Heavenly Eye didn’t know what they were talking about since the two of them were having a private conversation. But knowing how stubborn Martial Will was, Heavenly Eye knew that he wouldn’t give up so easily. So, she began thinking about what to do to steer this fight in her favor.
’The only way for me to have my way in this fight is for Black Chains to fail to kill the dragon. If Black Chains fails, I won’t have to swear any oath and the secret of the dragon possessing a Divine Tower will remain hidden.’
’But if Black Chains fails to kill the dragon, I also won’t be able to kill the dragon. The only way to kill the dragon is for it to meet my true body.’
When her train of thought reached this point, she curled her lips and said to herself, ’It is now clear what I have to do. I have to help the dragon ascend.’
While the Dao Lords were chatting, plotting, and scheming, the black monkey reached the area of the dragon. It came carrying a graveyard full of skeletons with it.

Watching the graveyard being pushed aside and consumed by the black hole that the dragon had bee, Black Chains’ eye twitched, and he said to himself, ’If only I could bring down my true body, I would crush this pipsqueak like the bug he is. How did he get a domain this big anyway? How did he grow to this size without alarming anyone?’
As he asked himself these questions, he hesitated slightly. But he regained his confidence when he remembered that he was in possession of a Cosmic Dao.
He would have liked to be the one to set the battlefield and control the flow of battle, but since a Cosmic Dao is more powerful than a Grand Dao, even if he were at a disadvantage in terms of domain power, he would still e out victorious in total power.
With his confidence regained, he continued to approach the black hole. The black hole was rotating rapidly, pulling everything around into it and devouring them. It really looked like a beast that could devour the world.
If he were only a Dao Initiate, this black hole would be too terrifying to approach. But he had his true body watching from above, so he knew that he wasn’t jumping into the unknown.
The eyes of his true body could see both the dragon, everything going on in the black hole, and the dragon’s thoughts. Then the information the true body saw was transmitted to him.
It was just that the dragon’s thoughts were delayed by a few seconds. With their level of speed, which has crossed the speed of light, a few seconds is a long time.
By the time he knew what the dragon was thinking, a lot had happened, and it was too late to leverage this knowledge in battle. But having some knowledge is still better than having no knowledge about the thoughts of the dragon.
Because of this assistance from his true body, even though Loki had the power to hide from his sight, he could still see Loki since Loki couldn’t hide from the eyes of his true body. The same was true for Sword Maestro’s avatar.
Loki has used the Obscuring Mist Metax and the Invisibility Metac, but he still couldn’t hide from the sword lord’s avatar. The avatar could keep track of him and pursue him with that bloodied stick in his hand.
Despite this advantage in perception, the disadvantage in power remained overwhelming. No matter how the stick-wielding avatar tried to approach him, he was always able to stay away while slowly grinding down the avatar.
In his desperation, the avatar of the sword lord said to him, "If you spare me, I’ll tell you how to advance to rank 10."
Loki was tempted by this offer. He wasn’t sure which was better, the Killing Supreme Metac or a way to bee a Dao Lord, so his will faltered a little bit.
As for how he might be able to have both if he used the Rewind Metac to reverse time, he didn’t think about it. He also didn’t think about the Time Loop that he was in the process of setting up.
Anytime he wanted to think about anything related to the Time Pathway, the Danger Sense Metac would flare up. The strong intensity of the warning of the Danger Sense Metac always distracted him from what he wanted to think about.
Actually, the same thing always happened whenever he tried to think about any other pathway he was in control of, not just the Time Pathway. It seemed that the fact that he possessed more than one Pathway couldn’t be exposed without the risk of incurring danger that he might not be able to handle.
This is why he didn’t use any other pathway other than the Devouring Pathway. It is also why he didn’t think about the spark of power and anything related to it, including the other pathways attached to it.
So he considered Sword Maestro’s offer seriously as if he didn’t have an extra option, which distracted him a little bit. The faltering of his will was just for a little bit, but it still led to the reduction of the intensity of his attack.
When Sword Maestro saw this, he was sure that his offer had moved Loki. So he pressed while the iron was hot and said, "I will also help you if you let my avatar go. I will help you with information, resources, and physical assistance."
"You may not know that Black Chains forbids the creation of more Dao Lords. Anyone who tries to ascend will be killed, so you need the help of a Dao Lord to help you ascend."
