Chapter 29: Reaching The Limit.
Unlike other people who have to treat their energy well with care, he doesn’t really need to slowly use the Cloudy Date tac to nourish his energy well. Fenrir doesn’t need him to be in a quiet place with a calm state of mind for it to devour the Cloudy Date tac.
So a few minutes after getting ho, he was done using up the six Cloudy Date tac. Then he activated the Rewind tac.
He didn’t want the Rein Family to co after him before he knew to leave. So he quickly activated the Rewind tac for a graceful exit.
When he opened his eyes again, it was at the mont when he awakened. The first thing he did after awakening was to think about his experience in the last tiline.
What he thought about made him smile and say, "To be honest, I was indeed ignorant about contracts. So that can be said to be money spent well on learning."
He was smiling, but beneath his smile was the sharp edge of the blade of vengeance. This is sothing that his unsmiling eyes might be able to deduce.
The blade of vengeance made Loki squint his eyes and say, "My Core tac is actually Fenrir, not the Telekinesis tac. Fenrir encapsulates four other Core tacs, so will the normal way of upgrading a Core tac work?"
"I doubt the normal way will work. But there is no need to worry. I bet if I devour a rank 2 Telekinesis tac and fuse it with the rank 1 one that I have in Fenrir, it will surely be upgraded."
The more he thought about this thod of upgrading his Core tacs, the more he thought that it was feasible. The best part of this thod is that it will allow him to have his revenge on Tommy.
Even if the thod doesn’t work, as long as he can have his revenge on Tommy, he will be satisfied. But if the thod works, then the fact that he won’t need to jump through hoops in order to upgrade his Core tacs in the future will be the icing on the cake for him.
After thinking about this for a while, he switched his focus to his level of cultivation. So he used the Power Identification Ability to check his state. This can be said to be the second thing he did after reversing ti.

When he saw his new and improved state of the quantity and density of his internal energy, he nodded in satisfaction. He liked to see the improvents in his power, so he thought about devouring another Core tac to add a fifth energy chamber in Fenrir.
A fifth energy chamber raised to the peak of rank 1 will increase his total internal energy by 616, which will be a 24.24% increase. This will be a significant increase, so he wanted to find a way to achieve it as soon as possible.
But he quickly rembered that he had reached his limit of energy chambers. This made him give up on the idea.
Then he glanced at Slav and asked himself, "Should I kill this boy or not? If I kill him, what Core tac am I willing to replace with his Danger Sense tac?"
Unlike everyone else, he possesses a Core tac, and it is one that can be used to attack and kill. This Core tac is the Telekinesis tac.
As long as he can get Slav within range of the Telekinesis tac, which is currently 1.5 ters due to the strength of his soul, he will be able to exert the power of his mind on Slav.
So even if he can’t kill Slav with it outright, he will still be able to use it to prevent Slav from escaping and fighting back while he gets to work with his sharp wooden knife.
All in all, he should be able to easily kill Slav if he can get close enough to Slav. Unfortunately, getting close to Slav to kill him is going to be a very difficult thing to do.
In fact, simply entertaining the idea of killing Slav already made Slav feel uneasy. Slav glanced at the source of danger, which was Loki, and beca wary.
This made Loki sigh and say, "There goes my chances of ambushing him. So it is not necessarily a bad thing that I still can’t take Core tacs."
"I guess I’ll have to wait until I grow stronger and make more room within myself for more Core tacs. I bet that I should be able to crush Slav, then even if he knows that I’m coming for him."
Even if he gets Slav now, he still can’t change the fact that he can’t take more Core tacs. So if he gets the Danger Sense tac, he will have to give up one of the previous four tacs in order to make room for the new one.
This isn’t sothing he wants to do for several reasons. The most important reason why he doesn’t want to give up any of his four tacs is that Slav didn’t use the Danger Sense tac as his Core tac in their last life.
He noticed that Slav had also requested a Core tac from the sect. While he is aware that this could be a plot to fool people into thinking that his Core tac is sothing else, Loki doesn’t think it is true because he also saw Slav being very excited to receive Core tacs from the sect.
It could be that Slav was pretending to be excited in order to fool nosy people like him, but if there are reasons why the usually pompous, filthy-rich second-generation cultivator doesn’t want to use the Danger Sense tac as his Core tac, those reasons cannot be good things for him.
