Luna.

She was only wearing short pants and a tight tank top, her damp hair falling loosely over her shoulders.

And sohow, she had appeared right at the door of his room.

The woman seed slightly surprised when she saw the phone Liam was using—the latest and most expensive iPhone.

Then, she gave a faint smile.

"Liam, why didn’t you reply to my ssage?" she said.

"How did you get in?" Liam asked as he straightened his back.

"I told your mom we had an assignnt to work on together," she replied casually, still smiling.

And indeed, there were a few books in her hands.

Since entering college, they actually no longer had joint assignnts, as their majors were different. Liam studied Economics, while Luna was in Pharmacy.

It wasn’t like she had never co to this house before. They had been friends for a long ti, but the last ti she visited... it seed to have been six years ago, when they were fourteen.

After entering high school, even if there were group assignnts, they were usually done at cafés.

Yet today, she ca again—and dressed like that.

Liam finally realized just how bold this woman was.

"Are you trading? Can I take a look?" she asked as she casually walked into his room and closed the door.

She even climbed onto his bed without hesitation.

Liam imdiately returned his phone to the ho screen before she could see anything, but she had already sat down right beside him on the bed.

Of course, she could still see the many trading apps on his phone.

"What are you doing?" Liam asked.

"Co on, why do you look angry at ? We’re friends, aren’t we?" she replied.

"Is that so?" Liam answered with a hint of sarcasm.

"Did you make all your money from trading?" she asked instead, changing the topic as if nothing was wrong.

"What if I did?" Liam replied.

"I do it too, but I always lose money. Trading classes are expensive, and there’s no guarantee they work. Maybe you could give so tips."

"Oh, so earlier today, you were actually talking about yourself?"

"Yes, because I didn’t want you to end up the sa way. Maybe just giving advice wouldn’t be enough, so I showed that mocking expression. But if you’re truly talented in this field, then this is your opportunity. By the way, Liam, are you just staying ho tonight? The car downstairs—is that yours? How about we go out? Just treat to a al... You must have made around 10,000 today, right? Spending 100 or 200 dollars on your childhood friend shouldn’t be a problem."

Liam, "..."

At this point, he realized just how manipulative a woman could be—it was enough to make his head ache.

If Luna were just an ordinary-looking woman, with an average face and body, he wouldn’t be affected.

But she was tall, slender, alluring, with skin as fair as snow.

Her face carried a tempting kind of beauty.

Even though he disliked her arrogance, he couldn’t deny that he had been attracted to her for a long ti. That was only natural. But this woman hadn’t even allowed him to remain her friend after they grew up.

She only associated with elite n.

Now, just knowing he had made 10,000 dollars, she ca to tempt him herself.

What if she knew he had actually made over 200,000—and had bought that car in cash?

Liam occasionally found his gaze drifting—her long, toned thighs, the subtle curve revealed by her neckline, the line of her slender neck.

And she simply smiled as she noticed his gaze, completely different from how she reacted when others looked at her.

How the world had turned upside down.

Liam wondered what life was like for truly wealthy people.

Perhaps even when they were old and close to death, beautiful won would still co to tempt them.

DING!

Liam’s phone suddenly rang with a notification.

It appeared on his screen—from his wallet application.

(Your coin ’Nietzschean Penguin’ has increased 100% above your entry price!)

After dropping who knew how much since he bought it, it had now risen 100% above his entry.

From a 1 million market cap, a 100% increase ant it had reached 2 million.

Fortunately, the notification only showed percentages, not the actual amount of money gained.

Even so, that alone was enough to shock Luna.

"You bought a coin? How much did you put in?" she asked.

Liam didn’t answer and didn’t open the app.

"You’re not going to sell it?" she asked again.

"Not now..." Liam replied.

"What if it drops again? coins always crash quickly."

"I understand that. You don’t need to tell ..."

"Oh, sorry. My mistake for stating sothing obvious to an expert... If that’s the case, does that an it’ll go even higher?"

The woman opened the DEX on her own phone—an iPhone 15 from two years ago, and only the base model.

She also had several crypto trading apps, including a wallet.

On the DEX, she quickly found the penguin coin.

"What? The market cap is already 2 million, and it was just launched today..." She looked even more surprised.

"Liam, do you think I should buy it?" she asked, caught between hesitation and desire.

Buying a coin at this price carried significant risk.

"You can decide for yourself. I’m not responsible if it crashes after you buy it," Liam replied.

He himself was still wondering what had caused the coin to rise after the developer had dumped such a large amount.

There had to be a reason—whether it was a CTO movent led by a well-known crypto influencer, or a major whale deciding to push the coin into virality.

Perhaps the concept itself was appealing, considering it had already reached a 1 million market cap so quickly.

Luna seed to think hard, but in the end, she still bought it.

Her wallet already had so Solana, but only worth around 100 dollars.

And she only used 50 dollars.

It imdiately dropped to 45 dollars due to heavy selling right after the sharp rise, and the decline showed no sign of stopping, causing Luna to furrow her brows.
