep thought because both Liam and Jane were in the sa boat.
’Is it too early to make her my fiancee?’ Liam deeply and he caressed Jane’s hand not knowing she was having almost the sa thought.
’I wish he can make his fiancee soon, I want a baby..’ Jane spoke as she touched the expensive locket which apparently had a ring she had made for Liam but couldn’t give him because she didn’t know how to without having to state her reasons.
The couple was in deep thought that they did not realize all eyes in the venue were on them until Jordan tapped their shoulders.
"Guys, everyone is waiting for you."
Jordan said as he tapped Liam who gave him back a confused look but before he could ask, Anna spoke once again.
"Cousin, it seems like you were not paying attention, I will repeat myself. A lot of hate is thrown at because everyone thinks I stole your man, with your blessings on our engagent and child, everyone will believe we are okay with each other."
The entire hall was silent as they all stared at Jane and even if no one said it, they all could see what Anna was trying to do.
The Jane in question was silent since Anna spoke making people only believe that she was not over Edward. Liam’s heart was beating super fast imaging her being silent because she couldn’t accept Edward being soone else’s man.
Edward on the other hand started smiling deep down noticing her reaction thinking she was still into him.
Before anyone could say a word, including Liam, Jane suddenly took his hand and without a word, started leading him on stage, people naturally paving way as she passed.
On stage, before everyone and all the caras recording the event, Jane smiled as she took the microphone from Anna and stared at the audience.
"You may all sit." Imdiately these words left her mouth, everyone sat down as if they felt they were about to witness a very important scene.
Liam did not say a thing because he was more than confused and his thoughts were currently running wild.
"You see, it is not a secret that Mr Chen and I used to date but because he chose another part, we couldn’t have those couple goals you all dream of."
She started with a small smile.
"I stopped believing in love when it all happened but that is when I t him.. Liam Yang."
She briefly starred at him but her heart sank because she could clearly see fear in his eyes and she knew why.
"This man made , a hopeless soul in love believe that love can still be beautiful.."
She walked upto him and took his hand, putting it around her waist to remind him she was there and her man did not fail her of course, he tightened his grip around her.
"Today, I would like to tell sothing to Country X.."
