Alex was very fast, in just half an hour, he had already escaped more than five kiloters away. But the speed of fla was not slow either, it was like a flood of fla as it violently approached Alex.
Well, the fla was spreading in every direction and it also attracted much attention.
"Fuck!"
Alex cursed and was ready to start running once again, for the river of flas have already arrived in front of him. If he continued to stay any longer, the fla will subrge him.
Just as Alex was about to use his movent skill and run, a white light shot out of his right hand and a tiny white snake appeared.
It was the little Light Devouring Beast.
"You... Co back. It is dangerous!"
Just as Alex shouted and dashed at the Light Devouring Beast to pick it up and escape, little Light Devouring Beast's body suddenly started expanding and in the blink of an eye, it had already beco a huge monster, about 6 ters tall.
Then it opened its black hole-like mouth as a very strong devouring force burst out. It instantly started devouring the river of fire as if it was nothing, surprising Alex.
"This is..." Alex was shocked and then he instantly understood everything. "I forgot that it is a Light Devouring Beast and fire is one of the sources of light. No wonder it is able to devour the fire as if it is gulping down a large amount of water because of imnse thirst."
Alex's eyes suddenly lit up. He muttered: "Doesn't it an I can go and see what that tal plate actually is?"
As the sea of fire got gradually smaller, Alex started heading back to the area where he had seen the tal slate and thousands of Dream Spirit Grasses.
With the help of Light Devouring Beast, Alex returned to where he was previously very soon, and he was feeling rather excited now. But suddenly, he sensed soone coming.
"They are... Those two guys from earlier are here."
These two guys were already investigating the Burning Sky Plain for who knows how many days. Earlier, that devastating scene had happened in the Burning Sky Plain, so how could Bill and Kuntz not know about it?
Whether or not the tal slate had posed any dangers, Alex did not know. But the arrival of these two people made Alex realize that he could use them as guinea pigs to test danger. So, the next mont, he beca extrely relaxed.
The fla was now completely devoured by the Light Devouring Beast. After devouring, Light Devouring Beast returned to Alex.
Very soon Alex and the other two arrived at the location of Dream Spirit Grasses. Although Alex had discovered both of them, it was not true the other way around. When the flas have completely vanished, the two imdiately headed towards the center to see what caused the sea of fla to appear.
Alex wanted to keep his distance from the two of them, not letting them discover him. He wanted to see what will happen when they'll touch the tal slate. But he never expected them to start fighting as soon as they saw the tal slate. After exchanging a few moves, they separated and stared at each other with bloodshot eyes, as if condemning each other's death.
Alex was stunned, as he thought of the two earlier, who had still called each other brothers.
"Is the allure of treasures so great? These two brothers have actually started fighting with the intention of killing the other."
At this point, because the strange phenonon in Burning Sky Plain had vanished, the temperature had decreased a lot too.
"Kuntz! Do you not want your life anymore? I have told you earlier, let have the treasure this ti, and if I were able to reap so benefits, I will naturally share them with you!"
"You think I am a fool? After obtaining the treasure, I'm afraid the first person you'd kill is ! This tal slate can invoke such a huge fire, so how can it be a simple item?"
"Good! Good! If you are so stubborn in wanting to die then don't bla for being vicious!"
"Fiendish Rising Punch!"
The two of them were at the Origin Sea Stage Level 8. At this mont, they brought forth all of their skills and strength, and started a death match with each other!
This battle was extrely intense. Because both of their strength was equal, there was no sign of anyone winning for the ti being. It is just that the surrounding areas were being constantly destroyed by the two of them.
Thankfully, it was happening inside the Burning Sky Plain so there was nothing much to be destroyed. Otherwise, their battle would have caused a huge ss!
Bill's body was much more agile than Kuntz so in the end, Kuntz had an extrely unwilling expression as he was killed by Bill with a punch that collided against his left chest and shattered his heart. Bill was also drenched in blood which suggested that he was in a critical state!
But thinking that he had finally defeated Kuntz and managed to obtain the strange tal slate, his eyes blazed with desire.
"Kuntz, I gave you the option to not fight with for it, but you don't know your place and it serves you right that you're dead. However, don't worry; after I obtain this mysterious tal slate my cultivation will progress rapidly and I will take good care of your wife and son! After all, your wife is much prettier than mine!"
As he spat several tis on Kuntz's corpse, he slowly limped towards the mysterious tal slate.
Thinking of the tal slate which had caused such a huge phenonon, he beca extrely excited!
"This scum, earlier he had called him brother but then killed him for the treasure, and now he still wants to hit on the dead person's wife! What a bastard!"
Seeing that Bill had this kind of character, Alex showed an extrely disgusted expression on his face. He didn't expect him to be such a man.
At first, Alex wanted to let Bill and Kuntz touch the tal slate and see if there is any danger. But now, he changed his mind. He decided to simply finish this man.
Alex is not a saint and will definitely not want to fight for other people's sake. But he was really disgusted by Bill, thus deciding to take action against him.
He did not hesitate and took action.
As Bill was limping towards the tal slate, he suddenly saw a gust of whirlwind appearing between him and the tal slate. He raised his head and saw Alex standing in front of him and the tal slate was positioned behind Alex. If he want to obtain the tal slate, he had to get past Alex first.
"Why are you here?"
Bill's eyes revealed a shocked expression but after seeing Alex standing in his path for the tal slate, which he had fought and killed for, his expression instantly revealed signs of madness, and even though he was critically injured he still wildly charged towards Alex.
"I'm here to take your life. And... Do you really think you can defeat in your current state? Not to ntion now, even in your peak you could not defeat ."
Alex smirked and with his speed, he imdiately appeared very close to Bill.
At this point, Bill wanted to drag his heavily injured body and wildly use a martial technique on Alex. However, before he could even move one step forward, he was sent flying by a punch from Alex.
After being hit by Alex along with his already severely injured body, he spurted a mouthful of blood and neared his last breath, never being able to get up ever again.
Alex knew that if he did not save Bill, Bill would definitely die in this Burning Sky Plain after so ti. And of course, he'll not save him.
Since he already punched him and sent him to the death door, why would he save him?
Bill struggled to keep his eyes open and as he saw Alex who was approaching closer, he unwillingly asked: "You... Why?"
Seeing the extre unwillingness in his eyes, Alex smiled and replied: "Because you deserve to die!"
When Bill heard Alex, his face was first filled with disbelief, then swiftly turning into extre unwillingness. He, who had been on the verge of death, finally stopped breathing after so ti and went to et Kuntz.
Seeing his corpse, Alex sneered and said: "Earlier both of you wished to kill . So, you can't bla for killing you instead. Moreover, you were really disgusting and a bastard. I couldn't control myself but kill you after hearing you!"
Alex slowly arrived in front of the tal slate. The tal slate had already lost all signs of its previous violence and even energy fluctuation. It looked like an ordinary tal slate now.
